Is it the aero model or the regular one with the blue injectors ?? ..if you want to remove the injectors you have to remove the fuel rail you also have to undo the small metal pipe with the screw on bolt that goes to the fuel rail and then their are some bolts on the sides of the rail and one on the right side of the block then disconnect the wiring that’s there and it should come off easily I had to do mine recently I just went to a junk yard and picked up a new set of Aero Injectors (Green tops)
theres a few bolts around the fuel rail, I think they are E10 bolt heads. Remove those bolts, and pull the whole fuel rail and you should be able to replace the injectors... I have a 9-5 3.0 so it might be a little different.
Here's the info for the 4-cylinder out of saab WIS. 1. Remove the upper engine cover. 2. Remove fuse 19 with the engine running. turn the ignition key to OFF when the engine has stopped. 3. Undo the hoses for the crankcase ventilation. 4. Take out the dipstick with oil filler pipe end and plug the pipe. 5. Remove the cover and detach the throttle cable from the throttle spindle. Bend the throttle cable and holder to one side. 6 Unplug the connectors for the injectors, ignition discharge module, absolute pressure sensor, mass airflow sensor, and turbo pressure sensor. 7. Slacken the upper bolt of the wiring holder. 8. Remove the lower screws. 9.Lift up the wiring holder and bend it rearwards. 10. Loosen the cable and bend them to one side. 11. Undo the fuel lines. 12. Clean the area around the injectors with compressed air. 13. Disconnect the pressure regulator's vacuum hose. 14. Remove the ruel rail's 2 retaining bolts. 15. Carefully pry loose the rail. 16. Carefully lift the rail up and away. 17. Plug the nozzle orifices.
+Camille Dixon hell my Saab wind up having a stuck valve and I wasn't getting any compression on cylinder three took it apart didn't think the valve was bent but it was I got it un stuck and took her for a test drive slung a valve straight through the bottom of the engine
