A few differences between what you have told us about Norway and what happens in Australia: in Australia, the person offended against might say “Oi!” rather than the offending person. Usually this would be between family member or friends rather than strangers and is usually half joking. For example, if one friend pinched a chip from another friend, the “victim” might say “Oi!”, as in “Hands off!”, but you would not expect them to give it back or apologise; it’s just being playful. We have a similar thing to you at the end of school (after the exams in our case). We call it “Schoolies”. People go to the beach in Southern Queensland or Northern New South Wales, get drunk and party all night. Sometimes there are creepy young men that hang around, hoping to hook up with one of the girls. (fun fact: I'm partially English and partially Austrian/German, but after taking a DNA-test I found out that I also have some heritage up north... which includes all Scandinavian countries with the most percentage in Norway ^0^)
True that, nothing beats Belgian chocolate. Actually, the biggest producer in the world is Barry Callebaut, it's a Swiss company, out of Callebaut (Belgium) and Barry (France) Almost every chocolate producer uses this brand of chocolate as a ground base
@@rickcabus5973 Wow, I didn't know that. Interesting fact!

My friend's wife is Norwegian and she got me hooked on this weird Norwegian cheese called Gudbrandsdalen. It's made with caramel, sounds gross, I know, but it's bloody gorgeous :D
Sunny! Whenever you come back to the US, you should check out some of the West Coast states, Washington, Oregon, or California.

Best Chocolate, Tacofredag México: You're welcome
Julio: That their Tacos as you say Tacofredag has nothing to do with a proper Tacos)))) You kidding me? I used to work in Norway and had a mexican colleague. When she saw how norwegians do Tacos, she was pulling her hair)))))) Literally: mince meat, cheese, tacosauce from glass, cucumber, onion, maize, tacospice. You call that a Taco? So Norwegians: You are welcome)))))
@@kellycaviazel8979 I agree with you, I simply wrote what was said on the video and made fun of that (As if México was saying with a condescending tone: sure kid ). By the way, I'm mexican myself.
Sunny, I grew up in small town in Alaska founded by Norwegians, (I'm 2nd generation Norwegian born in America). Check out the town Petersburg. In May we have Mayfest celebrating Norways Independence. Hope to hear back from you.
When I hear Norway or Iceland I think Game of thrones.
Great video. I have a very good friend who lives in Tromso. I'm using these videos to learn about your culture. I'm more Norwegian than I thought. I'm introverted, I don't wear shoes in the house, love potatoes and much more. Thanks for posting.

When someone says Norway, then the first thing i think about is my boyfriend. He is From Norway and I am from Sweden. And we are gonna meet for the first time next year. And I can speak Norwegian 😝🇳🇴💕
And we are not wearing shoes inside in Sweden to c:
been to Norway...had a blast. dined with the royals and loved hanging out with the super tall norwegians and their music...lol. they like hip hop too...loved the fjords and the old school viking ships. its expensive for people from the US even by DC or NY standards but well worth it.
Uff da, we love Norwegian people in Montana and North Dakota!
Uhh, we don’t say Uff Da, that was created by a bunch of Americans.
Norge Mann We’re Americans so we adapt foreign languages as we see fit.
