I am a single grandma who has built a pantry and freezer this way. My daughter recently moved from WI to Texas. I was able to tell her to shop my pantry and refrigerator for picnic meals for on the road traveling, then I was able to give her 75 percent of my monthly grocery budget to help her stock her kitchen in her new home.
My mom got Covid last year and was in a coma for 2 month. We also had a death in the family at the same time so my parents house had a rotating door for almost 4 months. She stocks up just like this and I was able to take over making meals for the plethora of family coming and going the whole time. Aside from grocery shopping for fresh (milk, produce, bread, etc.) her pantry sustained us for those 4 months easily. Disaster planning doesn’t always mean end of the world but rather real life happening.
I've been stocking like this for over 35 years. My entire family as well as friends always laughed at me, until the COVId shut down. I was the "go-to" person in my neighborhood and friends. As a single 58 year old, I still grow a garden, can ans freeze my own as well as continue to have my larders full.
I got married 16 years ago and we had an infant. I took my camera into the store and took pictures of all the prices and had a notebook of all the prices. We've always had a stockpile of sale items and it really helped us save money for our first house. I remember my friends thinking it was hilarious lol we were really young and every penny counted! Still does! We've moved on to freezing and canning as time has gone on because it's even cheaper but I still watch prices! Love your set up!
I literally gasped when I saw that opening shot of your pantry. What an absolute dream 😍😍😍 There's nothing quite like the feeling of a fully stocked pantry but yours is seriously next level. 🤩
I’ve told you in the past that because of you my family has a pantry of food! You taught me how to do this! It felt so nice when Covid hit I didn’t have to worry about trying to go for food… I already had a good stockpile. Thank you so much Kimmie for teaching me how to care for my family better
I agree with this. I knew I could feed my family plus my sister and niece if needed for about three months because I followed what Kimmy shows on UA-cam. Life saver!
just a note regarding dry bouillon vs liquid broth or bouillon - if for some reason city water or water well is not flowing you do not have to use any of your bottled water (or very little) if you have liquids from canned/carton goods...
:) yep! Also, if you have no electricity/water having pop top cans, a manual can opener, and disposable eating items (plates, bowls, forks, spoons, knives, cups) is a life saver.
You are doing a great service to others - thank you!! My father got a little upset with me when he saw that I kept pantry food on hand that I cycle through and make meals with (I don't live very far from a few WalMarts & other grocery retailers, but I have a spine injury, not too easy to shop when in pain) - listening to everyone learning to be better prepared reminds me of home ec classes I took all through middle and a couple of years in high school. I prefer to keep food on hand, in the case I am not well enough to go out, or the weather is bad. I stick to my guns, so to speak, no matter what anyone tells me about quantities of foodstuffs.
same thing happened to us. My husband’s company sent all production to China. Several years ago. We were down to my part time job. My stockpile helped us lived at almost the same level as before. Things were hard but he was able get a job he liked instead of a job he hated.
I keep a permanent marker in my pantry. Before anything gets put on a shelf, I write the expiry date on the front label so I can read it easily. My eyes are getting too old to see some of those date Stamos. Instead of buying cans of tomato paste or tomato sauce, I keep tomato powder. A little powder and water can make paste, sauce, tomato soup, etc and I can control the amount of salt. The powder takes up very little space compared to all those cans.
On 8/11/22 I had a work site fall which led to surgery and me being out of work and on workman’s comp. This was an unforeseen accident. I was never so happy to have my stockpile; not having to go to the store this past month has taken pressure off me & my husband. Luckily, my husband supported my prepping and he now sees the value of it not only going through this experience but with off setting inflation too!
@@rosemarydoran9907 thank you I broke my left wrist in 2 places and tore 2 tendons - still hurts but have 3 more weeks till I see the Doc again… I hope to be better and out of pain soon ! I keep praying and doing my hand exercises …
@@heidiburkard7464 thanks Heidi! I got my cast off and the pins out - it’s getting better all the time; still not back at work but will be soon. Yay! On the mend!
That’s what I do. The food is marked with expiration date before it goes on the shelf. I take off the shelf any food that will expire in the next three months. That food will be used before the food in the shelf is used.
PLEASE make a "Know your price" app that is community generated by location! This would be awesome! I'm sure there's someone that you could team up with to make this possible! BTW I'm so jealous that your area has case lot sales!
Your rotating pantry is my goal. Living in a condo restricts me on how much I can stockpile and my hubby is not really into stocking up. I can't wait for when we move to a house so I have more storage room and for a deep freezer too 😊
"Someone stole one from the bottom?!? Don't they know we have a system?!?" 🤣🤣🤣 I use Knorr bullion granules for chicken and beef stock. Both are sooo good, and super easy to throw a teaspoon in with a cup of water (or however much you need). Stores really well too.
Watched last year's pantry clean up and restock and now am watching this. So awesome in these times of uncertainty, lockdowns from last year, rising costs in petrol, groceries, food in general, this is awesome. They should show these planning vids in schools as good housekeeping and management skills. You're fabulous, thanks for posting and greetings and blessings from Australia :)
I wish I had the storage space for canned goods that you have. I have a small pantry, not nearly enough space. Since I am a family of one, I don’t need a coat closet, so I put shelves in it to hold small appliances and large pots for canning and soup making! I have a huge walk-in master closet. I added more shelves in there to hold all of my home canned food. I just started canning meat and meals in a jar. I still need more space, so I’m watching organization videos one after another to get ideas.
Just a tip, plastic file boxes fit boxes of pasta perfectly with enough space on the sides for moisture absorbers if needed. I use the mainstays clear file boxes. Makes it super easy to see what's in it. Also found a shelf on Amazon that perfectly fits 4 boxes per shelf and goes all the way to the ceiling. I've got almost 30 boxes on one shelf. Neat and clean and easy to find everything.
I'm team: "make my own bone broth." I've found it can be a lot more cost effective in many ways. Soup bones either at the grocery store or butcher can be pretty cheap generally. Get like, oh, eight of the good sized beef bones, a bunch of veggie peels, tops, herbs. Roaster pan. I use a counter top one that holds 28 quarts. You can definitely use a big ol' stock pot. I love the roaster because you can set it and forget it. Add appropriate amount of water, bout halfway or 3/4. Simmer 24 hours, generally takes care of itself. Instead of a store bought carton of bone broth that can run anywhere from 4-6 dollars a 12 to 16 ounce carton, for the low price of oh say, $20.00-$25.00 for bones and time that you don't even have to babysit it, you can get upwards of 3-4 gallons of broth, depending on how much your wanting to make. Same premise for chicken. Save those bones, save veggie scraps and getting past their prime vegatables. Simmer, bone broth. Strain, freeze. Lasts nicely for two years in the freezer. If you want to pressure can the broth? Years of broth at your fingertips, for a super low cost. Hope this helps! 😇😁
Love your system! I’m gonna make a price book too. Back in the day I received my food handlers permit and I must say, that knowledge has never left me. So useful! You are very good at following the safety rules. Nice! ❤
Thank you for mentioning the sales. I missed my case lot sales at the commissary in may. I just called and they are having another one next weekend. I am so excited to go and stock up now.
The pantry videos are my favourite, I find them so motivating. I'm a canner, and I'm right in the thick of it right now, and some days it just seems a bit much. Your beautiful, organized, well stocked pantry just calms me down and makes me remember that I want that kind of security and ease of dinner prep. Thank-you. Off to finish a bushel of tomatoes and peaches 😬 Side note: grocery prices of bulk produce are the same as last year. (SW Ontario, Canada)
Hi Kimmy, I want to say a big thank you for your channel, Tawra from Living on a Dime spoke highly of you, and I have been following her for years, I have been watching all of your videos, even from years past. I have learned so much and I can tell you that I am saving tons of money at the stores. I just got a free Sam's club membership, watching their site for case lot sales. Have a blessed day, now on to watching more videos, price matching, and putting together my inventory list!
Thank you Debbie! Tawra is the best! Mike & her are seriously the nicest people, I feel so blessed to have them as friends and thank God for putting them in our lives.
I understand how to stock and plan meals, but I haven’t got the funds to do so. My husband hasn’t work in a year and a half, because of physical issues. We live month to month on a very tight budget. We grow a garden and I can everything I’m able to. I also can dry beans for a number of meals, and every tomato I can get my hands on. I have a great pantry room.
There are resources available to you in the community like local food pantries and food banks, apply for SNAP/food stamps there is help out there please use it
Oh my gosh! I really do love how organized your food pantry and food storage is! You have worked so hard on this and it shows. My own personal food storage has shrunk down somewhat as my family size has decreased. I am down to only 4 people living at home full-time, but my 18yo son also works nearly full-time so is not always home for meals. Almost every Sunday my daughter-in-law, oldest son, and grandson come over for Sunday dinner. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Sunday's! Now, if I could only get that middle son of mine over it would be perfect! Kids grow up and move out and you have to adjust to that. It is so hard! My pantries are fully stocked with the things those of us who live here need and enjoy. I still have 2 deep freezers as I store things for my grown kids if they should ever need a freezer meal or something out of it. I really, really enjoy this kind of video where you share what you know and how it works for you! Thank you so much for sharing, you are the best girl!😘
My family also decreased as grown children moved out, my daughter passed away & my husband left me after 35 years. I went from 11 at home to 5 of us left here at home. Stocking, cooking and budgeting has definitely been an adjustment!! I still love to keep stocked the best I can, love having what I need here instead of having to run out for something!!
I love the hormel ham. Use it for macaroni salad, ham salad, on baked potatoes, and in a pinch as a meat in an omelet, and I can't remember what else. It is one of my favorite canned meats, along with chicken and tuna. I'm excited for the price you found it at. In Oklahoma we don't get the caselot sales.
🙋🏻♀️ Kimmy, Just an FYI, you can make your own brown sugar with regular sugar & molasses. You just mix it up with your mixer. Same thing with powdered sugar. You just blitz it in your blender.
I love cream of chicken. I don't like mushrooms (bad experience many years ago) so I always substitute cream of chicken for any recipe that requires cream of mushroom. You've inspired my organization in my food storage!
I've taken a leaf out of your book Kimmy, I now have a 3 - 6 month pantry. Only the 2 of us but I was inspired when you said think of what you make and buy the shelf stable ingredients for it. We make/eat a lot of Italian and Indian food, so I'm well stocked for at least 6 months on those items. Unfortunately I'm running out of space. Thanks for sharing xx
Thank you for all of your teachings. I've learned so much from you. My husband now makes it a game to see 'what do we actually need to buy?' lol, I get to answer, 'nope, got it...nope got that too' it's in the pantry :) I just started, but right now just building on the things we eat the most. And we are team 'better than bouillon'

Good morning! I wish we had case lots here, but, I try my best to be as conservative as I can in meal planning. Thanks for a fantastic video sharing! Blessings to you and yours 🙂
You are SO lucky to have stores that do the bulk items like wheat berries and Augason Farms. Even buying from Azure Standard and Amazon, the prices are double what you are able to get there. We never even have case lot sales here. Your pantry looks great! Ours is close but not quite as full.
The Hormel Ham is very good. I used to get it for making ham salad sammies. Well, Walmart doesn't carry it here anymore. What do I do now? Glad you asked! I always have leftover ham from the holidays so I save a few big chunks and just run it through my food processer and then freeze it! Not only is it great for sammies, but to add to my split pea soup! I love to can my split pea soup so I cook the peas, veg, and broth in crock pot. Use the emersion blender to make it all smooth, then I add the chopped up ham, can and now the consistency and color is spot on!
I wish we had a case lot store. This is great. I just started a very small sort of prepper style shelves in my pantry. I add to it several times a month. But I’ve learned some tips from this to help me. Thank you !!!
I am simply green with envy over the stock in that grocery store! I am not aware of case lot sales near me. Wah! I have discovered ALDIs tho! So easy to grab a case of 12 cans. Ok, two cases of each variety of veg and fruit…. My pantry is looking GOOD.
Thank you for sharing this stock up. I’ve always couponed and love a good BOGO. But after the events of the past couple of years, I came across your channel. The things I’ve learned have been life changing. I had a working pantry, but never thought of a 3-6 months, let alone long term storage. What a blessing it has been to have food and be able to shop my own pantry. I’m still trying to plan meals more frequently, but the peace of knowing I have food is amazing. Truly feel God put you in my path to teach me. Thank you so much.
That was a lovely message . I've always all my adult life prepared for anything . Always had a pantry and cooked from scratch . I'm old school tho , so maybe that where I got it fro , but grew up in the 60s where there wasn't any convenience foods , at least I didn't see any . So its easier I think when you have always been used to preparing . It's a good thing to do, no matter what your situation is. I could live off your huge pantry for years 😆 . Looks great too . 👍
Your pantry is lovely. I'm working on cleaning and organizing my pantry. I need to wrap my cereals, flour, pancake mixes, biscuit mixes, cake mixes, rice, pasta, box potatoes, etc, in gallon freezer bags to keep bugs out of them. It's more work but well worth the effort. I'm going to have a big garden next year and already have my seeds.
I really enjoy your pantry organization and restock videos. The majority of my pantry is filled with home canned goods and homegrown dehydrated veggies as well as a few (very few) store bought canned goods. Until I found your channel, I had never heard of case lot sales and have never seen case lot sales in my area of East Texas. Love your inspiration and encouragement. Thanks!
Thank you for your posts on your home grocery store........I really like the idea of storing your extra pasta in pails. Thanks for all your storage and buying tips. Also, your storage area is sooooo organized. You mentioned the grape jelly....I use 1 bottle of grape jelly and 1 bottle of Baby Ray's BBQ sauce with meatballs cooked in the crockpot. It's always a hit. From Ottawa, Ontario
Hi, 1st time here. With the pineapple, I love using them with ham & pineapple pizza, or adding baby shrimp to the pizza too. Or add the pineapple to chicken.
I was we had cased lot sales. But I do buy in bulk, when I can afford it. When I move into my own house I will have a dry storage room. I hadn't thought of a 6-12 month dry storage room. Thinking of a room for deep freezers, & a microwave. I suffer from OCD!! So, I'm going to be ordering boxes to stock my supplies into my dry storage shelves. My girl bought one of those things to suck the air out of a meat package, when its being repacking it.
A great tip for you (if you have the space to set up the shelves) - if you allow walking space on the back side of the shelves, it will be easier to stock new items in the back and keep older ones in the front. And labels help your helpers put things where you want them. Peace
An SHTF isn't always national or international. It can be personal. While we were getting the pandemic ebt fuunds I got my family of 2 set up for a winter and I have just maintained it. We could go months without major shopping. I also get meat marked down and freeze it.
I have always had a stocked pantry, not like your od course. I also canned food from my garden. Now I am retired and live in a 399 Sq ft Tiny House. I have been watching your channel and have been inspired to make room in our loft to do our emergency pantry. We live in a rural area but I am enlisting my family who live near Sam's and Costco to help us out. We do live on a fixed income. Thanks for inspiration. Blessing from the Tiny House in Texas.
Would love to have a pantry like your's. Just don't have the room. But I will be making room in the basement real soon. Thank you so much for teaching me these hints. Just love you
Something I do when I am trying to stay within my budget I normally write down each price of everything even down to the exact price with a calculator too with weighing them like fruits and vegetables. Sometimes it's helpful for the register people if they don't know the price about something I can show them, so it's been helpful. Then I have it to know what my prices are as long as I save my list, it's been such a great way to always see the prices for many years. Thanks for sharing this and I love all you're channel and thoughts, it's been so helpful keep up the great work and many blessings!
I have learned a lot from you over the years. I have been watching for about 3 years I think. Our home doesn't have a pantry and very little cabinet space. I converted one of our closets in our bedroom (we have 2) into a pantry and I try to keep it well stocked. To everyone who doesn't think they can achieve a well stocked pantry, think outside the box!
Love this!!! Yes, what space can you give up for your food storage. In our first home we had a coat closet by the front door. We used it for the pantry instead.
Good morning, I feel the same way about mushroom soup something about it. I love mushrooms 🍄 but not the soup 🥣. Yelp we go through some mac&cheese also . My grandkids love mac&cheese. Thank you for sharing.
Never see case lot sales in Colorado. Love the idea of your price book. Valerie’s pantry inventory list is detailed with space to add addition items. Thank you Kimmy, great video
To make inventory easy with rotation I take a sharpie and write the year on the side of the can or jar. Sample if I bought can that said best by June 12,22, I write 22 on it. 23 or 24. Then family know use the smallest number first. It makes it easier to see and keep straighten.
I like it that you are actually organized. I see others pantries and everything is all over the place. That drives me bonkers. How do they know what they have? Organization is essential
I just watched your video when you made meals for your friend. I have to say you are not only an awesome cook, because I will be making those all; but you are also a great friend. To be cooking until about 1 am?! Thank you for the inspiration!

This is such great information! I’m trying to organize my pantry (it’s a disaster). I’m hoping I can somehow take it to some kind of system that will work for me
Lipton dry soup mix. There is a copycat recipe for it . BUT Caution go easy on parsley.. I make in bulk and store in the snack baggies size , for serving sizes. Then store all snack bag in a large baggie. So there altogether. Note I use powders not the salts
I have a stocked pantry this size also...but what I do differently is I take a black sharpie pen and write on the front of every can/jar/box/bag.. the best by/use by date on it...that way I can clearly see the dates. Makes it so much easier to grab the ones needed to be used first and keep the stock rotated...so many times nowadays the manufacturers are putting the use by dates on places on the product that make it almost impossible to find or even read....once I write the date on the front of the product, I never have to look for it again.....and yes, it is part of my OCD, it is a tiny bit time consuming to write the date on every pantry product, but it works for me_______:>)
When grocery shopping always read the label for sodium amount and serving size for those who have high blood pressure before you do your pantry and freezer stock up
I have 3 pantries full of food and 1 refrigerator and 2 freezers full of food plus a stock pile of laundry stuff that I got on sale , I have to have my sale fliers because I can use them for price match or get it cheaper by using the flyers
I am always in awe every time you show us your pantry. I remember when I first started learning about the Internet in 1998, I followed Amy Dacyczyn and learned about a price book. I had one for several years and gradually got out of the habit of using it. I really need to start back, although with prices changing almost daily it will be harder to keep up with them LOL Thanks for mentioning it!
As for the broth/bouillon question, I have Better Than Bouillon 4-5 different flavors), bouillon powders (ham, beef, chicken and tomato), cartons/cans (beef and chicken), as well as home canned chicken broths. Each has its own flavor, depending on what I am cooking.
When I was young, tuna came in a 7-ounce can, if I remember correctly. I knew that it had shrunk to 5 ounces over the last few decades, but I haven't needed to buy it for a while, so didn't know it has now shrunk to 4!!! Thank you for the heads up. I prefer chicken broth - especially homemade!

Sometimes if I see something and it's a penny or two more at the store I'm at, I'll usually get it as opposed to driving 20 min away to the other store. If I'm going around a couple towns, I shop for the cheapest sale.
If you are making that booklet so people can take it into a store to track prices, would you consider adding a spiral to the top so it's easier to use in stores? Love what you are teaching us here! You are a wonderful teacher 🤗
Thank you so much for the content you put out. Following your advice and that of a few other youtubers (with a little modification as we are in the UK, and we also have different dietary requirements due to several food intolerances and being plant based) we now have a pantry that will last at least two months and is continuing to grow every time I shop whilst sticking to my budget (mostly 🤣)
I did my yearly check on my canned goods and had to throw out 5 cans.....last year was only one can....so I have to plan meal kits so I can use up pantry items more often...and do more date checking....goal is zero waste.
Loved the video, thank you. I need to learn how to do this, but with all of my home canned products. I spend so much time canning during the canning season and then it is hard for me to come up with complete meals as my family is so picky on what they will eat. I am going to watch a few more of your videos and also take a look at your inventory sheets and see if they will help me get better organized. Blessings to you always
Az used to have case lot sales years and years go I seriously miss case lot sales at Fry's. I wish they would bring it back. I gree with your anonymous viewer. I have watched your channel for years and it has helped my family so many times. Your advice and what you teach has been an inspiration. My favorite saying you have taught me is p.o.p. progress over perfection, and I live by it now, so much less stress now. I have also learned to meal plan better, shop from my shelves, then look at the ads, then finalize my meal plan if needed. I have also started exploring other options as far as I know can some of my own foods and dehydrate other foods. I'm paying more attention to the things that we like in our home and not just buying things because they seem like a good deal but then it goes to wast. This is also help me to cook more from scratch and not do so much prepackaged products. And I utilize my freezer so much more LOL. Thank you for all you do and everything you're teaching you are an inspiration to so many people Kimmy🥰

If at all possible can you educate us on best til, use by, best before and items with just a date on them. I'd love to know thier approximate shelf life. There are times when items just get moved to unexpected areas of the pantry and you look at a date and wonder if its fresh still? I hate wasting food, makes me feel like a waster. But, I'm definitely a "better be safe than sorry" kinda a person. I've been stockpiling for about 4 years now definitely always a work in progress. But I have to say well worth it. I've learned you just never know what's around the corner. And having food on hand is one less worry. Thank you for your vlogs, support and encouragement we all get further because of it. Bless you All....
A lot of times you just have to check. I needed to make some cornbread for a friend last night and pulled my buttermilk out of the back of the fridge. The date was in July. But buttermilk is by nature curdled anyway right? So I poured a tiny bit into a bowl and tasted it. It tasted like it always does! So I used it. I only use buttermilk for cornbread and homemade ranch dressing.
This is such a great video! I started a rotating pantry in March 2020 and I absolutely love this way of life. Is this your pantry that you use for your day to day cooking or is there a smaller one somewhere that I've missed? Thanks for the great content :)
Good morning to you from this Mom of 6 here in Texas! With our family, many cats, & 2 dogs (& a partridge in a pear tree, LOL) we stock up also...usually bigger cans from Sams...but also regular sized cans from Walmart too! But I am always watching the expiration dates, as canned food can go bad. Thank you for sharing, God bless! XOXO

My mom got Covid last year and was in a coma for 2 month. We also had a death in the family at the same time so my parents house had a rotating door for almost 4 months. She stocks up just like this and I was able to take over making meals for the plethora of family coming and going the whole time. As a single 58 year old, I still grow a garden, can ans freeze my own as well as continue to have my larders full.

just a note regarding dry bouillon vs liquid broth or bouillon - if for some reason city water or water well is not flowing you do not have to use any of your bottled water (or very little) if you have liquids from canned/carton goods...
I didn’t think of that
:) yep! Also, if you have no electricity/water having pop top cans, a manual can opener, and disposable eating items (plates, bowls, forks, spoons, knives, cups) is a life saver.

I prefer to keep food on hand, in the case I am not well enough to go out, or the weather is bad. I stick to my guns, so to speak, no matter what anyone tells me about quantities of foodstuffs.
It never gets old watching you work through your restock. I love watching anything filmed in your food storage room. Such a great system.
Right?! There's something oddly soothing about watching the process.
@@PlowAndPantryHomestead Yes! Soothing and comforting. I think it pulls on my security and self-suffiency heart strings.
same thing happened to us.
How do you make the powder
@@pamelahill7164save the skin when canning tomatoes, dehydrate it, and put it in the blender until it’s fine enough.
Hope you are feeling better soon.
@@rosemarydoran9907 thank you I broke my left wrist in 2 places and tore 2 tendons - still hurts but have 3 more weeks till I see the Doc again… I hope to be better and out of pain soon ! I keep praying and doing my hand exercises …
@@melaniesanangelo4367 oh that sounds very painful!
Get well soon
@@heidiburkard7464 thanks Heidi! I got my cast off and the pins out - it’s getting better all the time; still not back at work but will be soon. Yay! On the mend!
I use a sharpie marker and write the dates on the fronts of all the cans and boxes. Makes rotating easier and knowing what needs to be used first.
That’s what I do as well. Much easier for my senior eyes. 😊
I love the turkey spam so much better then regular spam...its hard to find but well worth it when you can find it.
I’ve never even heard of spam made with turkey. 😮I’d like to try it.
The stores you have available are a prepper’s dream. We have nothing like that. And the prices are crazy low.
your ability to organize is so inspiring
I'm team: "make my own bone broth."
I've found it can be a lot more cost effective in many ways.
I’m breaking a sweat watching you do all that organizing. You are my inspiration🥰
Thank you
Love your system!
Hey, We use cream of chicken to make a potatoe scallop to go with baked chicken pieces... try it that way, it's really REALLY good.
You made me realize how and when to buy certain items…love your ideas
Try some rosemary and also chili flakes in your tomato soup. Also celery seeds as a different flavour to add to tomato soup. Both delicious.
Thank-you. Off to finish a bushel of tomatoes and peaches 😬
Side note: grocery prices of bulk produce are the same as last year.
Your husband is blessed! My wife rotates her shoes quarterly!
That’s great!
It's good in Mac n cheese too.
🙋🏻♀️ Kimmy, Just an FYI, you can make your own brown sugar with regular sugar & molasses. You just mix it up with your mixer. Same thing with powdered sugar. You just blitz it in your blender.
Use cane white suger, and molasses to make brown suger. Just saw that in another video.

I'm totally gonna try that pizza sauce recipe! We go through sooo much- monthly appetizer dinner, pizza, baked Italian sandwiches, etc. 💜🌵
Yup-Im a green enchilada sauce person too. Thanks for sharing all your knowledge
I literally just did this very thing this morning, and compiled a list of case lot items to purchase at two different stores.
You are so organized! Really good advice. Thank you so much!- ☺Helen
Your pantry is beautiful! So organized. Wish we had case lot sales in MN. But I do keep a log of pricing too. Helps!
Thank you for teaching me SO MUCH over all these years
I have been watching your videos for many years now
Thanks again!
Glad to help
I was we had cased lot sales. But I do buy in bulk, when I can afford it. When I move into my own house I will have a dry storage room. I hadn't thought of a 6-12 month dry storage room. Thinking of a room for deep freezers, & a microwave. I suffer from OCD!! So, I'm going to be ordering boxes to stock my supplies into my dry storage shelves. My girl bought one of those things to suck the air out of a meat package, when its being repacking it.
i love cream of chicken soup
esp on a cold rainy day or after being out in the rain
a hot bowl of it can be very healing
Cream of celery homemade is so good. Fills in so many recipes.
Container would be a great suggestion
I have learned a lot from you over the years. I have been watching for about 3 years I think. Our home doesn't have a pantry and very little cabinet space. I converted one of our closets in our bedroom (we have 2) into a pantry and I try to keep it well stocked. To everyone who doesn't think they can achieve a well stocked pantry, think outside the box!
Love this!!! Yes, what space can you give up for your food storage. In our first home we had a coat closet by the front door. We used it for the pantry instead.
I had a friend who buy toilet paper bulk or on sales and store it underneath the beds.
I’ve done it too !,, in my basement 👍🥫🥫🥫
I need to do this, but I doubt I could ever fill it the way I'd love too. I love her pantry and wished we had case lot sales. How awesome is that.
Good morning, I feel the same way about mushroom soup something about it. I love mushrooms 🍄 but not the soup 🥣. Yelp we go through some mac&cheese also . My grandkids love mac&cheese. Thank you for sharing.

Lipton dry soup mix. There is a copycat recipe for it . BUT Caution go easy on parsley..
I make in bulk and store in the snack baggies size , for serving sizes. Then store all snack bag in a large baggie. So there altogether. Note I use powders not the salts
Cream of chicken soup is my comfort food when I’m sick.
I have a stocked pantry this size also...but what I do differently is I take a black sharpie pen and write on the front of every can/jar/box/bag.. the best by/use by date on it...that way I can clearly see the dates. Makes it so much easier to grab the ones needed to be used first and keep the stock rotated...so many times nowadays the manufacturers are putting the use by dates on places on the product that make it almost impossible to find or even read....once I write the date on the front of the product, I never have to look for it again.....and yes, it is part of my OCD, it is a tiny bit time consuming to write the date on every pantry product, but it works for me_______:>)
I first started keeping a price book in the 90s after reading The Tightwad Gazette (Amy Dacyczyn)! I still do.
Starting my food storage ~~ so excited ❤😊
As for the broth/bouillon question, I have Better Than Bouillon 4-5 different flavors), bouillon powders (ham, beef, chicken and tomato), cartons/cans (beef and chicken), as well as home canned chicken broths. Each has its own flavor, depending on what I am cooking.
your food storage area certainly seems to be one of your happy places! You are so happy going through it. ❤

Yup! ❤️
If you are making that booklet so people can take it into a store to track prices, would you consider adding a spiral to the top so it's easier to use in stores? Love what you are teaching us here! You are a wonderful teacher 🤗
I love it! Thanks
That’s awesome!
I did my yearly check on my canned goods and had to throw out 5 cans.....last year was only one can....so I have to plan meal kits so I can use up pantry items more often...and do more date checking....goal is zero waste.
Why did you have to throw them out? What was wrong with them?
I’d love more recipe ideas with canned chicken.

The is so impressive. You are such a smart organized person. Thank you for sharing. Great video!!💜
This is such a great video! I started a rotating pantry in March 2020 and I absolutely love this way of life. Is this your pantry that you use for your day to day cooking or is there a smaller one somewhere that I've missed? Thanks for the great content :)
