I do philosophy and this is by far the deepest, most profound work of intellectual genius I have yet seen. Seems to be a story about the birth of a collective ethos. All the symbolism evolves like the arrow of time being pulled out of the business man's chest, then love hearts being used in industry and doctors growing flowers in the patient's brain, combined with all that stuff about racial and ethnic reconciliation and after that the businessman is pink and no longer pierced by the arrow. Meanwhile there's constant references to communication technology and a progression through history, ancient Greece, the Teutonic knight, the wild west... Every few bars there's a depiction of this ancient stone archway and then a tunnel going through it, made out of faces and skulls and human things growing out of human things. And at the end, the last few bars are clearly a call for us to rise up into a more loving state of mind. But what really gets me is the way the clips are arranged with the music to form an embedded image that slowly explains itself each time the pattern is repeated. Pure genius, this has given me new faith in humanity. Bravo!

Every few bars there's a depiction of this ancient stone archway and then a tunnel going through it, made out of faces and skulls and human things growing out of human things.
And at the end, the last few bars are clearly a call for us to rise up into a more loving state of mind.
But what really gets me is the way the clips are arranged with the music to form an embedded image that slowly explains itself each time the pattern is repeated.
Pure genius, this has given me new faith in humanity.
