Another nice review! Question , can you explain the term "in register" that you mention about the decals? I've heard it many times but never understood exactly what it means or how to determine it. Thanks!
Moe, Good question! Proper register refers to the relative location of successive color passes on a decal. If the star in the Air Force insignia is off-center (shifted) r lettering isn't outlined symmetrically, the decal is said to be out-of-register. You see it more often on older decals. IMIB, Sorry you had trouble with those. There are some things you can do to preserve decals from older kits. If the shrink wrap is gone or they were stored in high heat or high humidity environments you'll need to take some precautions. Lightly spray the decal sheet with Testor's Decal fixative or clear lacquer. Air dry thoroughly. Cut the decals out of the sheet individually and apply with setting solutions. That usually does it! Pup trailers r old school
The Decals are awful mine fell apart and I had 2 kits open the other one and most of it's Decals fell apart
