Classic Cramps title. The sound quality is excellent. Minami Doitsu sounds great. Live music on a flight; how times have changed.

Isn’t that funny Mark, out flights feature a live band. Obviously the first class section must have been bigger. Remember when airplanes had a second level? Minami was a great find, great stuff to relax to my friend

Hello Steve; Like the Sex Pistols T-shirt. MDOU Moctar, midnight music for the new neighbors. Minami Deutsch, the spirit of " 67 " lives on. The Cramps, nuevo post punk. Arnold Schonberg, symphonic sounds. Acoustic Alchemy, sweet relaxing music. Take care, Tina & Pat!~

Hi Unk. I love that Cramps album. I had it on cassette, then on CD. I've seen a re-issue for $25 and will probably pick it up next week. I don't know if I would call them 'blues', but definitely has some blues influence in it. To me, they are the best psychobilly group ever. Thanks for the shout-out. Have a great week.

I like the sound of that 2nd Minami Deutch album, something I might pick up next year in Japan, or sooner. The Cramps are terrific, nice showing of "Bad Music For Bad People". The Shonberg Picasso cover is a favorite, and the music is sublime.

I am trying to work in a little classical now JT. Most people don’t care but then most have not listened to it or know the story behind some of it. Minami D was very good, something a little different but I really like that label.

I had no idea the the Bad Music for Bad People had become somewhat of a difficult album to find until recently. But it has. Like you, it's been in my collection forever. While I prefer OGs, I have made piece with buying reissues of records. I figure, they're great placeholders until the real thing comes along. Same as I'll keep vinyl that isn't in great condition - but it's always nice to have even an inferior copy while waiting for the gold to cross you path. Kind of like dating. Settle for what you've got at the moment, but keep looking for a better one.

Mr. Steve Carlson. We have to stop meeting like this. This was the week I thought surely I will enjoy his needle drops but finally I won’t feel compelled to hunt down an album for once. But nooooo. Because then you have to go and introduce me to Minami Deutsch. Wow what a killer band. The only potential saving grace is I can’t seem to find their albums online. But I do have one question for you if I may. I did find one of them on Bandcamp. But do you know if I can trust to order from them still? I heard they changed ownership and am not sure if I should still try to get albums from them. If you happen to have any insight into that I would greatly appreciate it. And also. Once again greatly appreciate you for another terrific video and share. You rock my man.

Great question on Bandcamp. I have had no problem with them. Most of these albums are shipped by the artist or their record label, Bandcamp is just where they are shown. I feel you can order with confidence. The only issue that can happen, though rarely, is that it can take a while to come. I get albums from Europe with no issues. This Sunday I will try to show some crappier albums lol.

That new record room is going to fill up fast...that's what any spare space is for! I got the previous MDOU Moctar, so if this one get's a Mike "Wow!" review I'm in. Mike if you get the chance you gotta see Minami live. That's when they're really in their element. I saw Kid Congo last month & he slips in a few Cramps & Gun Club songs into the set. I think if you don't already have it you should check out Kid Congo & The Pink Monkeybirds records. Like everything he's played in but with a cool Latino feel in there too. This is called classical music...tell me more Mike. Why do they need so many people on stage? I mean how many violins do you need in one band? Red Dust & Spanish Lace has a nice cover. lol Polite Jazz , very nice Mike, nicely said. You told me you saw Minami live. They got such a cool vibe. That was the favorite album that I spun. The Monkeybirds? New to me. Must be a reference to the Wizard of Oz with the flying monkeys. Does Oz really have a wizard Mike Well you do have that guy, whose name escapes me, that produces every album done in Australia. I guess he would be a Wizard. The Kid Congo group does sound very interesting, up my alley Mike. Good luck in Canada, watch out for charging Moose

LMAO. The kid looked wide eyed with that escalator ride. I don't think he liked it. At his size sitting down I bet he thought he was going down the shiny steel throat of some monster to a strange place in a strange land where strange people are. No I don't think he liked it at all, lol.... I hope Aiden got a balloon and an ice-cream right after that harrowing experience.....

Aiden liked going up the escalator but going down was a totally different thing lol. It was his first trip on one. He kept watching it and finally decided he needed to try it

Hi Steve, Bad Music For Bad People is probably my favourite Cramps record - Suzie needs Dick on New Kind Of Kick really sums it up, classic.

Maybe you know Taylor Swift starts here tour with 3 days in Stockholm and tickets like 500 dollars in a place like 50.000 and she will play 152 concerts, what shall she do with all the money?
Shall try afrorock and Miami Deutsh

Wow. $500 and it will sell out. That is just crazy Hasse. A person does not need that much money. Think how much the scalpers will sell the tickets for. Kind of sad

not the best way to introduce yourselves to the neighbors. that minami i will check out i love krautrock. just so you know. NEU is pronounced NOI,as in noise. it means new in German. cheers.

I knew I was pronouncing NEU wrong but it doesn’t even look like NOI. At least it meant New so I was saying there name in English. There should be a law against doing that Bruce. Minami had a nice kind of laid back feel that I found very enjoyable
