We’ve enjoyed your Alaska trip. My family moved from Anchorage to the Seattle area in February 1958 (I was 12) by driving down on the AlCan Highway. One memorable trip and it has been great seeing some of places we passed through and the changes. BTW whole road was snow, ice, and dirt roads. Our vehicle was a 1954 Jeep Wagon with a 12 ft aluminum boat on top.

Hoping to make the trek North to Alaska one day with our 4 kids and let them see how amazing it is!! Now that we are Fulltime we are closer to making that a reality!

Was there end of June. My brother lives at Palmer, so that was our base for exploring. You've gone to many places I was at this summer!

Pyrah's would be a highlight for me. I bet those veggies were delicious. Both of these boondocking sites were very pretty. Prettier than many of the pay sites I have seen. The musk ox farm is cool. I hate to admit that I had never heard of them until Kevin and Laura's video. I saw that you got to see the Northern Lights. Now I am truly envious of your trip up there this year. The Northern Lights have always been the only thing that drew me to Alaska. I am looking forward to that video.

That mountain view from the Pyrah’s u-pick farm is so familiar to me. Years ago we picked veggies and dug for potatoes at that farm. You would have driven past Eagle River, where we used to live, on the way to Anchorage. Miss that place a lot...lived there 13 years. Looking forward to seeing your videos from the Anchorage area.

Paul somebody had to be a camera man. The potatoes are so good fresh from the ground. I didn't see any but green beans and peas are very sweet. Carrots are awesome. Didn't see them either. Cool cool idea. Great views. Thanks for sharing. ByeBye

Pampered!? That's hilarious! I grew up on a farm in Canada. Milked cows from my early teens, baled hay and did all the farm stuff. Sometimes you have to figure out if I'm being serious or just pulling everyone's chain. Lol!

@@LifeWithPaulLorena Had to watch the video again to clarify..it was the point in the video when you said you didnt know why you had to pick stuff and usually just go to the grocery store grab stuff off the shelf...or how to cut it etc..approx 6:02 mins in the video...less fun the shopping?...that was my point I guess..which after your comment back about working on a farm..doesnt make sense.

There are about 130,00 bears in Alaska. Trust me, where ever you venture in Alaska, a bear is not far away. Trust me, bears know where the salmon are. I commerical fished for halibut in the Cook Inlet. Halibut is a bottom fish, they do not approach shallow water along the shoreline. The fish you see along the shore are a late run of salmon. Your Alaska trip is making me homesick.
