I had a 1979 LTD 1000. Even though it's been 36 years since I parted ways with it, I still think about that awesome motorcycle a lot and the blast I had riding it. I miss it terribly...
For all the haters on here,😬! You've gotta be kiddin me! This is a perfect machine! This is the way we used to roll. An awesome motorcycle to capture some nostalgia on.
My first street bike was a red 1978 LTD 1000, then years later I bought a 1980 Black and silver LTD 1000...sold it to my brother in law and he still rides it!
Bought 78 Ltd new in Anaheim. 1year later my brother in law totaled it. In 1998 I bought a 76 900 Ltd still riding it 1015 kit mild frame rake dyna electric.
I'm crying. Had 4 or 5 of these bikes. Last one burn up while I was working on it. I'm sad that I ever sold any of my old Kawasakis or my old Chevrolets or all my other old cars. Whoever dreamed the world would become this ugly useless girly girl world of cars that we live in today where they all look the same no matter how much you pay for the junk
Anybody know where I could find a nice 78-80 KZ1000LTD? I had a 78 new. Wish I would have kept it. Getting the fever to get back on one. This bike was BOSS!
Right on. I know it's easy to tell on a bike, but without a light I might make the bike lurch starting it lol. Sure wouldn't be the first time I've done it
on that bike it's not hard to find neutral. One of the features of the bike was a positive neutral finder. You can't shift past neutral from first unless you are rolling.

Hola...felicitaciones...te pregunto...que bujías lleva está moto ?
Do I see a set of 29mm smoothbores on that? You don't see a lot of those Starr
Racing sidewinder pipes. Really nice bike.

Anybody know if a KZ1000 LTD seat would fit on a KZ1000 g1 classic if you took the computer out?
Red Bearded One No, the Z1 Classic has a longer seat as the bike didn’t have the tailpiece/duckbill in the rear.
Is this still for sale I need to have one of those bad
What's the going price for it if it's for sale
Love everything but tail light.
why only 1 front rotor?
Paco Gutierrez for looks, kind of a low profile look, Z1R rim with a low profile drag tire.
