You made my morning brighter Shaun, THANK YOU! YEARS AGO in the 80's i rode ANY AND EVERY RIDE THAT MOVED, now that I have a severe bone disease I come to tears when my kids want me to ride with them and i can't...You may not KNOW JUST HOW MUCH YOU HAVE HELPED ME go through this, and I LIVE through the eyes of my kids and the HAPPINESS IT GIVES US ALL TO SEE THEIR HAPPY FACES when MOM(ME) takes them to almost EVERY CARNIVAL OR THEMEPARK here in the States!!! LOVE ALL OF YOU AT THEME PARK WORLDWIDE!!! Bless You Shaun!!!
Out of all of the rides I've ever been on, nothing can beat the sound of the lift hill on Rollercoaster. Literally such an amazing sound. I also love the smell in the station. That might sound mad, but it just brings back so many memories, haha.
This was my first ever roller coaster. My folks used to take me and my brother on summer holiday trips to Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft. It’s changed a lot but that roller coaster is classic. Bringing back memories here, thanks for the content as always.
Another great vlog at another of my childhood parks. We always went to Norfolk or Lincs on holiday, so Great Yarmouth was always a highlight. I really must go back. We used to love the rollercoaster. I was always convinced I’d hit my head on that drop under the cross beams and Caterpillar was a family fave. Fantastic!
I like seeing all these different park videos.. My home one is Six Flags America (40 minutes away from me). Also interesting that Roller Coaster has a brakeman on it
fun house use to have lots of dirty pictures all inside.. it's much more family friendly now lol. What i love about those dodgems is the very old Simpsons posters.. wonderful stuff
I’ve been to pleasure wood hills and Great Yarmouth pleasure beach every year for 10 years, it’s honestly like my second home. It’s a 6hour drive though sadly
UA-cam: *recommends this video* Me: I live about 5 minutes away from there UA-cam: *creepily whispers in ear* we knowwwwww Me:... I’m excited for Great Yarmouth,I’m going from this Saturday to next Saturday. Thank you so much for making me excited!Like I’ve never been on the rollercoaster since I’m 10 but I’m going on it this year I am so excited! 👍 👍 👍 🎢 🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢
Rollercoaster was my 1st ever roller-coaster i went on as a 6 year old 44 years ago . Has to be said that coaster got me hooked on them 200+ coasters later
I remember a ride that used to be there called Condor, Must've been about 1990 . It used to go up proper high and you could see for miles, Never did find out what happened to it. Great video!
Old woodies with brakemen are the best, my home park Linnanmäki has one from 1951, it's basically Rutschebanen from Bakken but it's a taller and longer version, wicked airtime. Of course you'll get to ride it later this year.
Daughter has been riding rollercoaster since she was 2 as no minimum height restriction only over 90cm to be unaccompanied she loves it and can't wait to grow tall enough to go on the other bigger rides. She's very short g or 6 year old. Season ticket holders will be going lots this year.
I usually have a vacation here at Great Yarmouth, a 2 week one that is. We stay at a caravan site down by the beach, it's called Seashore Holiday Park. I heavily recommend it. I sure do remember going on the sky drop, really good that one was was.
This is my local park and honestly when you live near here you find you yourself coming here , the roller coaster is so worth it along with all the other rides
It was so funny to hear Shawn's reactions on the Reverse ride and Mulan! Also, the afternoon sunlight on Roller Coaster was pretty! I hope to see y'all on the Drayton Manor vlog in the future!💙💙🎢🌅.
I have friends who live near the Pleasure Beach and they hate it (especially when the park is open until 10pm!) it's a high crime area and the noise levels are insane during the summer.
YES, THIS PLACE WAS AMAZING! I loved coming here and me and my cousin went on a ride and were doing the lion king theme song on whirlwind XD, it was really funny it was so great and the rides aren’t bumpy they are so smooth and enjoyable!
Cracking gromit almost blackpool pleasure beach . Lovely vlog needs some investment and I hope you come down again try the premium Inn and the casino when it's built
I remember riding the big Coaster with my dad circa 72 or 73. I thought it was the best thing ever, back then. I never did like the repaint to that Americanized theme though. Back then, it had a very scenic mountain landscape paint job. I also loved "The Ark" which used to exist right nearby, and which I spent many hours in during holidays. Do you happen to know if those Tyrolean Tubs were the only Viriginia Reel type ride ever to have existed in or around Great Yarmouth, or whether there was another around at the time? I seem to remember there being more greenery on the ride I was on, and the tubs maybe being in water, even? But this may be false memory. Loved the snails as a kid too. Looks like the original track layout?
@@ThemeParkWorldwide you're welcome. By the way, the following video (not mine) from 0:00 to about 1:45 shows what the Coaster looked like in the early 70s when I rode it, and also shows The Ark :) ua-cam.com/video/syFm-hpZkuY/v-deo.html
Great vlog as per usual! The ghost train looks fab! Can't wait to ride it over and over and over again haha! Where do you stay when you do a weekend trip to Great Yarmouth? I wanted to do a weekend trip and wanted to stay somewhere reasonably priced :D Next time you go you should visit the seafront "Hollywood adventure golf" indoor golf course with the massive windmill on it! I think you'd enjoy the cheesiness of it (it was an odditorium then a strange waxworks now an indoor golf) It used to be a beautiful theater and you can still see remnants of it, I think you'd enjoy it!
Thank you for this video I was searching for one on Great Yarmouth pleasure beach as going here in a few weeks, to be honest it does looks a bit basic so am hoping it's gonna be enough for a day out!
They used to have an identical ride to this at Barry Island. I went on it twice when I was 10 and loved it so I must get to Great Yarmouth one day and ride this one. It's a pity this one no longer has the plaster effect scenary anymore. Those metal sheets look a bit cheap. Maybe one day they will restore the ride to its original glory.
Aww shawn love it riding my first ever rollercoaster when I was 7 years old went on with my mum and dad together in one seat lol . Such a great ride and funfair childhood memories. Thank you x
I appreciate your enthusiasm for visiting my town, it’s just a shame the Pleasure Beach has lost its appeal over the years, it used to be a fun place to go, but they lack in the upkeep of the place, of lot of the park is starting to look old.
the new ride was supposed to be installed where go karts is but paperwork was messed up , expect something new later on on season, the season pass is a good offer
I beg you invest in a 360° camera and release little one off povs on parks that allow them. I'd love that. love the channel and can't wait for the new season of planet coaster and the America road trip 😁🤞
Great enthusiasm, but he failed to mention the only Nelson's Column monument outside of London right in front of him!! He was more interested in the Premier Inn! You used to be able to climb the column via an inside staircase.

Thank you for watching, we're glad that you enjoy watching
It is literally somebodies job to ride the wooden coaster all day, must get a bit exhausting but fun for a while!
It would be awesome though!
Kyle Bridges It would be awesome, but you swap on and off each ride 🤣
Kyle Bridges The roller coaster is it’s so much fun I’ve been on it 18 times
I have a question have u been on that
Nice to see your enthusiasm and enjoyment its infectious, another hour gone thank you Shawn 👍🎢👍🎢
Thank you for watching Colin

Coming up the the big drop is something else. “Readyy? Ready? WOOOOO”
Out of all of the rides I've ever been on, nothing can beat the sound of the lift hill on Rollercoaster. Literally such an amazing sound. I also love the smell in the station. That might sound mad, but it just brings back so many memories, haha.

Fun. Good weather. Well maintained rides and smooth operations. Iconic views. All boxes seemingly checked, and yet... no goats.
Great Yarmouth pleasure beach is one of the first theme parks I went to when I was three years old. I loved it
Another great vlog at another of my childhood parks. We always went to Norfolk or Lincs on holiday, so Great Yarmouth was always a highlight. I really must go back.
We used to love the rollercoaster. I was always convinced I’d hit my head on that drop under the cross beams and Caterpillar was a family fave. Fantastic!

They’ve really improved the ghost train at Blackpool pleasure beach as well
I like seeing all these different park videos..
The one and only roller coaster I've ever been on. 33 years ago and completely by accident. Thanks for posting
Yay! My home - ish park; It's Pleasurewood Hills or Pleasure Beach..
@@yarmyTV East Norfolk.
Thanks for watching!
Wow thanks for coming to great Yarmouth (cause I live here) great to see big UA-camrs visiting a small town in Britain
Love these parks on the coast. Just such an awesome view.
that lift hill on the spinning wild mouse looks like something in rct2 when you're making a lift but you run into the park border
Always stayed at the haven park, Seashore, up the road every year until I was about 17, absolutely love Great Yarmouth! Loved the vlogs from here 😊 x
I loved the ghost train, the snails, apple coaster, carousel. xx
I’ve been to pleasure wood hills and Great Yarmouth pleasure beach every year for 10 years, it’s honestly like my second home. It’s a 6hour drive though sadly
The roller coaster is now my favourite rides at great yarmouth pleasure beach
Glad to see the place looking so fresh. The refurbished ghost train looks better.

Love the yearly yarmouth vlog as its my home town. I'm in the midlands now as well but will visit when I go and see family in the summer!
I keep thinking your walking when your on a ride. Also the signage on Rollercoaster is also like the signage on Rita
I really love your great Yarmouth videos
Rollercoaster was my 1st ever roller-coaster i went on as a 6 year old 44 years ago . Has to be said that coaster got me hooked on them 200+ coasters later

Omg I love Sky drop rollercoaster disco whirlwind and twister!
That Premier Inn is in a perfect position - definitely staying there in the near future!

This brings back memories, this was the first roller coaster I rode back in 1973 and I’m sure it went a lot faster than that.
Peter Trott it looks pretty slow but I’ve been on it quite recently. It’s just as fast. :)
I usually have a vacation here at Great Yarmouth, a 2 week one that is. We stay at a caravan site down by the beach, it's called Seashore Holiday Park. I heavily recommend it. I sure do remember going on the sky drop, really good that one was was.
I’d love to live in one of those houses, this park is a bucket list for me. Fab vlog lads
You would love it Mark

Another great video Shawn. You rock!
Each day I’m bored then I come to watch your videos then I’m not bored
Thank you
That ride is doing good for his age
Each day Pleasure Beach has a different colour wristband and some people reused them (hence why they induced the 'hand stamps').
I miss thisssss I'm supposed to be going on holiday near here later in the year and I reallllyyyy hope I can go 🥺 Brilliant video 👍🏻
love these as I live in Norwich not too far away so always love watching the areas that I know!!! xxxxx
I have friends who live near the Pleasure Beach and they hate it (especially when the park is open until 10pm!) it's a high crime area and the noise levels are insane during the summer.
