Once upon a time I was 10 years old in the desert of Palmyra, Syria I witnessed a very strong thunderstorm which of course made us happy you’ll understand that if you grew up in the desert, then I was standing half of my body indoor and half outside it was a bit scary and suddenly a 2 giant Birds appeared in the sky in they had the most amazing colors of white, brown, yellow and their head feathers was blue I was terrified and amazed in the same time i will never forget that day especially how magical and elegant they were i just wanted to share it bc the thunderbird story brought back how it felt like

That's exactly what I was thinking about: a bunch of exceptionally tall redheads from Scotland and Ireland, perceived by the Natives as non-human humanoid giants.
Old James T. Kirk narrating this in his unusual, relaxed style is a plus. William also positively surprised me with his voice work in the latest season of Masters of the Universe on Netflix.
Shatner used to do tons of voice work on everything from true crime/mystery shows, to early pre cable shows like this. His voice has aged like whiskey, getting smoother and more rich.

I saw one of the skulls in Virginia City, Nevada in 1991. The skull was in an old display case next to a normal human skull. The Lovelock cave skull was at least twice as big as the normal sized human skull.
It says in the bible...there were giants in those days...the sons of god mated with the daughters of man...and they were giants called the Nephilim or fallen ones. I dont see how that can be interpreted any other way... Funny how humans cherry pick the parts they want to believe and completely ignore the parts they dont.
Ive been to Lovelock Cave. There is still evidence of there being a fire at the entrance of the cave. I also found a gigantic footprint in caliche a few miles from the cave.
Caliche is what West Texas roads use to be paved with in the 50s and 60s. I've driven on many a chalky white caliche road and have even climbed around the walls of caliche strip mines. It's a really hard sedamentary rock formed over millions of years of layering. Do you suppose that giants were maybe there already when the first human migration to the area took place? That's about the only possible way I can imagine that footprints could be found in caliche.
I think those giants were THE natives of America and were genocided by what is now called "native" Americans.... I read that some tribes admit stalking and killing these giants

I'm 4 hours away from Tombstone and when I was a kid I saw a giant orange looking bird flying in the sky at night. Don't know what it was but I'll always remember it.
The way the Thunderbird beaks are depicted on totems and images, they look a lot like the heads/beaks of the California condors. Maybe they were related? Condors have a 10' wingspan...imagine the shadows they cast flying over your head!
Easy for me to see, that this "giant bird" was one of the world's last surviving dinosaurs, the Pterodactyl. As a child, the stories that were read and the tales re-told from my ancestors, gave me a firm belief that this strange flying animal, which was described in our science books, was indeed, the "Thunder Bird." This symbol can be found in many tribes & cultures. It just made good sense to me, even as a young child.
Honestly, this makes my beliefs even more believable .. for me, tho, 😂 I believe dinosaurs (not all of them, of course) lived with humans, humans made them go extinct and also the climate change , humans made the dodo bird go extinct, we make a lot of animals go extinct.... If you look up historical drawings on rocks and some pottery, walls, etc. You will see drawings of dinosaurs, I believe the people back then drew what they saw, what they went through, and also the stories they've heard . Even the bible mentions dragons. But some dinosaurs did look like dragons back then. The word dinosaur didn't exist back then,They probably gave them the name dragon..

As an artist myself, I like to examine these interesting inexplicable anomalies with an artistic way of seeing, which scientists usually interpret differently. Monoliths and iron spheres were the ideas of a creative person: they are called land art. I respect whoever came up with this because it's a brilliant idea. They used a special material that did not fit in with the environment, they chose such a simple form that we question its function, thereby asking the other questions: how did it get here? Why? who put it there? What is its purpose? Why is this your material? Who would have taken the trouble to put this monolith far away from civilization and on what purpose? And that was the point. With this, the anonymous creator achieved his goal and became famous. I think the same about the "giant bird". A creative person - or people - manipulated the photo for fun, or created the creature in real life in such a way that the world cannot decide what the truth is, since everything that was taken a long time ago and that we think is inexplicable, we believe that it is impossible, and that's why we start assuming a lot of things that have nothing to do with reality. Humanity's biggest mistake is to overthink everything, and with today's advanced technology, we examine everything instead of stooping to their level and trying to create something from scratch. We want to give everything an exaggerated meaning, even though someone may have woken up one day and said: let's do something special today that people will remember.

There is a story in a place called Datia in central India about a giant bird. That was killed by the king in South Africa or Andmans where he was exiled by the British in late 1800s. Local elders used to claim having seen it's head which he brought back with him on return. Worth exploring

Jaw bone large enough to fit around a mans face like that of a football helmet faceguard, so said a local Permian Basin rancher in the 1960's. The rancher was talking to my neighbor, an oilfield driller, about the native tribes and the salt lick when the story came into the conversation. He said he was 'kicking around" a native american salt lick after a heavy rain looking for artifacts when discovered the bone. He called Univ of TX. They came looked around then took the bone back to the Univ. As usual it does not prove anything, but it is a good story.

Those pterodactyl pics are scary real. Look at the blood coming out of it's nose and mouth. A small but important detail. How did these men know what a pterodactyl looked like to construct it. Nobody had seen one.
I'm from Afghanistan & Giants of Kandahar has always been a myth there in old stories. It's been said that American's while in Kandahar province did have an encounter with them but residents said they weren't allowed to the area at that time. What actually happened? Nobody knows.
That area I believe the giants were there based on research. The thing is giants exist today . The ancient descriptions were average height mens heads went to their waist. You can find that today all over the place on that side of the world. Just my theory .
I saw the picture, of the tombstone thunderbird. An the way I remember it, is, that the barn, was more of a shanty, big enough to house a model t. And the bird, looked like a giant vulture, with a jagged beak. Like saw tooth. An it was just two guys, standing on each side of its wings. This was in about 1981, or two.

William Shatner is a surprisingly talented and compelling narrator. His oratory skills added a great deal to the entertainment value of this video and were largely responsible for maintaining my interest in the subjects being discussed.
I just wanna clarify some things here. We don't pray TO the black stone nor are we praying to the black box in the dessert. It's simply the direction we face. It is the holiest site in Islam but we are only praying to the one god. We pray in that direction but everything we say and everything we do in prayer is concerning ourselves, our connection with god and seeking guidance, blessings and forgiveness from god.

My mother and I say a Giant Pterodactyl looking creature, at the time this was in San elizario Texas by the Clint water tower. It was huge, it was about the size of 3 cars, no feathers, long pointy head and pointy wings. It looked as if it's weight would make him struggle trying to flop its wings. This happened around 2014-2015 I believe.
There are stories (and a photo) of a pterodactyl in Appalachia, as well. Local folklore says they had to be hunted down by Natives, settlers, and into the 1800s because it would steal and eat small children. I found this in E. Tennessee.
Wrong…..a giant bird of pterodactyl decent was found alive, in an active coal mine many years ago, the strange bird was released from a sort of hibernating slumber with a loud scream only to die shortly after… there is proof of this bird available along with photos and eyewitness statements… none of what’s in the video has been debunked

As a kid at that time i didn't know they were supposed to be extinct. In later years i read about reports of pterodactyl sightings in Papua New Guinea .

Why is it hard for us to believe that giants exist despite having evidence of bones and skeletons, foot wear and clothes while we easily accept that dinosaur exist despite having the same evidence as giant bones and skeletons.
Three reasons. The evidence is always lost, the government or foundation that takes them turns around and says they never existed and the individual that had them last went around the country showing them at carnivals, appearing to be a hoaxer just interested in money.

@@ericjones1289 they cast shadows, so depending on where they are on earth, they cast different length shadows at anyone time and if you know the distance between monoliths, you can work out the curvature. But that may just be a by-product.
I think out of necessity, time keeping, directional knowledge through the sun moon and stars, was common knowledge and pivotal for survival. And I also do not believe they would need a big rock for telling time via shadows, the knowledge was so necessary that they could just use anything in the environment casting a shadow/ or I vaguely remember you can position your hand and fingers pointing up to the sun and could tell time that way somewhat easily (there’s some specifics I don’t remember). If ever definitely found to be erected by human, assuming ego as the motivation, it could be as simple as and individual or individuals expressing their power via ability to physically alter the most powerful force known, Mother Nature.
Thunderbird have been sighted in Alaska. I believe I've seen a thunderbird in 2008 one night in the sky, thought it was a bush plane but there were no lights nor a sound of a motor being that it was flying low right over me. I could see the shape and outlining of the bird flying gracefully over me towards downtown, when I really focused on it I could tell the shape of it was not a bush plane because I see bush planes flying everyday. I followed the figure with my eyes and saw that it stuck to the darkness curving around the downtown lights that shined into the sky. It was the first time I've ever witness something I couldn't explain. I tried to sleep on it but my curiosity kept eating away at me, That I had to go to the internet and do some research that's when I found that there were similar encounters in alaska. That's also were I realized why ancient native Americans created totem poles of thunder birds. I was so shook by the research and realization that I've been telling my family about what I saw for years.
Back in the early 90's a friend and I were driving down a country road in Ohio. There were thunderstorms in the area. We rounded a curve and saw something about the size of a large calf about 1/2 mile down the road. As we got closer we could see it was a very large vulture eating roadkill. This thing raised it's head and was staring straight at us in a menacing fashion. With it's neck outstretched it was about 5 to 6 feet tall. As we got closer it threw out it's gigantic wings which were literally as long as the road was wide. With two or three flaps the huge bird shot about 15 feet in the air . As we went under it I looked back. The creature landed on top of it's prey and continued it's meal.
That monolith is part of an art thing that was done like 10 years ago. I remember reading about it. And there was one in like the middle of some rain forest and in the middle of a desert somewhere

The lovelock is true! Mr. Don Monroe I think had a Polaroid picture of a redheaded skull, much larger than the ones in this program, the hair was still on it he took the picture in the Lovelock museum

This videos are very interesting. There's a lot of mysterious things undiscovered. Anyway, talking about the giant, in Moslem's holy book, Al Qur'an, mentioned that very ancient people in prophets era, humans came in gigantic size, that they could even make a way by crouching the mountains by using their bare hands. Ive been to Lovelock Cave. There is still evidence of there being a fire at the entrance of the cave. I also found a gigantic footprint in caliche a few miles from the cave.
Caliche is what West Texas roads use to be paved with in the 50s and 60s. I've driven on many a chalky white caliche road and have even climbed around the walls of caliche strip mines. It's a really hard sedamentary rock formed over millions of years of layering. Do you suppose that giants were maybe there already when the first human migration to the area took place? That's about the only possible way I can imagine that footprints could be found in caliche.
I think those giants were THE natives of America and were genocided by what is now called "native" Americans.... I read that some tribes admit stalking and killing these giants

The way the Thunderbird beaks are depicted on totems and images, they look a lot like the heads/beaks of the California condors. Maybe they were related? Condors have a 10' wingspan...imagine the shadows they cast flying over your head!
Easy for me to see, that this "giant bird" was one of the world's last surviving dinosaurs, the Pterodactyl. As a child, the stories that were read and the tales re-told from my ancestors, gave me a firm belief that this strange flying animal, which was described in our science books, was indeed, the "Thunder Bird." This symbol can be found in many tribes & cultures. It just made good sense to me, even as a young child.

Even the bible mentions dragons. But some dinosaurs did look like dragons back then. The word dinosaur didn't exist back then,They probably gave them the name dragon..

There is a story in a place called Datia in central India about a giant bird. That was killed by the king in South Africa or Andmans where he was exiled by the British in late 1800s. Local elders used to claim having seen it's head which he brought back with him on return. Worth exploring

William Shatner is a surprisingly talented and compelling narrator. His oratory skills added a great deal to the entertainment value of this video and were largely responsible for maintaining my interest in the subjects being discussed.
I just wanna clarify some things here. We don't pray TO the black stone nor are we praying to the black box in the dessert. It's simply the direction we face. It is the holiest site in Islam but we are only praying to the one god. We pray in that direction but everything we say and everything we do in prayer is concerning ourselves, our connection with god and seeking guidance, blessings and forgiveness from god.

My mother and I say a Giant Pterodactyl looking creature, at the time this was in San elizario Texas by the Clint water tower. It was huge, it was about the size of 3 cars, no feathers, long pointy head and pointy wings. It looked as if it's weight would make him struggle trying to flop its wings. @@TheBushdoctor68I saw 2 pterodactyls in a forested area when i was a small kid way back in 1960/1961. They were flying in pairs circling one tall tree and making squawking sounds. As a kid at that time i didn't know they were supposed to be extinct. In later years i read about reports of pterodactyl sightings in Papua New Guinea .

Why is it hard for us to believe that giants exist despite having evidence of bones and skeletons, foot wear and clothes while we easily accept that dinosaur exist despite having the same evidence as giant bones and skeletons.
Three reasons. The evidence is always lost, the government or foundation that takes them turns around and says they never existed and the individual that had them last went around the country showing them at carnivals, appearing to be a hoaxer just interested in money.
Andre the Giant was huge, and Guiness Book records other very tall people...not so far fetched at all, especially when there are skeletal remains to corroborate..

@@ericjones1289 they cast shadows, so depending on where they are on earth, they cast different length shadows at anyone time and if you know the distance between monoliths, you can work out the curvature. But that may just be a by-product.
I think out of necessity, time keeping, directional knowledge through the sun moon and stars, was common knowledge and pivotal for survival.
And I also do not believe they would need a big rock for telling time via shadows, the knowledge was so necessary that they could just use anything in the environment casting a shadow/ or I vaguely remember you can position your hand and fingers pointing up to the sun and could tell time that way somewhat easily (there’s some specifics I don’t remember).
If ever definitely found to be erected by human, assuming ego as the motivation, it could be as simple as and individual or individuals expressing their power via ability to physically alter the most powerful force known, Mother Nature.

Thunderbird have been sighted in Alaska. I believe I've seen a thunderbird in 2008 one night in the sky, thought it was a bush plane but there were no lights nor a sound of a motor being that it was flying low right over me. I could see the shape and outlining of the bird flying gracefully over me towards downtown, when I really focused on it I could tell the shape of it was not a bush plane because I see bush planes flying everyday. I followed the figure with my eyes and saw that it stuck to the darkness curving around the downtown lights that shined into the sky. It was the first time I've ever witness something I couldn't explain. I tried to sleep on it but my curiosity kept eating away at me, That I had to go to the internet and do some research that's when I found that there were similar encounters in alaska. That's also were I realized why ancient native Americans created totem poles of thunder birds. I was so shook by the research and realization that I've been telling my family about what I saw for years.

Back in the early 90's a friend and I were driving down a country road in Ohio. There were thunderstorms in the area. We rounded a curve and saw something about the size of a large calf about 1/2 mile down the road. As we got closer we could see it was a very large vulture eating roadkill. This thing raised it's head and was staring straight at us in a menacing fashion. With it's neck outstretched it was about 5 to 6 feet tall. As we got closer it threw out it's gigantic wings which were literally as long as the road was wide. With two or three flaps the huge bird shot about 15 feet in the air . As we went under it I looked back. The creature landed on top of it's prey and continued it's meal.
That monolith is part of an art thing that was done like 10 years ago. I remember reading about it. And there was one in like the middle of some rain forest and in the middle of a desert somewhere

Anyway, talking about the giant, in Moslem's holy book, Al Qur'an, mentioned that very ancient people in prophets era, humans came in gigantic size, that they could even make a way by crouching the mountains by using their bare hands. Human evolves, adapting to how hard the work they do. Interesting, isn't it?

At 6:40 l am a Muslim l was born in Makkah, and here I bare witness that this "Black Stone" on the "Ka'aba" has no any power, any effect, authority, or any kind of any benefit for people at all. Why this stone was mounted in Ka'aba by Prophet Abraham PBH, it's a total mistry, no one has any clue about it. All we know is that it's a sacred stone from the time of Prophet Abraham PBH, and it's a stone from "Paradise" and Prophet Mohammed PBH, continued to take care of it and used to kiss it. so we just follow that practice, and that's all.
