.000153 percent mortality for the population.. That's less than the number of Vietnamese citizens that died laughing over the same period. Taking into account that about 99.9 percent of all deaths attributed to covid are purposefully , fraudulently misdiagnosed, I thank you for this pointless and likely false information. Keep up the good work, "journalists". Wink wink nudge nudge.

I lived in Vietnam during the time of the outbreak. They closed schools at the start of February when students were set to return from their 2 week lunar New year holiday. Many Western countries didn't close schools for nearly another 2 months. Vietnam was more proactive and responded quicker to minimize spread. Government and citizens took it seriously. Before the mandatory lockdown and isolation took place, I had Vietnamese friends say things like, "I'm going to stay home to help protect my country." Different mentalities compared to certain other people in the world.

what is seriously baffling is how so many other countries who got a handle on this virus actually used the United state's pandemic playbook and it worked. The US has spent decades traveling the world and teaching and working with other countries and giving them the resources to fight diseases and viruses. They all did what was right because they took it seriously. The US has done horrible because our leadership under trump was awful! Some of the first things trump defunded when he became president was almost all of our scientific research and climate change as well. He wanted to stop funding them because he said it was pointless qnd stupid. And instead he used tnat funding for other shit thats not that important! I blame trump 100% for the 500k+ lost lives due to covid! Hes an idiot!

I now live in Vietnam and have been here for almost 10 years, the Vietnamese are hard tough people, yet share their meals with old infirm neighbors. You often see a child nipping to a neighbors house with a bowl of soup, rice veg and fish, just another bowl is nothing to them but is gratefully received. The act is felt as normal not special.

To those who think this news is fake and our numbers are false...As a Vietnamese person living in Hanoi, I simply know everything said in this piece is true, why? Because during the lockdown we didn't see hospitals, cemetaries cramped with patients and death bodies, groceries and food were still stocked up in stores, people were calm and supportive to one another and to the government, we tried to make the lockdown time a family get-together. I had to go to the hospital twice and it was even less busier and more organized than normal time because people avoided going there. All my family, parents and friends are safe and healthy, I haven't heard about anyone I know being sick or dead of the virus. And now we are back in normal life, I've been on a holiday to a beautiful beach town and am planning to go on another holiday next month (inside the country of course). I sometimes even forget that in some other places in the world things are still going crazy and chaotic and people are still debating about whether or not to wear a mask, unbelievable!

They learned from the Chinese in how to hack and steal other nations' test kit technology and electronics technology and asking other nations for test kits to save Vietnamese people, but then handing them out to other nations, relabeling it like it is their own for diplomacy points. Like how Chief Ghebreyesus of WHO did with relief funds when he used to be the Minister of Health in corrupt dictatorship for Ethiopia during the Cholera epidemic there.

Also, despite the anti-Chinese sentiment among civilians, the government has profited immensely from helping China sidestep trade sanctions by importing Chinese goods, then stamping "Made in Vietnam" over them and selling it to the West.

Only fools believe the Vietnamese. Just like China, you can't take your money out of Vietnam once you invest in there, and nobody gets to own land, but get 50 year leases at max, which can be taken away or your business can get a lot of red tape and the government ignores foreigners when they try to bring thieving Vietnamese scammers to court. Just like China, this country is not ruled by law but by the capricious greedy whims of the Party.

Remember the Hue Massacre! 4000 raped and murdered by North Vietnamese communists!
The "worst" American massacre was just My Lai with 600 dead with no rape. And idiots think North Vietnamese were angels.

And after the reunification in 1976, there was a huge political purge with 900,000 victims of rape, murder, imprisonment, and pillaging in the name of communism. Then they go invade Cambodia and then get invaded by China in 1979. To this day, Southern regions and Northern regions have bad blood between them because of the bloody ideological purge.

I am an American living in Vietnam for the last 5 years. We locked down for a couple of months (Feb and March) and wore masks when we were out. We went back to masks for 2 weeks in May. I live in the south, and aside from these two periods, for the most part Covid is just not on our radar. We also have the advantage of knowing that if we need to be aware and take precautions, we will be timely advised.
In my opinion, though, it is the Vietnamese people who don't get enough credit. Granted, masks in Asia are not uncommon, but everyone masked up religiously to protect EACH OTHER. These are wonderful people, and it's a wonderful, beautiful country.
I considered returning to the States at first, worried that a large pandemic could easily overwhelm the healthcare system here. And I was afraid I might end up in a local hospital, which, to be generous, is nothing like First World hospitals (bring your own soap, towels, food, and someone to take care of you). The "foreigner hospitals, however are quite good...just out of reach financially for the general population. But when travel shut down, I was stuck here in what has turned out to be one of the few "safe" places on the planet. Covid wouldn't even cross my mind most days if it weren't for CNN.

For people who doubt about Vietnam's report:
-First, as you known, we are developing country, and we also part of one of the slowest GDP increase in the world: South East Asia. That's why we know that if there were thousands or hundreds of thousands of cases in Vietnam, there wouldn't be enough doctors and nurses, and medical equipment wouldn't enough to handle that much pressure and soon would break. Hospitals would be overload that if we have just a headache, we couldn't do anything but sit in the house and use temporary remedies because the would be no room for us.
-Second, we people, maybe even the goverment never fully trust China. They used to invade our country for 1000 years. and now, they even trying to take our archipelagos named Hoang Sa and Truong Sa or Paracel Islands and Spratly. So when we heard that China have about 3000 cases, we right away thought maybe they're covering the real cases, maybe there're more than 3000 or even more than 3 millions cases.
-Third, we citizen have experience from many diseases from the past like SARS, so we know how dangerous it would be if the virus spread.
-Fourth, also citizen have trust in the goverment and always ready to follow the goverment's instruction. We also care about the community safety and other people's life. So if other countries look at Covid19 as pandemic or even just a normal flu, we look at Covid19 as enemy, just like with USA in the past when they tried to invade us, and declare war with the virus. That's why not only the Ministry of Health, even the Ministry of Defence also included, that means not only doctors, nurses but also soldiers were taken part.

She asked the people who are in charged whether they would allow her to go back to see her dad for the last time, promised that she will wear all the protected gears, and being supervised, then she will come back to the camp. Seems like they said no and she stayed there strictly until we all get released. So you can see how the Vietnamese gov took this thing seriously enough! The only way that the north would have been defeated would have been total war and occupation of the north, destruction of all cities and military assets. Destroying a people to save them was not in the U.N. charter. It was feared that Chinese troops would become involved if the north was occupied by ground troops. Now, China has disputes against Vietnam, especially regarding the Mekong river - which the CCP has dammed. I'm an English teacher living in Ha Long Bay North Vietnam. I can tell you that these are amongst the friendliest people in the world. There is a spirit of family here that binds them all together but it doesn't stop there. I'm a foreigner and most of the people I know have adopted me as well. Concerning the virus, I think we all watched as the other governments of the world acknowledged the danger of the virus but also began to use it as a political tool. However, I have observed that the Vietnamese government works overtime to identified the infected only and after isolating them and treating them, they also take good care of them. Businesses will close upon the order of the government only when a danger exists. However they do not abuse this power for political gain. As soon as the coast is clear they open up so that the people are not burdened unnecessarily. I will also say this. The Vietnamese people seem to genuinely trust that their government cares about them and there is a trust between them and the people. I'm 55 years old and have high blood pressure so I am in a high risk category. I would like to go home to the United States for a visit again, but know full well that to stay in Vietnam for the time being is much safer for me. So I'm riding out the covid storm here. Besides, I absolutely love it here. I like this video because all that she has said is true. I have never seen any country try harder to reconnect with the rest of the world than Vietnam. The Vietnam War happened over 40 years ago and I sincerely hope that people will stop attaching the word war with Vietnam. They are enjoying a time of peace and reaching out with open arms. They are saying here we are, we want to join you. We want to work on the stabilization of peace together. So, I'm in. The Vietnamese culture is over 1000 years old. There is much we can learn from it. Their sense of community is strong and the whole nation works on its problems together. As an English teacher, I feel like I am giving a lot of them a way to connect with the world. It is an honor to do so.

@@Kylelongwest The Cambodian government imposed the least strict lockdown in developing Asia. I'm surprised actually, given that Hun Sen is widely considered a freedom hating dictator. Yet his lockdown was much less severe than Thailand's, Myanmar or Vietnam.
My guess is because of how poor Cambodia is. They don't have the resources to enforce mask wearing in all public places or quarantine countless numbers of people. Vietnam does, to a much greater extent than Cambodia anyway.

MAGNESIUM CHLORIDE FLAKES HELPS ERADICATE THE CORONA VIRUS AND BUILD IMMUNE SYSTEM Magnesium CHLORIDE CRYSTAL BY ANCIENT MINERALS.. Magnesium has a strong relation with the immune system, in both nonspecific and specific immune response, also known as innate and acquired immune response. Dr. Raul Vergini says, “Magnesium chloride has a unique healing power on acute viral and bacterial diseases. It cured polio and diphtheria and that was the main subject of my magnesium book. A few grams of magnesium chloride every few hours will clear nearly all acute illnesses. I have seen a lot of flu cases healed in 24-48 hours with 3 grams of magnesium chloride taken every 6-8 hours.” Dr. Vergini wrote, “I was looking for a solution to cleanse wounds, because Dr. Delbet had found out that the traditional antiseptic solutions actually mortified tissues and facilitated the infection instead of preventing it. He tested several mineral solutions and discovered that a magnesium chloride has a great effect over leukocytic activity (Increases leucocytes to fight infection) and phagocytosis; so it was perfect for external wounds treatment.” In 1915, a French surgeon, Prof. Pierre Delbet, M.D wrote, “From a practical standpoint, please remember that only magnesium CHLORIDE-and no other magnesium salt-has this ‘cytophylactic’ activity. The solution to be used is a 2.5% magnesium chloride hexahydrate (MgCl2-6H2O) solution (i.e. 25 grams in 1 liter of water) Show less REPLY drsircus.com/general/dosages-and-treatments-for-coronavirus-infections/?fbclid=IwAR317ocZ45eduGpT7uoq225hW0smUQLi1cbgbun-iLc3oCnJynIf1x7H_XU

Mongolia has done a great job, not taking any credit from them. But it's a huge country with the population of less than half of Hanoi. According to worldometers, they have density of 2 people/ square km. Vietnam has over 30 times the population, and over 150 times the density. From the epic center of covid 19 in Hanoi, I have to say that they did an incredible job.

Yes...Mongolia.....The country with a population that is 1% the size of the US, has only one 1/2 scale big city, and is mostly open wilderness... That's like saying a nearly deserted island had been successful in fighting covid...They don't have a real population, whatever population they have is spread out, and there are not many reason for foreigners to visit.... Your point is not only mute, but it's stupid....Did you know Antarctica dose not have covid yet? (sic)
