I’m a 4th generation Texan and went north of the mason Dixon for the first time a couple years ago. Upstate NY. Was NOT what I expected. I was happy to see it was just like this! I did get caught in an Amish traffic jam though. That was new. Good farmers and hunters, and Patriots out there. I had a great time. Taught me a lesson that we are everywhere. And that’s a good thing.
My father's side is from up in the Adirondacks and Watertown, NY. I grew up in the Appalachians of Pennsylvania for 20 years and live in Texas now. I've always felt more of a Southerner culturally just cus I disagree with the entire fundamentals of the Civil War and the Union and I love Texas Independence history but yes, we are everywhere. In fact, I live outside of Austin now and I've seen more pinko commie shits sipping Starbucks here in Texas than ever in my life which was an odd experience. I expected more cowboy hats, wranglers and open carry.
Coming from Alaska and living in Washington, it’s about time I heard a song about us northern boys! Everything in this is just spot on. Damn good song here.
Great song. So many people don't realize how much 'country' there is up north. I especially love the "we bust out the sleds when it gets cold" part. It may be cold, but we're still gonna send it !!!
Same here Sarah lol The only comment I liked so far. I'm North Jersey born and raised, but lived in N.E. PA for a long time. I always saw myself as an Italian-Irish City boy with country in his veins. I always saw it in an outlaw sense, too, though. More criminal outlaw lmao People don't realize, the Mafia still exists in the south, midwest, etc.

As an American soldier stationed in South Korea, you have made quite a few of songs that really hit the spot ( mostly grandaddys gun) I would love to meet you one day
Living in south now let me tell y’all northerners seem to be more patriot! My dad is turning over how south turned liberal and sheep followers to manipulative liars.
@@samirisen7707 There are patriots everywhere. The media wants us to think we're few and far between but rest assured, we're just lying in wait for a real reason to come out.

Lived within the same mile of where I was raised . Same place my dad and his 14 siblings were raised. Raising my kids in the same place. Small town in Ohio . The north is for true outdoors men. Most couldn't handle our northern winters . We were raised in it !!!
Thank you Aaron for singing a song for us! North or south of the mason dixon line! We appreciate it & we know butter our own bread! God Bless America. We will survive this so called "administration " 🤯
As a southern man that spent 6 months up in Northern Wisconsin, I can say that this song is true. You got plenty good ol boys up north. We ain't talkin about yall when we say yankee.
Kansas boy here, old vet disabled, combat wounded! This is a uplifting song! My dad played in Nashville! Met lots of good folks down there! Wish I would’ve met Aaron Lewis he’s real and sings about real stuff! Hoohah Mr Lewis!
Love his real life written songs . Fantastic singing voice that cant hide the the emotion and effort of giving his all in every song . One of the best , keep the music alive , upmost respect !
I'm not big on Country music. However my beautiful wife is. She turned me onto "Country Boy" and although we live in rural Connecticut I could relate to that song. I even have the Gasden Rattlesnake flag on the back window of my unregistered pickup that has hauled many white tailed bucks around. We butcher our own. Now I just heard "Northern Redneck" ... That`s who my buddy`s and I are and always will be. Good Music is good music period.
I was born and raised in Kentucky still live in Kentucky but I gotta say I love this song even though I'm not from up North and I also like Aaron Lewis music
His songs tell great stories and makes you think about alot of things... He might be rough but thats his personality... Alot of people judge him on that instead of understanding where his coming from... I like his attitide and his personality... If he was another friendly guy singing country then he wouldnt have been Aaron Lewis... Keep it country!!!
Even though he isn't from the true South. Good Ole Dixie is growing on his soul!! What can I say Tennessee and the true South have a little bit of everybody's heart and I am damn proud to be born and raised!
I this is a well written song. Outstanding song writer. We need more song written about the Northern people. Shout out from a Michigan Upper Peninsula. Yooper land.
I grew up in a Alaska then moved to the middle of fucking no where Pennsylvania when I was 16 years old and fuck yeah I'am Country but still love me some Metal too
