i agree with you on the vibe with the music part. i loved the soundtrack so much that when it wasn’t being sold on steam when the game first released, i was gonna become a supervillain.
At 1:55. If you pull up on that hill, you can actually get airborne and jump on a different section of the track. I always wondered how the AI would pass me at the very end of that track.
I didn't know about that path until yesterday when I did it to experiment cuts lol. I feel a lil dumb not having seen that entire section for so long, ngl lol
Is it just me, or do the strafe drift turns for sharp turns feel way harder to control now? I'm knocking into everything in the mines and especially in neo tokyo. Is there a new trick to it for sharp turns other than braking?
Basically just comes down to practice. It's definitely a different set of game physics from RO1, but I prefer them over RO1s tbh. Just needs more playtime to grasp em I'd say.
I do not, mostly because I haven't gone back to those yet lol. But that track, according to the devs, was supposed to have you fall off and etc, to teach you stuff. I just sorta yeeted thru the tutorials tho so, didn't pay much attention to the difficulty since the unlocks were all I wanted lol
Gameplay is phenomenal as always. But is it just me, or does RO1 have wayy better looking environments?Definitely less detailed, but more stylish and fitting
I've never played a more addictive racing experience in all my life like holy shit this game is wild.
Insane control and speed, so impressive to see each time.
I'll get to this level and get plats one day, but I got a long way to go.
also: 0:49 monkaS
Damn, I have dozens of plats from the first game and hundreds of hours in it, and I came to this game and can't even get bronze on these speed events.
same here
Come back to them after unlocking better ships and parts.
same, I'd like some tips on how to do better at them (apart from better equipment)
Man. You're as good as ever!
On the other note. THAT SOUNDTRACK! So chonky! I love it!
>plans to vibe with music
>platinum's the event
I swear Jolt is just built different
The fact that you can jump over to different parts of the track is awesome.
The master of anti-gravity-racing is back!

love to see you back with Redout 2
Love your videos 🧡
What a run! Amazing
That turbo at 1:57 is nicely weaved in. Its ready again on the finish stretch.

The amount of absolute control is insane. How do you keep so steady?
Nuts, as always.
Hrm.... Any chance you got the plat in that wonky track they use to teach rewind? That track felt like a troll...
I do not, mostly because I haven't gone back to those yet lol.

@@Joltout aha. Yeah. That level sucked,.hahahhaha
i dont know if this would be possible but i would love to see if you could get controller/mnk on screen to show how you race
Its here!!!
1:57 The camera clips through the track, so distracting. I hope they can patch that from happening.
Tuff
I can't get past section A. The 1st one. This is a hard game
What is the name of the song ?
Is it harder than Redout 1? or easier?
The control harder then redout 1 for newbie, AI is master and nightmare harder then Redout 1.
I think the handling model in 2 is easier to get the hang of, but the difficulty is harder overall.
So...plats are now Gold plus Trophy?
No. If you have a look at the scores at the end, you see my speed score exceeded the platinum score, so I got the plat as a result.
@@Joltout Found out shortly after when i got my first one and then also the achievement for it. Thanks for clarifying

too bad they didnt bother to write a story and all the tracks look the same
