Mrs Richards: "I paid for a room with a view !" Basil: (pointing to the lovely view) "That is Torquay, Madam ." Mrs Richards: "It's not good enough!" Basil: "May I ask what you were expecting to see out of a Torquay hotel bedroom window ? Sydney Opera House, perhaps? the Hanging Gardens of Babylon? Herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically across the plains?..." Mrs Richards: "Don't be silly! I expect to be able to see the sea!" Basil: "You can see the sea, it's over there between the land and the sky." Mrs Richards: "I'm not satisfied. But I shall stay. But I expect a reduction." Basil: "Why?! Because Krakatoa's not erupting at the moment ?"
I think Rick’s joke about booking a room for a Knight was on par with the pawn channel! Anyway, this was one of the more painful episodes for Dick.......I mean Rick.
ive been blown across the room before. I technically died. all i remember was i made the weirdest noise ever. I screeched like a 12 year old girl. I didnt get resuscitated. just got lucky and my heart kicked back in.
electrocute /ɪˈlɛktrəkjuːt/ verb past tense: electrocuted; past participle: electrocuted injure or kill (someone) by electric shock. "a man was electrocuted on the rail track"
I'm not PURPOSELY trying to pick fault here but how would Rick know what Spikey looked like when up until this point he had NEVER met or seen the guy in person?
I had to look up if she was even her real mother, I thought she must have been a step-parent with her almost no interaction or intimacy of sharing/discipline/advice, that sort of thing.
@WinkLinkletter I don't know, the irony is kind of flipped more, the mother is the breadwinner in the family, her career is going well, I don't imagine Rick is bringing in much money. I think at 17 or 18 the daughter is quite independent in this. Probably a bit too emotionally mature for reality, she never seems to need any reassurance or help with anything, only money.
A coke and a packet of crisps for the lad. Cracks me up every time 😂
It's really obvious they're in front a screen for the moped scene 😂
And?
Yeah, they should definitely have had a bigger special effects budget for this.🙃
Look for cattle prod in Debenhams 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

'Wurry hippy' with this episode !

Great shows can't get enough thanks for these
It’s Paul Weller
Sounds like Joe Cocker to me.
It's Paul Weller singing a Noel Gallagher, Oasis song.

Well needed 👍👍
Brilliant
*Thanks mate for the upload ....but what is going on ? A WHY 4:3 format ? 😐 ....can you reupload please in 16:9* thanks
Watch the pawn and bash the bishop
Must've been a couple of stale mates in Hastings, I thought.
Wrong aspect ratio used on the upload. Should be 16:9 not 4:3.

Sounds like you've got the makings of a hit record there !
26:08 Not electrocuted as that means the person died.
electrocute
/ɪˈlɛktrəkjuːt/
verb
past tense: electrocuted; past participle: electrocuted
injure or kill (someone) by electric shock.
"a man was electrocuted on the rail track"
Er... how does it?
I'm not PURPOSELY trying to pick fault here but how would Rick know what Spikey looked like when up until this point he had NEVER met or seen the guy in person?
He had met him in person, just not in the show. Why do you assume he hadn't met him?
Fix the aspect ratio please, it's not complicated.
The Micheal character is tedious in this series. Should have binned him and developed Spikey.
We meet spike…. I don’t like him either.
It doesn't seem that viewers have noticed how superficial the relationship is between mother and daughter in this series.
I had to look up if she was even her real mother, I thought she must have been a step-parent with her almost no interaction or intimacy of sharing/discipline/advice, that sort of thing.

I'm with Rick. The play was a fucking bore!
