time is so short...why do you still celebrate the false christmas after the pagan sun god saturnilla??...Our Lord said not to have any other gods before Him...
According to Micah in his scripture, Christ was born in Bethlehem, in the Migdal Edar with all of the other newly born Passover lambs Which makes sense, Christ is Heavenly Father’s Passover lamb, so having him be born on Nisan one, in the Tower, with all of the other newly born Passover lambs, is a thing Heavenly Father would totally do Merry Christmas to you both, these videos are my favorite, I never miss them 💗
Oww Brother Porter, tongues wang in Relief Society? well they probably were 😂but the brethren's tongues do a fair bit of waging too! 🤭 Love the channel!
Mmm, i dont know about that stable conjecture, the Shepards didn't ask for directions, they knew where to go and Bethlehem raised the majority of lambs used in temple sacrifice. Micah speaks of the tower of the flock, specific locations containing mangers where temple lambs would be born and examined by shepards who were essentially temple workers, tasked with the inspection of each newborn lamb ensuring that they are clean and unblemished. It seems to me much more likely that the tower of the flock was a specific location in Bethlehem prophesied to be the birthplace of Christ.
Concerning the tradition of "no room in the inn" The word "room" translated from "topos" meaning space, as in there is no space on my fridge for another kids' drawing. The word "inn" is used twice in the new testament: once Christ's birth, and the other in the story of the good Samaritan, but they are different Greek words. "Inn" in the good Samaritan story is "pandocheion" - a commercial inn. The word used in Luke 2 is "katalyma" which means "a place to stay." This word is used one other time in the NT by Luke: the last supper took place in a "katalyma," or "upper room" reserved for guests. The story in Greek literally reads that they laid Him in a manger because there was no space in the upper guest room. Mangers were small feeding troughs cut into the raised part of the floor where the animals could feed on when they were tied up at night at the back of the house. Christ was most likely born in a small peasant home surrounded by family and friends who knew of and believed in the miraculous circumstances. Mary even visited her cousin in a nearby village before giving birth, if they hadn't found support in Bethlehem, they could have easily gone to Martha's house. Obviously they were welcomed in the small city of David, to which both Mary and Joseph were descendants, and would have been honored guests in anyone's home.
Flee from this false doctrine that is an "adding to and taking away" from God's word which is clearly warned against 3 times in the Bible! Joseph Smith was not a Christian and Mormonism is not from God! Deuteronomy 4:2: "Do not add to what I command you and do not subtract from it, but keep the commands of the Lord your God that I give you." Proverbs 30:5-6: "Every word of God is flawless; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him. Do not add to his words, or he will rebuke you and prove you a liar." Revelation 22:18-19 "I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this scroll: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to that person the plagues described in this scroll. And if anyone takes words away from this scroll of prophecy, God will take away from that person any share in the tree of life and in the Holy City, which are described in this scroll."
Christ birth 6BC Christ death 28Ad In the Book of Mormon it states that it was the 34th year when the sign of Christ’s death took place 28+6=34… this would make Christ 34 at his death Herod death 1BC 6-1=5 This gives Jesus five years to meet the wise men, live in Egypt, and then come back because Herod dies So… 2025+6= 2031 this would be our actual new year coming up… “IF” all of the above is actually correct 🙂

@ 2025… is the new year coming up in ten days But as I said, “IF” our calendars are truly off by 6 years, then the actual new year coming up in ten days would be 2031…
@brendamartin3444 the Jewish calendar is off by 206 years approx. 5785+ 206=5991. 5991-6000=9 years left. But that depends on if the numbers are accurate too.
I learned several things from this posting. Thank you, both. And Very Merry Christmas!

@sherrcon I celebrate Christ's birth

I am curious how you reconcile the Deuteronomy scripture and the Proverbs scriptures with all the scriptures that come after them.
@loribrackett7820 I live in the 21st century-do you understand the progression of the covenants?
Christ birth 6BC
Christ death 28Ad
In the Book of Mormon it states that it was the 34th year when the sign of Christ’s death took place
28+6=34… this would make Christ 34 at his death
Herod death 1BC
6-1=5
This gives Jesus five years to meet the wise men, live in Egypt, and then come back because Herod dies
So… 2025+6= 2031 this would be our actual new year coming up… “IF” all of the above is actually correct
🙂
