@lifeonadime4703 Ended up being cams that had way more of a lift than the engine should've had 😅 However, I do miss this car quite a bit because of how it sounded, minus the exhaust leak I could never figure out
Either way you go, I think you'd be happy! Both are Fun, and more power with a V8 Camaro is handled a lot better than with a L4 4 cylinder. Now I've heard people put like 500hp into the stock bottom end of an LSJ block and the engine be fine though as long as the top end is built. This one is currently at 331hp due to lack of fueling mods. So i guess the next upgrade will be fuel pump and fuel regulator. There was a guy who had basically the same setup as me but with fuel pump and return style system and the TVS1320 supercharger pushed over 400hp. So it honestly depends, but despite talking about modifying, they're both super reliable vehicles
Thank you Joe! I'm not sure which car you have but I just recommend stage 2 or 3 cams because the stage 4 cams are just too much for daily driving to be honest
Really never kept track, but I know that it was a good bit. I'd say 10k might be a decent number to budget around. With a block, internals, turbo swap kit, tune, suspension components, wheels/tires, and all other upgrades 10k would allow you to make it into something decent
It's alright for what it is. I wanted more, but want it to be safe more. You'll more than likely want more after you get the stage 3 kit. I started with the stage 3 kit, then TVS and with where it's at now I'd still like more, but gonna keep it how it is. Easier that way 😂
Wasnt anything wrong with it. That was the stage 4 cams from OTTP making it sound like that along with a nasty exhaust leak. Cars long gone and parted out now🤷♂️
@@mikealfieri641 it unfortunately didn't have an upgraded fuel pump at the time so it only saw 331fwhp and 267tq, which was decent compared to the stock 205hp. It ended up having a bad oil leak and fueling issues so I got rid of it
My 98 Eldorado is faster, if I don't strip the head bolts in the process 😂😂 I got the aftermarket kit but I still don't trust it. Took it to 160 and the oil was MILK when I got home
This is an idle video though, so of course it would be faster lol. And the cobalt is currently down due to a fuel upgrade so I can get the most out of it. And that's no good, milky is never a good sign 😔
Never in my life thought I'd hear a 4cyl blower surge lol. Love it 🤘

@@seanthemon it's a sick build for sure bro. Iv always wanted one. Maybe someday I'll get my chance 🤘
Nice, I got the ion sedan that can't be tuned, but I did see a comp cam that I would definitely put in the car!
I'd just keep it stock, way more reliable that way
I like how you made the quad lights!!
They definitely set the car off! I didn't make them though. There's a guy on Facebook that specializes in Cobalt SS taillights
@@seanthemon talking about adrian?
@@JeffCobalt That be the guy🤘
Just wish he would've worked on other model tails too
Little late but those are revolver taillights
if I don't find a Camaro for my 1st car, I'm getting a Cobalt SS. Dead serious.

@@8SecSleeper I'd rather keep it in a package that doesn't burst into flames. I like the Fiero, don't get me wrong, but I say no to that idea.
cobalt all the way bro, for a first car especially. fwd, good car to get used to a lil more power w, n still get decent mpg lol
nice car man i want to get my car cammed also it sounds good.

@@seanthemon alright thanks, cant wait to buy one of these.
E85? What's your hp looking like?
Not 100% sure, but I know it's between 330-350 to the wheels. Not recommended to go above 350whp with stock sleeves unfortunately
And yes I'm on E85
Not bad for a FWD beater
I'm going stage 3 e85. Expecting about 280 on the LSJ

The Stage 4 Cams are made by Comp Cams and sold by OTTPerformance
