29:40 - The "opening" for critical attacks only happens if your enemy (or you) is trying to block and the stamina is depleted that way. Otherwise, hits will lead you to the "hit recovery" animation, which is also useful for combos.

I wonder if you'd like the Gilded Greatshield. It's heavy, but it's one of the best shields in the game and you can get it really early.

Quick tip, hold down on the d pad to go straight to healing potions

To be more precise, holding UP or DOWN on the dpad goes to the first slot where something is stored. By default, the crimson flask is the first item, so by holding DOWN it should select it. Similarly, if you have multiple spells memorized, by holding UP you will return to the first spell on the list.

Not sure if you know or not but you've been fat rolling this entire walkthrough so far. If you have heavy load your roll carries you less distance, costs more stamina, and grants less s. If you're aware then disregard, I may have missed you mention it.

dont know of u read comments but there are some faster and more powerful spells the archer spell gives you awesome range

Is anyone noticing an input lag for the dodge/roll command on ps4 or ps5? I’m level 29 trying to take on margit and my dodges are super delayed, even with a light load. Already beat dragon and tree sentinel. Any suggestions are appreciated.
