I think for the price it's a great option to consider. I Demo'd the SC48TX a couple weeks ago and I really enjoyed this machine. The one I demo had a blade and it worked phenomenally.
Thanks for sharing!
Iii😮😅😊😊😅@@mustangrebuilder
That is a nice machine.
I’d be curious how you actually like it compared to the 2550
Wish Vermeer would get these new machines up on their website
Hey going to equipment show tomorrow.. what can I make a video of for you ...hp range
@@mustangrebuilder anything that eats stumps lol. Seriously would like something on Vermeer’s new big gas grinder if possible. Thanks for asking and all the informative videos!
You will have it and in the next few weeks I will also be using Vermeers new big gun machine @@BoxofRain-ff4td
@@mustangrebuilder would really appreciate your input on that machine along with video. My concern would be that’s it a hydraulic drive gasser, would it really be faster that the shaft drive diesel 70tx
We shall see
They'd built a SC 50, then the 70. Did it have the torque to be something you'd honestly consider buying?

Naaaawwww too much you have to do jus to start grinding
Well that’s a little disappointing. I’m sure it’s a good machine but as an owner of a Vermeer SC70TX with the 67 hp Cat engine I could never see buying that. I was really hoping they were going to release a higher horsepower version of the track grinder. I’d like to see 100 horsepower on tracks. Thank you for the video though.
Having run the 70, I wouldn't go from a 70 to a 48 you would be very disappointed.
If you're below 40hp going up to this machine is a huge improvement.
Daniel don't worry in 2 weeks I will be testing there 100hp plus machine
There's no comparison between the 48 and the 70 torque wise. The 70 is way better machine. You're also going to pay a lot more money. Really all depends what you're in the market for? Been in business a while or you want to upgrade deal with the 70. If you can afford a 70 go with the 70. Just starting out and you can afford a 48. It's a hell of a machine .
