    Thank you Robert.
    It's been almost a year since I managed to acquire a second hand iPad with Procreate but never got into digital sketching so felt like my purchase was a waste. This quick intro achieving very nice feeling digital brushes hopefully will get me more interested producing more of digital artwork!

      I really hope these little tweaks to the brush will help because the iPad is an awesome tool and it would be a shame for you not to use it because of the lacking tools.

    Wow. Thank you so much for this brush. I hate the default ones to sketch and this was amazing. I just swapped out the oval for round ust because i wanted a bit more consistency

    You should do something about the heavy reverb in your videos. I can really hear you live in an older building with high rooms.

      Yes, it is a high seeling indeed, the problem is mostly with my camera mic, when I do voice over I have a better mic but I can't always carry that with me. I will try and fix the camera mic issue though somehow.

      Sadly i mostly use these apps for sketching and not sure I would now how to achieve the exact effect you are looking for, but I'm sure you can buy some watercolor brushes somewhere.

    hi there, can you tell me where i can find the different shaped tips like the oval one you used to create your pencil?

    • @robertlkiss
      @robertlkiss  2 роки тому

      Under the shape option, tap edit shape source, then import, then source library.

    Hey there...im new to procreate...i created the first brush but trying to emulate your brush size and opacity it doesnt seems like im getting similar results... I need to put both at 100% to even see a propper line...any ideas?

    • @robertlkiss
      @robertlkiss  4 роки тому

      Oh that is peculiar, that should not happen because it should take the size and opacity from the standard 6B brush, which is not small or see-through. Not sure I know what went wrong there. I very quickly duplicated the 6B again and changed the shape to the oval and under Grain, I set Movement, Scale, and Zoom on 0. Check if that works for you.
