Good video Sarah and Andrew! Liked how you put it together in connection with the other videos you did of the area. Eating in St. Ives one day is on the bucket list for me, as well as looking in all the shop windows, walking on the beaches........ Loved the look of Andrew's breakfast, I may have that tomorrow morning. Enjoy your weekend. Your channel has grown in numbers of subscribers! Congrats!
Hi Laura, We love St Ives, a gorgeous place to visit and take a wonder! We were highlighted for 24 hours as 'Creator on the Rise' by UA-cam and they added our little channel to the trending page, press the explore button and we might still be there! Sarah :)
What a gorgeous apartment to spend a holiday, and so much to do within a short distance😁I imagine it is just bustling with tourists during high season , thank you so much for another great look into Heavenly Cornwall, sending lots of happiness to you and fur boys, Lori
What a nice treat to be able to stay at an St.Ives cottage🏣 and the beach with that golden fine sand is so inviting 🏖️ love the Art there of the sea surroundings🖼️🎨
I love the Cornish decor, the colour scheme and the fittings from the accommodation. I want my home to look like this, simple, airy and minimalist. I always love watching your videos. I lived in a sunny coast in Essex, except today we had a thunderstorm LOL. My friends recently moved to Cornwall. They have inspired me in Cornwall since 1999. Ever since we visited Cornwall every year. I have visited my friend's new home just before the lockdown in March. But unfortunately, during my stay, most shops have closed in Falmouth and ended up staying at their home most of the week. But I do enjoy the local outdoors walking exercise. I will visit my friends again in July. I have started making my own Cornish pasties inspired from your video. They taste so good. Make me feel like in Cornwall again 😊
Sounds amazing! I bet you are looking forward to your visit! I'm sure your friend has let you know that not everything is open yet, but we are getting there!! Your pasties sound great - enjoy! Sarah :)
How nice to sit in a pub with a pint and some food, seems a lifetime ago when we could do that. Well done on some skilful filming and editing, unlike a lot of youtube vlogs.. Always a joy to watch.
You are a lucky pair! And thank you for the Poldark bits at the end!! I've also left a comment on your Virtual Walk you posted in the week...I hadn't realised you had posted two this week! I love the virtual walks with just the sounds of the sea, seagulls & the odd doggy here and there coming up to greet you! Lovely stuff. A breath of fresh air to watch. J x
Thank you for a lovely breakfast treat. I am sitting here with my cup of coffee dreaming of St. Ives and all of Cornwall. And wishing I also still had some Cornish Fairings to munch on :) I have watched all the episodes of Poldark and been to all the places you show and this is a great revisit to this stunning area. 28 Piazza looks really nice too :-) Have a lovely weekend! Torunn :-)
@@CornishWalkingTrails Haha, yes I have. I had watched some episodes earlier when it was on Norwegian TV last year but I was a bit confused and found out I had to watch it from the start. So I started sometime last autumn and finished it during lockdown. And it is fabulous. Had to spread the episodes from the 2 last seasons to make it last longer ;-)
Wow!! Breakfast with a view, & what a view......I loved the accommodation, the decor was typical St Ives and the colour scheme was very in keeping with the ‘loft accommodation’. I would have thought perfect for a central stay in St. Ives in or out of Season. The scenery on the Train ride is probably the best in Cornwall and was featured with Michael Portillo Great British Train Journey’s. Another informative and delightful video, as usual a pleasure to watch and we so look forward to them.
Guys, were you excited or what filming that? And no wonder. Brings back great memories from our family holidays and you've given us some nice tips for next time. Great video!
Cornwall is a real contrast, so quiet in the winter months and then its like a tap is turned on, the roads get jammed, the car parks fill up and the beached get rammed. For the first week, it gets me every year and then we use our little local short cuts and everything is fine!! Sarah :)
You are really tempting us to take a break down there, but your fella's jokes are getting no better! :) I stayed back of Porthmeor beach when I was a kid, but the weather was dreadful for most of the two weeks and we spent most days on coaches on day trips. I do have a painting (original) of Godrevy light done by John Higgins, one of the St Ives School. Always loved it, it's in our living room. One day soon now, we will come down.
Thank you for a lovely vlog as always. My wife comes from Falmouth and her brother lives in Carbis bay so we try and visit Cornwall yearly and walk from her brothers house into StIves about 20 minutes walk. We live in Guernsey Channel Islands.Due to this coved 19 we won’t be able to get over this year so your vlogs are a great way for us to get our fix of Cornwall. Have you tried Becs fish and chip restaurant on your way into St Ives family run and very friendly. Thanks again for your lovely vlogs and keep up the great work and stay safe and well.
Next time you go to Becs ask if George or Margaret are there or their daughter Annette . If they are tell them Shaun And Ellie from Guernsey sent You. Annette is our sister in-law. George and Margaret are a very lovely and special couple and Annette is fantastic as well. Keep the vlogs coming and keep well.
Thank you for a new video- will enjoy it later. Have a wonderful weekend.
💟
So beautiful! I prefer St Ives like this...out of season - so much space!
Me too, tbh! Sarah :)

How wonderful! So glad we could transport you for a few minutes!! Sarah :)

That's a quaint little apartment in beautiful St Ives. What a view from Porthmeor cafe whilst tucking into a full English 😍
Full Cornish 😉
What a view! Sarah :)
Beautiful video Sarah and Andrew, you two always have such a great time. Thankyou
Our pleasure! This was a real treat to stay in St Ives! Sarah :)

So much fun! Beautiful, too! Thank you!!!
Glad you enjoyed it! Sarah :)
Add St. Ives to my wish list. Beautiful. Thank you.
Good choice! You won't be disappointed! Sarah :)
Wow, didn't know St. Ives could be so un-crowded during winter. The place you stayed in was very nice and so close to the beach. Enjoyed this :)

Nice video and accommodations! Build your own breakfast was brilliant! I'm with Andrew on that. Stay safe! Danny & Mark xx
Glad you enjoyed it! Great breakfast! Sarah :)
Another one of your brilliant videos, thank you.
So nice of you - thank you! Sarah :)

We find August to be the most dreary month - June so much better! The light in St Ives is still astonishing, even in the rain! Sarah :)
the seas always lovely blue green
Thanks you two..lovely ...as always..👍xx
Our pleasure! Sarah :)
Love those Cornish Tea teabags! So tasty

Beautiful little cottage. I could live there.
You and me both! Beautiful! Sarah :)
Coming down here, promoting our tourism!
Actually Cornish born and bred! Happy to help Cornwall by promoting tourism and supporting our economy. Sarah and Andrew :)
cornwall all lovely
Lovely video!! The cottage is lovely ...i wonder how much for out of season?? x
Their booking site is in the description for you, if you are interested, Sarah :)
Looks a bit different to Bournemouth beach yesterday!
It was! What a shame! And we have had reports of gatherings and fighting on our news too! People are getting restless and bored it seems, Sarah :)
Greetings, from Indonesian living in Cornwall
British people seem to use the phrase "isn't it? " a lot. And I mean a LOT. It is strange, isn't it?
In Cornwall we tend to say 'init?' We speak in a really lazy way here!! Sarah :)
@2
Cornwall is a lot nicer than the cornish.
Oh! We are actually Cornish... Sarah :(
