Your content and opinions, IMO, are right on. Before I watched your opinion on Brad Stanfield, I had the same opinion. I am a retired pharmacologist and caught many errors. On the other hand, David Sinclair isn't perfect - no one is, but I follow his protocol and adopt some of it. I even tried going vegan and that was a disaster - found out later it was too many oxalates. I make a 'brain stuff', which is a liposomal concoction with NMN, fisetin, Red Korean ginseng, berberine, AKG, and TMG. It lights up my brain! My husband also notices if we run out. We are in our 70s and I still feel young, no inflammation and lots of strength and energy. I owe this to following people like you and incorporating these practices into my routine. Routine is important! Also, I agree about fear. Your analogy of a fearful driver is spot on and I'll use that in the future. I always say 'fear is the opposite of faith' - That has been so true in the past 4 years. Thank you!

Science is a work in progress. Scientists provide their findings, then modify them as new research comes out. We are fortunate to have access to the evolving studies from researchers with varying backgrounds. Stanfield’s personal attack on Sinclair is ugly. He appears to be using Sinclair’s name to attract attention to himself. It is acceptable to express disagreement with another’s findings but never to incite the hate Stansfield has that is witnessed by his followers comments. I owe my current vitality to what I have learned from Sinclair and am immensely grateful.

The problem with the likes if Sinclair/Longo Vs Attia/Stansfield/Rhonda is that they basically have competing theories about longevity. So you have to choose a camp. The lower protein, fasting, fasting mimicking camp or the higher protein, more exercise camp.

Sinclair profited massively on resveratrol - which he claims was $7M- $8M of personal profit, but may have given him much, much more - and the way his book popularized NMN, and his attempt to profit on it, show the true intent, in my opinion. Sinclair/Longo (and almost all pro full time Phd Longevity researchers) - vs - Attia/Stansfield/Rhonda" . Lower protein, fasting - or - higher protein, more exercise. Personally I trust professional longevity researchers like Longo. It's popular to claim to you can live the longest AND have big muscles, eat lots of protein (double the RDA!). This gets book sales and YT views. And drives people to the supplements like what Brad sells. Longo BTW makes no profits from his books or the FMD packs - they all go to charity. PlantChompers says he is working on video to address these very issues on protein, I await that as he really does his research in my view.

To quote him, "Over age 65, you should slightly increase protein intake but also increase consumption of fish, eggs, white meat, and products derived from goats and sheep to preserve muscle mass. Consume beans, chickpeas, green peas, and other legumes as your main source of protein."
Also Michael Greger has pointed to a lot of studies that say weight training alone is enough to maintain strength as get older. Most people get frail as they stop exercising/working when get older. That makes sense and studies back it up. And remember, it's women who live longer than men (less muscle mass).
