I know a trick my friend made up. If you are trying to fill in a unit circle for degrees, than say, "30, 15, 15, 30, 30, 15, 15, 30." Until you are done filling it out. It would look like this on the circle: 30, 45, 60, 90, 120, 135, 150, 180, 210, 225, 240, 270, 300, 315, 330, 360. Keep adding 30 then 15 then 15 then 30 until you get to the end. Hope this helps.
Pls make a video on this trick🥲
What is the end goal in this “trick”? 🤔
@@gacalka this trick is just an easy way to write all of the degrees for the unit circle from 0 to 360.
If you fill out the radians of the circle first, then you can see what radian is equal to which degree.
@@MonkeyGoatLicker wouldn’t it also be easy to use a calculator then if it’s filling a whole table?
Wait, how are the values of the sines, cosines, and tangents of those angles obtained? By use of mind trick or a calculator?
@@gacalka this trick is used to figure the angle numbers. Look up on Google: "The Unit Circle" for a good example. If you want to find sin, cos, and tan then look at coordinates points. Example: (1/2, √3/2) or (0, 1)

Anyone else look this up for yr11 revision?
Year 10 but yeah
Ok dont be dissapointed, year 7
Well can someone explain what YR 7 10 or 11 means
In my country we use grade like grade 7 is grade 7 = yr 7
@@PyrusDrago16 Bruh we not talking bout grades,we talked about what year we are in so u are in year 11 then you are in yr 11
@@PyrusDrago16 year 10 means the grade u study in. So if u r 15 years old, you would be in year 10 (for u u call it grade 10)
This is pure gold, I can’t thank you enough 🙌🏼
Your channel deserves more respect. Thanks for this.
So, the Tangent would be the number of fingers on the right of the degree divided by the number of fingers on the left of the degree, and then the square root of that, i.e., the TAN of 60 would be sqrt (3/1); the TAN of 45 would be sqrt (2/2); the TAN of 30 would be sqrt (1/3).
awesome
This saves me so much time.... I always draw out two triangles and solve it that way. Nice trick!
It's a great trick, I'll improve it a bit before explaining to my students .Thanks for giving the idea.

Excellent. Simple way.
Very inspiring. Thank you.
This is really helpful, thank you so much 🌺
I think it would make more sense to number the fingers 0,1,2,3,4 - clockwise for cosine, counterclockwise for sine.
Then, just take the square root of that number over 2.

thanks m8 it is very helpful
Well detailed lecture. I've just started my maths UA-cam channel and hope to learn from you on how to grow it
Too amazing! Super thankful!!!!
Thanks for this, very helpful.
There are several ways to make things easier. You could remember the Sin() values in order from Sin(0) to Sin(90) as sqrt(x/4) with x varied from 0 to 4, then the Cos() would be the same values but invert their order. Afterwards Tan() is just solving Sin()/Cos().
Another way is to visualize rows for Sin() and Cos(), Sin() on top, with 30, 45 and 60 degrees as columns, then fill it left to right starting from top left "1,2,3, 3,2,1 ", divide everything by 2 and the numerators get a sqrt except for the ones with 1. You won't get values for 0 or 90 degrees but those are easy if you understand what Sin() and Cos() are on the trig circle.
2:00 sin is on the left side of the hand then, you switch it two sin is on the right instead of the left side of the hand
helped a lot, sir. Thank you.

FYI this does the whole circle, this is just the first quadrant. Only thing that changes is the signs (+ or -). If the x values are negative then the cosine is negative, and if the y values are negative than sine is negative. So figure out the quadrant and slap on the right negatives and you can do any angle not just up to 90.
@@kipskip_1203 yes it is the same other than the sign. You can put it in you calculator to double check if you need. Supplementary angles will always give you the same sin and cos just with a different sign ( + or - ) depending on the quadrant the angle ends in. For 135 degrees it is in the second quadrant so the cos will be negative because the x axis is negative, but the sin will stay the same because it is the same positive y value. 225 degrees will return the same value as well, but both sin and cos will be negative because the x and y values are negative in the bottom left quadrant.
Hats off to this guy
Thank you for this
Thanks ,cause is like my daughter we be the best in class now
You sir just saved an engineering student.
I love you. Thank you so much!!!
I saw the thumbnail of this video and I'm freaking outttttttt 😭😍. I love you
I just try to remember that cos(30) = sqrt(3)/2 is the distance on the x axis and has to be larger than cos(60) = 1/2 since 30 degrees is closer to 0 degrees and cos(0)=1
You got the last one reversed. It was 45°, so it didn't matter, but you went left for sin and right for cos.
at first i was so confused still a saw the answers were the same
Just switch hands.
