Finally someone who goes the extra mile to make others understand instead of saying study for the test we have next week
i like that's!
Next week? Lol it’s tomorrow
This isn’t understanding the unit circle. Anyone can memorize this without knowing how to derive the unit circle and know any trig at all lol take time to understand how you get the coordinates from right triangles
i know what kind of tattoo I'm getting now
lol
+1
Tattoo buddies ... Jk
But in the real ....
+Luis Gonzalez i second that
+Luis Gonzalez HAHAHAHHAHAHAH LOOOL
My teacher literally "'taught" this today and said, "you're going to have a quiz on this tomorrow, so memorize it." God bless you, this was so helpful
Thanks for the help. To go the rest of the way around the circle though, instead of starting at the pinky again, start at the thumb, the thumb being 90° and count 120°, 135°, 150°, and 180°. Remember the x value is negative and the y value is positive. Now start at the pinky, the pinky being 180° and count 210°, 225°, 240°, and 270°. Remember the x value is negative and the y value is negative. Now start at the thumb, the thumb being 270° and count 300°, 315°, 330°, and 360°. Remember that the x vale is positive and the y vale is negative. Hope this helps.
thanks
I have a test in my math 112 class at Portland Community College Rock Creek campus on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 and am so glad I found this. To convert the degrees to radians, multiply the degrees by π/180.
Omg thank u so much!! U helped even more than what she helped...:)
+gibsonj338 *satisfied*
gibsonj338 i love u
Wow, you're simply amazing. You helped me out tremendously. We had to memorize the Unit Circle for my Honors Pre-Cal class. Thank you!!!!!!
+marcuscoppola3 Exact same situation!
+marcuscoppola3 what's a "pre-Cal" class? You mean "pre-calc"?
LMAO, If I looked at my hand trying to remember the unit circle, I know some dumbass TA supervising the exam will run up to me and rip up my paper without even wondering what I'm actually doing.
I have been anxiety attacks over the unit circle because I skipped precal and this video relieved so much stress... thank you so much
My mind was literally blown
no it wasn't, you could still type this comment :d
JumpScares and yet you are still typing a comment on youtube... zombie apocalypse confirmed!
From the trick or from a jump scare?
I think this is proof god exists
+Septimra preach!!
I mean sure, there's the beginning of the universe, the plants, trees, human life, and common sense that proves God but those are vague you know. But this. THIS. This seals the deal. 100% proof of God.
HAHA TRUE
I mean he's always been here ❤❤✨😊
Septimra yeah because that makes sense
Bless your soul
Probably the most useful trick I've learned in regards to math next to PEMDAS. Thank-you for this video
holy crabola. I could never remember the coordinates, but damn. that's....that's ingenious. I love you!
My daughter almost cried when she watched this. She was so stressed out about her test and I told her to UA-cam it. She scoffed but we started watching. We tried a few others that weren't helpful at all. Then we watched this and she squealed with delight! Your video is awesome. Thank you so much.
What a saint. I have a test over this tomorrow.
same
Taking my college trig final in an hour. This just saved the day.
I'm in college pre-cal and you just saved my life. You don't even know. Bless you.
The easiest thing I learned in math was remembering the unit circle by using my hand. Thanks! This just blew my mind lol. I'm learning derivatives in Calculus and now we're finding derivatives of tangent functions. I was really not looking forward to memorizing the unit circle again. It's too bad I didn't have this hand trick in my pocket back when I took Trig.
This is what finally got the unit circle to click for me. I'm in engineering math 4 differential equations now and I still watch it before every test.
I have 6 fingers and found this video very offensive.
lul jk thanks for the math help.
Just means you can fit 15°
i must say thank you...this has helped me and got me a great grade on my unit circle quiz.
OMG YOU ARE A LIFE SAVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MAY ALL STUDENTS IN TRIG AND CALC WORSHIP YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you so much. It helps me out a lot because I’m dyslexic and remembering numbers is hard do me. Thank you!!!
This has literally helped me memorize the Unit Circle for a test in math. This is the best!
being an extremely visual, kinetic learner, you have helped me so much!
This is the most genius thing I've seen!!! I have a test tomorrow and I am totally using this!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
"Always watching you wazowski, Always watching..."
Finally! This make it so much easier to remember. I just started pre-calc trig and have been struggling with this and don't know why....now if only I could memorize the trig functions and their identities >_>
Many Thanks for this initiative -- Bk my days everything was rope learned, this helps amazingly.
A building block like this aides immensely. It's no surprise Aust. has fallen from 'Top Ten' universally to under50. Arithmetic without a calculator was no diff to knowing ones ' Times Tables '!!
thank you!!! I'm in my first year of college and I was never required to memorize this in high school. This helped me out SO MUCH. THANK YOU!
This is EPIC! Wrote on my hand immediately. Been doing homework all day with this technique. Thanks!
This is great! We just had the entire HPSH math team and teachers surrounding the computer watching this. Thank you!
this is one of the most helpful things I have ever seen. I'll thank you in my graduation speech.
math is just weird...
You are the reason I am passing my test next week. Thank you.
DAMMM THAS AN AWESOME TRICK THIS WILL HELP ME FOR MY FANAL EXAM FOR THE SEMESTER
Edgar Imguanzo how did your "fanal" exam go? Where are you now in life?
I love you! Thank you for making this video! You are a life saver. Definitely sharing this with my classmates tomorrow
You definitely saved my life. You are a genius woman! I love this trick so thank you so much.
Excellent thank you! It's been two years since i took precalc in HS and we learned this and now i need it for trig in college. Thanks!
LOVE THIS!!! I can see an nice extension to help my students remember cosine and sine of special right triangles! I can also imagine watching my students use their hands during the next exam.
Thank You so very much!! I was freaking out about a test I have tomorrow on Polar because I was still having issues remembering the unit circle and this solved all my worrying!
Your a genius. Thank you so much! We have a quiz on this tomorrow for Pre Cal and this is the sure fire way to remember. After failing the first quiz she gave us all another chance so if I pass this the other grade gets replaced! 😁😁😁
I was having trouble with the Unit Circle for a test, and this video really helped so much.
This is awesome! Thank you for this neat trick! I was dreading having to memorizing the entire unit circle.
Thank you very much Ms. Pruitt! I could never completely remember until now!
this is brilliant!!! I can't believe I didn't learn this before... now I have to learn the unit circle for my college pre-calc class. I can memorize the degrees and radians, but I always have a hard time remembering cosines and sines.
this helped me so much when i was studying for my trig unit circle test the other day. I am so happy that i found it because math is not something that i am good at and i need to have little tricks like these so that i dont forget
GOD bless you! Why dont teachers present useful ways methods like this in class? Thank you so much..this is impossible to forget..
Went into this thinking it was click bait. Left a forever changed person.
OMG to this day I still have a hard time remembering the unit circle! I'm prepping for my CSET exam and this has helped so much!
MIND BLOWN OMG
Awesome! Thank you, Ms. Pruitt :) Very neat trick and clean video.
Why are the radians pi over 2,3,4,6?
God bless you, lady
thank you for helping me pass Calculus
Falling Star this comment is really old. What’s up now

now i'm not gonna fail my test tomorrow :D
thank you so much for this helpful trick!
You are scholar. Please go into my stable and take my finest horse!
95% on the trig exam thanks to this. Well I also studied the identities very well. But rest assured, whenever I needed information from the unit circle, I would use my left hand!
I love you seriously. God bless you!
This video has been a blessing
marvelous, and brilliant...... u've made it so easily for me, no more calculation.
thanks! im always tired / asleep in class due to health issues and this vid helped me catch up!
You are amazing thank you so much you are the sole reason I passed pre-calc
Thank you so much you helped me with my International baccalaureate precal class

At first I thought this is childish, but it's a really cool trick.
Lol, fortunately for most of us!!! (In reference to no extra finger after the pinky)
God bless you, angel! Sent straight from heaven!
24reamtali if she was sent straight from heaven, she would hit earth at terminal velocity and splatter on impact. I think she was born the traditional way from a womb
