we got an '09 & it's now passed on to my son, he's 19 and totally loves the xB. heck, i bought it when he was only four. it's bone stock, zero mods, all they way to the original hubcaps. anyhoo, gonna hook him up with a pretty basic head unit, and we got a set of nvx 6.5's for the doors. we're talking about staying minimalist on the subs, since he loves the cargo space. glad i came across your channel, relevant to my stuff. thanks.

And yea it really doesn’t take much sub/box in these cars to get a good response since they’re just one big open space for trunk/cabin. Managed to score some nice old school memphis audio power reference 4x10s for my 95 chevy s10 and they work great and still sound great too.Only paid 10 bucks for them. The factory 4x10s had terrible foam rot on them. They still worked but sounded like crap with a lot of bass.
@@DaBadNewz the tweeters still work great on them too. Tested them with a little bluetooth amplifier from a cheap bluetooth speaker and they get pretty loud. They have nice bass on them.
Those stock speakers are pretty good and loud I replaced my back 6.5s in my Xbox with 6.5 and tweeter up by the window without a amp and the front stage is louder but when I put a amp on them they won’t be😂😭🤣
Nah no doubt about that! They performed a lot better when I swapped out the head unit and was able to EQ the lows out of them. But yea once you put power to em you gonna unlock that full potential

Use a 2 channel AMP with 200w RMS and hook up all 4 speakers 50w RMS x 4 =200w RMS you good to go. It will be loud and clean.
Boom! That was pretty much the plan, but I’ve since just swapped em out for some Deaf Bonce
