Low and slow absolutely place a few apple wood chips and n coals turn brats every 15-20 m absolutely no bbq sauce needed no direct heat to sear if you do that you will break the skin of the brat n loose all the jjuices n flavor the apple chips gives a bit of an apple smoke flavor give it a try my family n friends love it

I cook them low and slow because they turn out juicier and you get a bit of a smoke ring.
