when you back into a tight spot. don't worries to the rear trailer, always watch your rear wheel it will line you up every time even when hooking to a trailer the rear wheel should be lined with the corner of a trailer.
I'm pretty sure you've been to truck driver school so you pretty much have the basics, I'm gonna tell you what I was told when I started in the 80s, take your time, drive the way you feel comfortable and try not to hit shit and you'll be just fine. Good luck to ya.
another thing Chris take your time. Better safe then sorry. another tip. when making a right turn from an intersection? pull forward till your front right tire is at the center line. watch your left mirror as you turn the trailer should line up with it. this will give you plenty of space from the curb
your doing good checking your lights. also check your king pin. make sure the bar is across and locked. and get a hammer make sure all the tires are inflated. and not flat.
Great videos, man very informative you making it look like Swift might be the company to work for might be a place to be be safe out there keep trucking🚛🚛🚛
Advice on company not tryna go with super mega carriers but might not have a choice since smaller companies want me to b over 21 yrs old currently not even got a job w my cdls 9 mo experience
Yes this was an easy back I’d say from some of the shit I’ve done and you took the more difficult route but still got it backed in without hitting anything. All that really matters.
Your airline shouldn’t be tangled. If your airlines touch the catwalk, you should get the springs holding the airlines replaced or reposition the rings holding the three airlines together.
All you had to do Brother is pull forward. It’s no trailers in front of you. What are you doing? Pull forward straight up and straight back. You don’t have any trailers in front of you. You have the big open space up there in front of you.
Yeah this made me have a good chuckle lmao. I dont have my CDL or any training and I was just sitting there laughing about the insane space in front of him and he didn't pull up a single time lmfao.
You made it hard on yourself. Look at all that room in front of you even though that trailer is right there in front of you had all that to pull up pull up toward the grass and back straight in at an angle if you need it a little angle back in Nothing in front of You

Appreciate you sharing your travels. Don't pay any mind to the haters.

They're just braided so they stay together nicely with the loom.
