Scoring was not a problem for these two high scoring offenses as Santa Margarita outlasted Los Alamitos in The Classic at Damien. The three towers for the Eagles, Brayden Kyman (6'8") Drew Anderson (6'8") and Dallas Washington (6'9") dominated the paint with offensive rebounds and easy buckets at the rim. Junior transfer Kaiden Bailey scored 19 points and Brayden Kyman had a game high 23 points while Washington added 18. Los Alamitos was led by the senior trio of Trent Minter with 19 points and Liam Gray also with 19 points. In a game of runs, it was Santa Margarita opening up a double digit lead late in the 2nd half that proved to be the difference as they went on for the victory. Santa Margarita finished off "The Classic" winning 3 in a row and winning the consolation bracket after dropping their opening game to Layton Christian.
