Awesome video, thank you for sharing good amount detail of facility. As I was watching I couldn't help but realize the workers. The amount of time to dust clean every single piece in that facility has to be insane amount of hours to do. Kudos to them let's not overlook that. Must have been amazing to see a $730m project in motion.

I was there last month, it was amazing. Can't wait to come back and go to the newest Gundam base. Just started this hobby but starting with the simple builds first, the more detailed ones look a little daunting to me.
As a Gundam fan going to Japan in 3 weeks, I am going to study this whole video!

I recommend going to book off super bazaar. They have a big selection of gunplas. Not to mention you can find a bunch of other stuff like books, mangas, games, CDs, figures, cards, etc, etc. I went to the one in machida, tokyo but im sure you can find other ones too.

I was in Japan at the end of May. I went to Gundam Factory but unfortunately they closed down for a week :'( But at least I was able to see Unicorn in Odaiba :)

I really need to visit the factory when I next get back over there. Although it could be dangerous for the old wallet and practicality... Had enough "fun" trying to work out how to get the PG RX-0 that I bought back home to the UK the last time we visited in 2018... Still not finished my build of that yet... Currently trying to order some spare parts, not an easy thing to do in the UK...

I got to visit Gundam Base and Unicorn Gundam in Odaiba back in 2018. Very cool. Of course, I hadn't seen much Gundam at that time....

I went in march right after they announced the extension of the yokohama gundam, none of the food trucks or cups were open and sold out 😞
I didn't know Qubeley existed prior to watching this video. It made me buy the P-Bandai version and it's now one of my favourite kits

i went to the gundam factory and saw the moving rx-78f00 but unfortunately that was on my last day in japan so i couldnt go to the unicorn since i hadnt gone to akihabara yet
still super awesome nonetheless
I was there back in April, it is such a cool store! We may have had to buy an extra suitcase to bring back stuff we bought.

When I went to the Factory in Yokohama, they were all sold out of all the souvenir popcorn and drink containers. I really wanted a pink-chan to take home.
I was able to hit 3 of the GUndam places. GUndam Odaiba, Gundam Factory Yokohama and Gundam base Fukuoka. WIsh I had more itme at Fukuoka. THere was a little cafe there with a screen that makes it look like you are inside one the Side satelittes.

It looks like you truly enjoyed yourself on this trip. It also sounds like you stayed under budget this trip, at least when it came to buying things. I do wonder about the shipping\baggage cost though. Just remember you can always refill that pink blob container with good popcorn.

The lifesized Gundams are really the highlights. The real size is really mesmerizing.
So awesome to see the displays, I appreciate the sharing, I'd like to go but school and work has me busy, fun to take a peek at the history of gundams and gunpla, your trips look like a lot of fun too.
I remember going to the Gundam Factory wanting to buy a really expensive pair of gloves. Ended up not buying them, but now I'm regretting it.

and the light effects on the Aerial Gundam and the Other MS together was sick ! I gotta study how they set

Hi Meli. So they allow photographing or recording in the Gundam Base Store at Yokohama now? I saw some other vlogs saying you are not allowed to film or record inside the shop at the Gundam Dock. My family and I will be there in a couple weeks so, I just wanted to get some more info. Thanks!
