Such a great skater. He's into the music, and that's what makes him so beautiful to watch. And what a programm! With that beautiful music and such a great performance, I always have tears in my eyes watching such beauty. Thank you very much, Stephane!

i saw him on the olympics few days ago
i gotta say
ive never seen anyone spin like that, his movements are even more elegant and flexible (i dont even know if i should say liquidlike or flexible :P).
If he can master his jumps, gold would be a joke for this man. he would go down in history as the most marvelous skater :P hes just stunning in his spins that you literally forget about his mistakes on the jumps! stephan, your amazing keep up the good work man
What a great skater! he really gets into the whole character of the flamenco. his jumps are great, and that ending spin combo is outstanding.
That was one of the best LP that i have ever seen. thank you Stephane ;o*
WOW.....what a magnificent skater. Flamenco is a master piece. This program has the complete package. Superb quality of artistry, music interpretation, above all magnificent spins. Love this program.

Wow, now I have to watch those who came in 1st and 2nd to see who beat that program. i can only guess Stephane had to make up too much ground to place higher. This was an astounding pc of work. I could watch him all day!!
La trottola finale è da brivido!!!! Grande Stephane
STephane..........you'll be so sorely missed..........from the competition ice. You brought such excitement and passion competition and skating.........competitive figure skating is just not the same without you anymore.

oh man. he was so young too. i wonder if he will ever come back...
I like Flamenco. Oh, it's excellent, he's so cute, his dancing gives me pleasure. It's his strong and interesting program.
the most fantastic spin ever at the end.
This is real skating. Unlike SOCHI 2014 . Never Forget. Reform skating NOW.
The quads were already kind of a fight back then, but he could land them without falling, and the first one was really good. This season his falls are so horrible to watch. How I wish we could see him skate like that again and - more importantly - see him so happy again! Wish you the best for the GP Final! Go Stéphane!
wow~just wow.
I like Flamenco. Oh, it's excellent, he's so cute, his dancing gives me pleasure.
Stephane Lambiel the best!
Stéphane Lambiel est un dieux sur glace!
Mon dieux
I ♥ Stephane Lambiel
yo amo a Stephane es mi idolo!!!
HOLY POOPS. O_O Those were the most amazing spins ever.
Seemed like the ice was going to be drilled from under his skates in that last one...
agree with aznpride2005: just needs to land clean on the jumps and Lambiel will be unbeatable...
love it..
im crying, the last spin was OMG
I agree; finally, perfectly centered!!
hermosooo ke lindo flamencoooo!!!
Stephane is so beautiful! I love him, oh yea and his flamenco is great. LOL
The best performance.
I don't understand when people saying figure is down these day due to judging focusing on jump.
I saw all the famous skater's program.
I feel those skater like, yugudin, kulik, plusenko, they are all jumper.
But, lambiel is the real artist.
I saw all
WHAT a sit spin, WHAT a headless scratch spin, wowowowowowowowow *faints*
Genius.
THE BEST!!!
wooow q arte tiene y buenorro!! :D
@moondivi I AGREE with your comments. No skater out there can match Stephen's artistry and spins. He is the Master of Spins. But way back then sometine around 2005 and 2006, there is no doubt he can jump. Perhaps sometime around 2007 something happened, that he can no longer do those jumps. Perhaps he has incurred an injury that affected his ability to jump. But as for me, no one can match his superb quality as figure skater.
Passion!!!!
He's unbearable delightful! There are no words to describe my feelings
I think maybe he is maybe he isn't.But it doesn't matter for us.:) HE IS AMAZING skater and performer!!! This is the main thing.
The music he was playing to was Vicente Amigo on guitar. What piece was it? Brilliance with brilliance.
take the gold in Sochi he must.
he is so talented....it's an immense loss for figure skating the think that he has retired.....:(
But now he's coaching. Don't worry; he's nowhere near gone.
He could jump: did 2 quads in each of his programs winning gold in Worlds in 2005 and 2006. Then he started having serious problems with his knees, which caused him to 'retire' in 2007 from competition. But he has continued to do incredible performances in ice shows all over Europe, and his artistry has grown enormously; he can skate to any genre of music. In terms of "elegance", Lambiel is in a class by himself (w/ Daisuke Takahashi). Lysacek, IMO, is wooden and stiff & hugely over-rated.
I have always loved Lambiel and Daisuke. :)
Holy shit ! Boy can Spin !
They've redesigned the scoring system in the past couple years. Check it out.

Yes, he was since summer ´03. But I heard that they split.
I always though Todd Eldridge spins were amazing, as well as his presence. If I could take Todd Eldridge present, Yagudin's straight line foot work, Victor Petrenko's three axel three toe combination, Timothy's Gable 's 3 quads in a program, with Lambiel's artistry and the most "Out of the World's Spins ever skated on ice!!!!. That would be the best Champion EVER!!!!!!!
success isn't always measured by a gold medal
fuck competitions. this guy is a genius.
@lutzig4 It's a loss for the competition world, not for figure skating as a whole, because Lambiel has stopped to compete, but he has not retired from figure skating. He's merely gone from the amateur stage of skating to the porofessional stage. Now he is skating quite actively in different shows around the world. He's already presented five new exhibition programs this year, and one more is still to be presented. If you call that retired, then I don't know...
y lo mejor: ES SUIZO! q increible!
His final 2 spins are insanely fast here. From this clip, it seems he has now lost a little speed on his spins judging from his 2010 EC and 2010 olympics. But always so fun to watch.
@Modog34 I heard he has problems with his back, i saw him on exhibition and they said that
@pombo1971 Yes, competition is not that interesting without him anymore. But if you are interested in the artistic side of figure skating, not just competition, you can still watch him skate in shows. Of course, many people (me included) are not able to attend those shows, but it's possible to at least watch most of that here on youtube. Actually, in my opinion, Lambiel is even better at exhibitions than in competition, because there he is able to skate with more freedom and joy .
poeta en el mar - vicente amigo
Music :)
jaja pensé que ella dijo "inocente amigo" porque soy de argentina and no comprendo su acente
@boguswoman81 well, of course it is not a total retirement from figure skating(thank God) but i think that he would really be one of the best if he still competed....
she was 16 years old.
why did he leave the figure skating world? does anyone know?
I heartily agree! Otherwise he should have won his third gold!
what the music play??
Is he still in love with Carolina Kostner?
Perhaps John Curry's artistry would make the best champion ever.
15 dislikes for................????????
he looks just like audrey tautou! as if they were twins :-)
That's nice that you support Stephane, and he is truly a great skater, I can see that. But to suggest that Alexei was nothing more than a series of "clean jumps" is utterly absurd, I'm sorry.
Ehhh...
He's the best,STOP INVENTING THAT HE'S GAY,who says this must be gelous of LAMBIEL who's so different of the other famous persons!IF you love how he skates it shouldn't matter such things!GIVE UP!
I don't think he was better than Lysacek. Lysacek is a really fine skater I like his style. Lambiel was a little bit insecure, Lysacek wasn't and in that kind of competition that's what made the difference. I would't put him 6 point ahead, the same goes for the Japanese skater, I thought that was too much.
Well, if he was in love with Kostner, she nust have been the luckiest girl in the world...
did anyone elses mouth drop at 5:01 ??? :O
I am sure he is not a gay. Anyway,I think that he is brilliant, talented and successful skater! And I loove him! I don`t mind his sexual orientation :)
Yes, Joubert was in great shape, especially in his "technical" program but he lacks the great artistry in which Lambiel excells, think about his "unusual" spins! I must say that I prefer Stéphane's artistry instead of Brian's technics.
me neither, but its kinda anoying when everyone ASSUMES a dude is gay cuz he's a skater/model/whatever ya know??? im sure lots are...but still
I think Stephane is gay but I don't think that's the issue. Although I hear he's close to Roger Federer and they are close friends so....
FLAMENCO ON ICE !!!! HOLA BY " FLAMENCO PAGE " in FACEBOOK !!!
