I bought a biochef vacuum blender awhile back and the carafe broke in 2 separate places. I tried contacting the company to get the carafe replaced, as it was under warranty, but they never got back to me. Then I heard that they are out of business. I wouldn't recommend buying the carafe bc it isn't made of quality plastic like the Vitamix.
I still have the vacuum part and wanna try putting it over my Vitamix. What is the silicone that you put over the blender top called and is IKEA the only place to find it?
Awww I am so sorry to hear! I have the carafe too but it doesn’t work on my acent series vitamix so I’m using this trick. Is your vitamix the one like mine with the clear hard plastic top? Ohh I don’t recall the name but it’s a basic silicone stretch lid cover, I got this one a ikea and have gotten other ones from Amazon as well :) this is a new one so not sure how long it will last, I’ve went through 3 of the Amazon basic silicone ones in the last year. @@TheRawAdvantage it's a black lid with a clear hard plastic center piece that you can remove.
@ThisRawLife the silicone stretch lid seal will help with that and the biochef pump should fit, I haven’t tried with that one in this way to be honest tho, I made this other video with a hand pump for the black lids, merging the two may work best, let me know what you find ua-cam.com/video/qzwegrkwAUA/v-deo.htmlsi=YTYlf7L9UUwCyy2D
Does the bio vacuum fit the vitamix 5200?
I haven’t actually gotten to try it, I did however make this other video on making the black lid vitamixes vacuum with a hand pump therawadvantage.com/diy-vitamix-vacuum-blender-hack-cheapest-and-easiest/
As an aside it seems it’s next to impossible to find the bio vacuum by itself without a full blender or carafe. If you find one let me know🤗
