Most of the characters that were cut played exactly the same to each other. In fact, most characters played exactly the same in the first game. Don't think people are missing out on much. Doesn't matter if your character is in the game if they play exactly like 4 other ones

And Lincoln being the main character of the show feels like such an odd omission, but then again Lucy does have a much more interesting moveset.

Before knowing there would be cuts, when the banner for the game leaked people thought it just didn't include every character, when in reality it was the entire roster. If that doesn't say how devastating the cuts are, I don't know what does.
Lincoln Loud is the most devastating for me personally, they could be changing stage music too, but the Loud House stage theme was my favourite IN THE ENTIRE GAME.

With Nick All-Star Brawl being smaller it's better if 50% of the roster isn't made up of Spongebob and TMNT
For REAL. Sandy is in the BFBB trio of SpongeBob characters. I think she's the worst cut alongside Hugh, but a lot of them are just terrible cuts in general

The only cut that DIDN'T hurt me was Powdered Toast Man. It was obvious he either needed a MAJOR update, or to just be removed entirely. The rest of them were so good tho, it sucks they were cut.

They might do a veteran character pack for dlc but that would be crazy then again I guess if you want the character you want it could be a genius idea but I don't think everyone would be on board with that idea at all. people are saying the cut characters might be unlockable through the campaign mode but I'm not sure. they might want to keep it as a surprise but if people want to know if there in the game why make them think they aren't by not showing them especially by now because the game releases in less than a month.

im honestly surprised Hugh is cut. after the big influx of people wanting him in. and he was like the last character added. and then he isnt in the next game? with his son Jimmy??? although it doesnt help that every character in the new game looks to be rebuilt from the ground up essentially, so i think they just did what they could and tried to keep the roster fresh while they were at it. keep who is expected, but bring in some new stuff so its not just the "same roster".
Actually Hugh Neutron became an npc alongside powdered toast man, Shredder became a boss, Lincoln and Helga became background characters, Leonardo and Michelangelo make cameos and rest were removed like they were never there.

Why are they allergic to putting all four ninja turtles in the game? They even got rid of Shredder but kept April?! Where's the logic???
April has boobs, there is no room for logic when the gazongas come into play. Also weird because I thought that Leonardo and Michelangelo were the more popular turtles 🤔

The fact that Hugh didn’t come back is actually insane to me considering he was like the most wanted character for the first game’s dlc. Maybe he’ll come back though I doubt they will be done updating it

The only cut that DIDN'T hurt me was Powdered Toast Man. It was obvious he either needed a MAJOR update, or to just be removed entirely. The rest of them were so good tho, it sucks they were cut.

Let's be honest guys, they are gonna add some of them in updates. There is literally 0 reason for them to not do that.
They didin't add them in the first place, cause they wanted to give us new characters first, I guess.

They'll probably sell them as DLC and them make you grind for them.
They might do a veteran character pack for dlc but that would be crazy then again I guess if you want the character you want it could be a genius idea but I don't think everyone would be on board with that idea at all.
people are saying the cut characters might be unlockable through the campaign mode but I'm not sure.
they might want to keep it as a surprise but if people want to know if there in the game why make them think they aren't by not showing them especially by now because the game releases in less than a month.

They could have still given us new faces without making the cut to the 11 we know of. Plus those character cuts make no sense at all. They're must minimizing content like the last game.

im honestly surprised Hugh is cut. after the big influx of people wanting him in. and he was like the last character added. and then he isnt in the next game? with his son Jimmy???
although it doesnt help that every character in the new game looks to be rebuilt from the ground up essentially, so i think they just did what they could and tried to keep the roster fresh while they were at it. keep who is expected, but bring in some new stuff so its not just the "same roster".
Losing Toph really hurts, I can only imagine her interactions with Aang, Azula, Korra, and Zuko in the campaign mode
Actually Hugh Neutron became an npc alongside powdered toast man, Shredder became a boss, Lincoln and Helga became background characters, Leonardo and Michelangelo make cameos and rest were removed like they were never there.
