Just right from the first time I heard it. For me it helps me see beauty in the past and understand that life’s high stakes bring meaning to my actions. I wouldn’t have it any other way. I love how it eases in with growing optimism as my life has. 2:22 is where I am now, ready to choose joy not because life is easy or perfect but because I’m capable of choosing it.
Perfect piece of music. Like Mozart. Utter perfection. And now there's William Orbit. Perfect parlay of wondrous sounds and atmospheres, like this piece. We are fortunate to have this masterpiece
My dear Sylvana, you've passed so many years ago, but this song will always remind me of you. You wanted to get the songs from the album the first time you've heard them, and I will never forget you.
Awesome presentation. Really glad for sharing such a wonderful thing. William Orbit is one the of best music makers and his track blended really well with the visuals
Got to say though, I prefer William Orbit's music when there's a bit more guitar. He's a great guitarist and that's why I love the Hinterland album. It's a great combination of electronic and guitar music - particularly 'Montauk Point' and 'El Nino'. They're two of my favourite tracks ever!
William orbit, he,s away ahead of his time. Try strange cargo and hinterland. Hinterland is a masterpiece. His label is n gram and he has 4 different singers on each one. He,s very close to beth orton nwho sang on water from a vine leaf. He,s produced every one from orton, finley quay, blur,Madonna but his best stuff is still his own on n gram, check it out, you will not be surprised plus he plays all his own instruments. A master up there with Andrew weatherall and david holmes

Yeah, that theory is baseless -- and lacks clear observation, and common sense. People still want to deny these are old trees? Or is the agenda (and the tag-along goons) still just merely being dragged out to trick people into thinking they're not? Lava and magma doesn't do that. Plant cells do though. Unless the lava/magma used magic?
@@29sentz What part of "eroded" do you not understand? And yes, lava can take all sorts of shapes, just look at the Giant's Causeway in Ireland. Hexagonal columns there too, for miles. It's simple geo-physics.

This album, Hello Waveforms, has a few more that sound kind of similar (although TBF, I'm here because Sea Green is my favorite). Highly recommended. Just for my personal taste, none of his other work reached quite that height. If you like the album, you could check out The Campfire Headphase by Boards of Canada (try "Dayvan Cowboy") or Far Away Trains Passing By by Ulrich Schnauss (try "Knuddelmaus").
Get yourself Strange Cargo 'Hinterland'.... it's my favourite album of his.... I think you'd like Torch Song 'Toward The Unknown Region'... another beautiful LP of his
Worth noting is the MESSAGE of the 'devil's tower': the relationship of the Rock and the Tree. Please ponder this very, very carefully indeed. And ACT upon Awareness that may blossom of the importance of our beloved Natural environment in the coursing of Life in our veins and Mind ❤
It's good. Everything William Orbit does is good and it's a beautiful evocative sound. But I don't think it's his best. There isn't a single track on here that made me feel how I did when I first heard 'Water From A Vineleaf' and 'Montauk Point'. They were shiver up the spine moments, whereas as nice as this album is, it just feels a bit 'churned out'...

William Orbit, Orbital, The Orb. Three artists forever destined to be confused with each other.
Thank you William Orbit! Your music is Heaven! Grateful to Madonna that introduced me to your genius back then.
It was like a ray of light to me too. Check out pure shores. All saints used him before Madonna.
Same 🧞♂️🙋♂️

My first time hearing it right now and I'm dissappointed to hear this news
Me too.
Such a beautiful and amazing composition. Genius actually.
Yes genius.

A very humble, modest genius is Willam Wainwright.
He will leave behind a huge legacy of beautiful music,of which this piece is one.
New album out soon....

3:45 and 4:45 Isn't that the mountain from Close encounters of the 3rd Kind movie?
Yes.
Devil's Tower was there long before that film.
I enjoyed that one, Thx :)
We're heading into weird science. And, I don't think that's a bad thing.
It's got small echoes of 'Black Coffee' that he did for All Saints.
Where is the amazing mountain un 3"40'"?...all vídeo is a good trip

Why is this album so difficult to find?
Ok people...that so called mountain is actually a giant tree stump...in Wyoming USA.... William orbit knows this, I know this, do you know this?
That would be cool if true, lol.
Wikipedia disagrees.
