Re: Terry Fox Run … Terry Fox IS A Canadian Hero. At 18 in the 1970’s he lost his leg to cancer. He resolved to run a marathon across Canada to raise money for cancer. In Thunder Bay his quest ended when the cancer resurfaced. He died June 1981. I am Thoroughly moved to see he is continually remembered & honoured even in Tuktoyactuk! Bless…
At that moment when the lady told us about the Terry Fox run, we did not know who he was but he's truly an inspiration to be able to unite a country as he has for 40+ years. Wow! What an impact and to see so many get out and celebrate his achievement is truly remarkable. ❤
Its never the end, just the beginning of another adventure. I have thoroughly enjoyed every single video and especially all the puns. 😀. So many viewers, including myself, can only live vicariously through videos like yours. Safe Travels and cannot wait to see what comes next.
So glad that you are both safe and off the Dempster. I love, love, loved the beautiful music you picked for the end. Such gorgeousness I. Your videos and photos. As also, thanks for taking us along and sharing your adventures with us. I know it takes a lot of time to get everything ready to release. May god continue to bless both of you and your family. See you next week.
Welcome back to the lower 48! I LOVED ALL your Alaska videos! You guys did a great job with your footage, narration and music! Thanks for taking us along for this amazing adventure, I felt like I was right there with you!!
Sewage Lagoon....that broke my heart seeing that. I'm not some green peace warrior by any means but seeing a body of water where people dump sewage just made me ill.
I was taken aback by it, I must admit. Not a hardcore environmental type but I appreciate nature and this threw me for a loop...especially in the Arctic tundra!
Enjoyed every second of this northern adventure. So glad you were able to make it back up north to camp beside the Arctic Ocean. Thanks for sharing!!! Will never beat the incredible scenery. Yup beat feet to warmer weather!!
There is two kinds of people that come to Alaska, Those that love the hardship, the beauty and the experiences! The other kind? Those that can't wait to leave! Glad you took your time to enjoy the northern territories and Alaska. Thanks for the ride along.
We love the last frontier and will be back. It was quite a journey but really let us see the state and get out into a little bit of the wilderness. Thank you. 😃
My husband and I enjoyed every minute of your Alaskan Rv trip! Best Footage of Alaska I have ever seen from Any you tuber !! What a great job you did on capturing the beauty of Alaska… and the great wild life we were amazed each week!! Thanks for allot your hard work!!
Wow! Thank you so much, Loretta. That is a huge compliment and we really appreciate it. Glad you enjoyed it and excited to have you along as we begin our next travel adventure in the lower 48... after we get out of Canada!

@@bigtruckbigtravels I have another year or two then plan to head out on the road. That super duty is a nice rig. Are you guys keeping it back in the lower 48 or moving back into the other rig? Or is that another episode?
@blippacg 😆another episode but we're going to move back into our 5th wheel home and store the Class C at our daughter's place. We'll travel for the next year in the big rig.
I so enjoy your videos. We rv’d for 10 years in a class A pusher. However we didn’t get to make our dream trip to Alaska due to health issues but your sharing your trip on UA-cam has really been a great substitute. Love it! We have been to many of the Lower 48 that you have visited. Brings back so many great memories. Thanks for the videos. They’re the best out there!!!
Wow, what a great video! Just another one in the series! Real indication that the season ends at the end of August--glad you were able to get up to the Arctic in early September. Save travels!

Great to see uour video. We drove the Dempster this summer in time to get to Tuk for the solstice. The shore "campground" was full of visitors from as far away as Germany and Switzerland. Oh, the mud in the rain, the potholes that weren't there a week earlier, and an expanse of scenery like nowhere else on earth.
Thank you so much, Sheila. Oh, there'll be more. We have a whole 2024 that will be pretty interesting with a lot of neat areas to visit and explore...all in the Big Rig.
A few years ago after a paddling trip down the Mackenzie river (and several tributaries) from Summit lake just north of Prince George to Tuktoyaktuk on the Arctic ocean, I hitchhiked back south on the Dempster hwy from Inuvik to Dawson City. Awesome high latitude scenery. Ever since, I've been wanting to go back up there on a bicycle tour. I met a couple while I was in Dawson City who were bicycle touring Canada and headed that way.
Oh wow! That's quite the trip! I'll bet the scenery was amazing. We saw lots of bicycle tours but none on the Dempster. Probably too late in the season.

Watching your videos remind me of my trip. I drove up to the Arctic Ocean end of August 2023, it was beautiful. I did Dawson city to Tuk and back in 4 days! Lol. Had to get back to work. I spent 6 weeks in the Yukon loved it.
