hey Edgar - so i noticed my door seems to be broken too and falls flat on the blower. how did you take the door/filter out? i took the blower out but above the chamber of blower is where that filter is stuck. i found the broken hard plastic part of hinge of that door.

On a 2006 dodge ram 1500 slt 4.7L you can get to the actuator by removing the glove box. Super easy. When you remove the actuator a little white plastic pin will stay behind you can break the tabs with a razor blade by just using the tip it will just come out easy. Trying to push our hammering child break the housing.

Hell yeah! YOU FREAKIN ROCK FOR THIS! Looking to get a Mercenary front bumper and really wanted to swap my 04.5 to 06+ headlights and get rid of the funky gap below them on the new bumper. Just got paid for hail damage to cover the bumper and some Wider Fiberglass fenders.

Yes my door was broken same place by the hinge and took it out through fan hole. Doorman makes a replacement door for like $25 but I run my AC on recirculate 100% of the time for the coldest setting. I think your fix is mixing air from the outside its not max AC its not recirculate wont be as cold on a hot day and fumes in traffic its letting outside air in being in South Florida. there is another video where the guy blocked the fresh air inlet under the cowling with flex tape so outside air is blocked Im taking that route and super quick fix. The screws are are removed 3 ways flat head, torx 25, and 5/16 socket. The torx worked the best for me. I didn't remove the seat but it was a mother to get to the back screw all did it by feeling around and took pics with my cellphone upside down was easier to put back in then to take out

I have a 2007 2500 and it doesnt blow hard. I was searching how to clean the filter,is there a filter? After reading all these comments has me wondering if this might be my issue? If it is the issue and folllow this video, do you leave the door out as a temporary fix or do you fix it later? And if you remove the door what does this affect?

Thank you so much for your video. I was able to fix my AC in 10 minutes just by removing the fan. My plastic part was just broken laying in there and I was able to maneuver it out. 07 Ram 1500. That was getting rough in the 100° heat.

wrong wrong wrong, the door is for breathing, it closeds to breath from ur cabin only, opens to breath outside air. the real problem is ur clog filter. dirty filter-door closed low air flow. u will have a better air flow whit the door open but now u getting hotazz air into ur cabin all year long, not good for the hotazz states during summer. its like removing ur thermostat from ur coolan lines u wont get hot air during winter. yalls welcome

Can anyone tell me if this will somehow affect the air flow going to the floor or defroster vents....not sure if the door needs to be replaced to stop air from coming out of the in your face vents when you switch to floor or defrost. Thx

Hey Nice Video. Question... does removing the door affect the window defrost in the winter?

2008 Ram 3500. Symptoms, Blower operates only if high is selected. AC light on AC switch push button only illuminates and AC only operates if blower is selected to high. Fan blower motor sounds like its bearings are failing. Replaced fan blower motor assembly. Fan sounds normal with new unit, but other symptoms persisted. Replacing the resistor assembly with new unit, fixed the other issues. Thanks for posting the video.

Wait until you have to replace your thermostat in your newer model dodge ram 2500 heavy duty with the hemi motor it only cost $248. 00 and that's before tax!!! The thermostat housing and temperature sensor and thermostat are all made together and you can't just change the thermostat anymore.
