You may want to clean the piston edges before pushing them down. Otherwise you risk fucking up the seals. I push the pistons out a little(!) bit further out after removing the pads by slightly pulling the brakeing lever. Then rinse cleaning the pistons with brake cleaner and a soft small brush. Then apply some brake grease / copper paste around the pistons (a old zip tie might help to reach all places) before pushing the pistons back.
How have these been over the past 12 months? Bout to order some and swap out myself, having to watch on mute, they feel alot better than the stock ones?
Not sure on the number, but this is what I ordered www.brakecrafters.com/collections/2020-indian-scout-bobber/products/2017-2020-indian-scout-rear-ebc-hh-rated-sintered-brake-pads-1-pair
@@Eastcoast_Rds this is what I ordered below. If you can get your hands on the service manual I highly recommend it as it'll have all the info you need. REALLY GOOD instructions. However the head cam you are wearing needs to be angled down just a little bit. Please keep sharing.
Yeah its always hard getting the angle right without being able to see it live. I'll keep trying different things to get it better!
hey dude thanks for this video im gonna try it out soon but this is the best instructional for this bike on youtube so far .
Thank you so much, that means a lot to me 🙏🙏. I appreciate the support.

I lost my clips so my brake rub rotor now.
That... doesnt sound like a good thing. Probably should get some replacement clips

Thanks. Are the pads supposed to be loose. Or in a fixed position?
@@joeyork9891 they are loose until you put them onto the caliper and get everything screwed in
