i think a version that uses XD magazines would have good appeal for XD owners i doubt Springfield would make one that uses glock mags
Shame there isn't a shorter barrel version with a pistol brace...
My guess is that it was put on hold until the ATF works out the whole braced pistol/sbr thing.

Man, I wish they would have made the magazines to fit the carbine and the 9mm XDM. I have a carbine that uses Glock mags. I don't own a Glock. I would have loved to have a carbine that fits it and my pistol. Interchangeable magazines would have been great!

I was ready to buy until it was announced it uses Colt mags instead of Glock mags.
I'd really like to pick up that but $1300 pcc with $77 colt mags might have to wait a little bit on that but she is nice

I'd go with psa or cmmg for 9mm over this personally
I have the Saint Victor in .556/.223 and recently got the 9mm version (the 2023 Gear Up promotion adds a red dot, one point sling, extra mag and a $200 discount on active wear)
I am more accurate with the 9mm SV and I enjoy shooting it much more than the .556/.223 version, especially standing. I just wished it came in Tungsten Gray. Still looks pretty nice in black.
Looks good...but, why, oh Why, oh WHY did you not make it to take XD and/or XDM magazines? And, yes, I know that the colt-style mag is 32 rounds...

Look into a Maglula or Promag Colt loader. It will save your fingers and a lot of time.

Picking mine up Tuesday January 31, 2023 I'm changing the pistol grip to BCM I'm leaving the B5 stock for now adding BCM vertical grip also for the red dot going with the Hex dragonfly with american defense mfg mount Co witness will make a video later on.

Can the blast diverter be removed IOT replace with a compensator for USPSA? Looks great but wish it used the cheaper Glock mags.

I have one of these. Love it. Shoots great with and without suppressor(OCTANE45 2.0). Anyone know what weight buffer this rifle uses?

Nice piece but the handguard must be removed to access the muzzle brake and the handguard will not work with a suppressor, you have to buy an aftermarket handguard with a larger internal diameter if you want to run a suppressor.

Direct blowback, so the cheapest system possible? Let me guess, it comes with a solid buffer too? Maybe also a mediocre feed cone angle that constantly induces failures with hollow points?
FFS, can you guys PLEASE start working towards building greater platform compatibility across all SA products? It was bad enough that XD and XDm don't share mags, but now you bring out a pistol caliber AR and it doesn't use a mag that's compatible with any of your pistols? If you guys could just build a whole line of pistol caliber offerings that used the same mags, you'd actually start gaining ground on GLOCK. It's so frustrating to watch you guys bungle product line after product line.

PROBLEM SOLVED. IT'S THE MAG LOADER ...USE ONLY THE COLT SMG 9MM LULA .....[REPEAT]
Man this would have been nice in with a 5-7” barrel and with a full rail. Not to mention to be able to run a drum through it would really give it that final touch on drill days when we’re running and gunning
