Drink heavily. You'll get less done, but you won't remember not doing it. Seriously though...my best stress release when I have a lot to get done is to tackle a small project to get a sense of accomplishment and check one thing off the list. Doing something fun or as a stress reliever doesn't usually take my mind off the stress until I start making progress on what is stressing me out.
All my rigs are either done or waiting for parts that are out for delivery. Had a bad day at work and just wanted to relax. Monday there is not Matt or Josh so I just started gathering junk from my parts drawers. Before midnight I had a complete rolling chassis. Need electronics and a body but it was very relaxing to just build without a plan .
These days hitting the Pickleball court alleviates the stress of life, work, etc. Honestly any physical exercise for any length of time helps me out immensely. Tinkering on R/C's of course and a session on my drum kit always does the trick. Then off to those tasks feeling refreshed. Good luck to you and love the SNU!
Great week. Starting a class 1 build series, so the tires were helpful haha. As for the question. Going out and not filming is nice. Working on the trucks is nice. But really also chatting to people about rc is great and watching UA-cam videos haha.
Building and driving is my getaway and stress relief. If I don’t have anything to build a good complete tear down and rebuild on what ever truck needs it the most.
I usually go for a ride on my motorcycle when im stressed out but dont have that option right now because i sold my last bike when my daughter was born....but i think its time to purchase a new one. I also really enjoy building rc's to get my mind off things. Working out helps too
Same here when my son was born nd of 2019. Sold my bike mid 2020… with all the lockdowns here and closed borders It didn’t make sense for 2020 me haha. But yeah.. now I’m looking at buying a bike to wrench and ride on againz
@@WasNiksIsNiksWordtNiks there's nothing quite like riding a motorcylce . Leaning in the curves hitting those switchbacks and feeling that power.... man i miss it. My last bike was a VTX1800F Spec 3 man it was my baby. I loved the color It was bright blue metallic
Best stress reliever is a recent hobby I picked up. I am going old school, middle school era, and roller skating. The stress just melts away when you are zooming down the road trying not to fall.
Having been to my first event, aka crawl for a cure, meeting up with you an other youtubers, an crawling with others is always fun(as long as the rig doesnt turtle every 5 secs) i enjoy building as much as i do driving, but just tinkering helps alot after a long stressful day personal
Exercise is great & RC crawling for sure..when time permits, of course..(bashing is a great stress reliever also, something relaxing about blasting around & thrashing shit) & 420 (in no particular order 😆)..we all need to take a time out for ourselves every now and then..even if it seems counter productive to our current mission(s)..hang in there brotha💯🤙
Went to Crawl for a Cure. Drove tiny trucks with my lady. Awesome event. That helped reset my stress meter. Love the shows. My Girlfriend loves Nichole.
Going hiking with a rig, or driving one of my 24's on the rock course I am working on in our front yard. If I have to be productive, I love to chop wood and haul it to my parents house.
Lately I have honestly found crawling to be a great stress relief, but only if I go by my self, I can really fell myself relaxing while trying to navigate obstacles and seeing my trucks move over the terrain, highly recommend it, and if it doesn't work for you where you are maybe you need to try some of our Swedish terrain ;)
Josh just grap your favorite crawler and go hit the rocks and trails for a couple of hours. Take your mind off of everything but the crawl. Greatest stress relief I can suggest.
I have recently found Gunpla. It's a great stress reliever. The builds can be simple or you can go nuts on detailing them. Add a podcast in the background and its a great little therapy session.
For me it's get up early Grab my favorite, working, and quietest crawler. Go to my favorite crawling spot within a reasonable range. Spend an hour or so peacefully crawling with no people, no noise, no phone and enjoy the morning
Stress relief; karting. There is a local place with a three level indoor track with electric karts that hit a (claimed) top speed of over 30. They are incredibly fast; and you can drive at 10/10ths on a track and probably not die. It’s an excellent feeling.
Even if we didn’t have to sleep we would still not have enough time to get stuff done. I have found cycling helps me reset, even a 30 minute ride helps a lot 3-5 times a week.
12 years ago the “white labelling” of products started to get out of hand in rc, I know, we owned a hobby shop. So few people r&d and desgn their own products. Nice update. 18 channel lol. Chronic helps stress lol
I’ve been know you disassemble and clean a perfectly fine running rig that isn’t even that dirty just because I enjoy the process. That combined with some chill background tunes and I relax
My stress relief is building an 81 toyota trail truck. I did the hardcore crawling scene and just want a simple old truck to drive to meets/comps/camping sites so I picked it up and slowly work on it to clear my head
My best stress re;iever is getting out of the San Joaquin Valley and up in the sierras. I obviously can't do that everyday so my everyday stress reliever is walking 7 miles a day after work. Great weight loss program and it prepares me for the next event on the rocks. Glad your back.
Working out 6x times a week this month.. going out with rc's... and watching yours and sbg streams... that's what works for me... Better health.. more time outside and mind off stressful stuff🙂
I’m particularly interested in the FMS FJ cruiser and gray FMS LC80 tho I’ve been told it’s probably a good idea to have a spare motor on hand. I saw an Instagramer make more room for the battery in his FJ by moving the ESC to the trunk which is neat. I prefer the blue of the EASYRC one but I fear that one might not have an interior.
I have the eazy rc patriot the lc80 but i put a hobby plus esc/receiver combo in it and its got metal wheels and rc4wd tires it has interior so i have a driver in it its a solid rig for $100 just needs a lil attention to make it better 👍 gave a sweet paint job too
My local trail spot is next to the river in a tropical forest paradise that I live in... so that's my stress reliver. Or I ride my adventure bike, or I go for drive in my full size Landy 110, or I ride my MTB... Makes no difference which of those it is so long as my phone is off
Lately I’ve found rc crawler videos do the trick. Also science videos, all the Dark5 and other Dark channel content, Mark Felton’s military history channels, funny Reddit thread videos, and of course creepy stories from 4chan Reddit, and some of the live reading channels too.
I’ll have to look at some of those video styles. I watch a lot of science, engineering and geography based videos already. I also enjoy some of the gaming videos as a zone out activity.
My best stress reliever is just getting home and saying hello to my dog. Just sitting there for 3-4 minutes giving her the scratches she loves and at the same time forgetting work exists.
I like the 1:8 240z... those basher drag tires are pretty cool, stress relief... sitting in my car in the driveway after dropping kids off before going in the house.... I live in Oregon soo... enjoy that last song or watch a quick youtube... sure as shit isn't flying fpv quads... or fixing them...
Stress release for me is one of 2 things, hop on the FatBoy and go for a ride and I always look forward to scale Sunday’s with friends always lots of laughs
What id really like to see in 1/6 is an FJ40 with the front axle in the correct forward position. Four link not leaf. I’ve always preferred that to the Willys
Thank goodness you’re back Wednesday, it was like attending a funeral last week(in and out). Anyhow I go to the garage and start tinkering to get away and clear my head
Totally feeling that NO Time for Fun crunch, and WTH happened to the Summer, I blinked and it was over. Time to go on a hike with my Huskies and spend some time outside away from it all to reset my perspective and take in some Nature, best stress relief in the world.
Lego kits. So working at a hobby shop means playing with my RCs is a bit close to work at home. Building plastic models is rewarding but not always a good stress reliever with all those small parts.
Eazyrc is part of FMS, body is the same but they have plastic frames and sub par electronics compared to their FMS equivalent, for the price though it’s not bad at all.
Thank you for sharing Josh, I just sent email about those aluminum blocks that holds the ring gear in the housing for my pro can’t get the bearing race out of one of the blocks
The reason for the tires coming out suddenly is that there's apparently been a shortage of rubber, even full scale tires were difficult to get until very recently.
Yeah buddy I'm always stressing. But I'm on my 2nd week where I don't have to go to California till August 2022. Waiting on all my parts, wheels, and body's for my class 1 and class 2 rebuild for East Coast Nationals. But after a week-10 days in this 18-wheeler and I get to breaking worn or old parts on my RC's or like last week 2nd battery on my BLX3'S Senton RR axle breKs and front tires pop. I get on the Harley( Miss my supermoto) wind therapy does it. But been riding since 5 years old be 44 Monday the 25
I’ve been flying my Mavic Mini 2 a bunch. Mostly looking for fall color. Picked up a RMX 2.0 BMW drift car. Learning how to drive it. Finished 2 SCX-24 builds (although may try the full 4 link suspension on one). Video games and photography are my other stress relievers beyond rc. XMas wish item would be a Ram body for my TRX-4.
Finally getting back into the hobby, and my stress relief is going out for a quick trail run, but I am Wondering what you'd use a 80t brushed motor for
I used high turns like that for my motor lathes back when brushed motors were still used in racing. I don't know if you can even buy a pathe anymore though
Still wondering when the proline felony wheels are coming..... Thx Yikes nearly missed that bullet had the limited edition 7px in my cart last night and didn't press the last button!! 10px come to daddy
OH, how I KNOW about "too much to do, not enough time". In my line of work (Professional Chauffeur), the schedule is constantly changing...sometimes, even changing on a given day in the middle of that day. Rarely do I get 2 days off a week...and, in many cases, I can work 6-8 days straight (federal law prohibits more than that for Class A/B drivers). On top of that, the wife is a bit of a 'hoarder'...so, for every 9 things I clean up (or throw away), she adds 10. So...what do I do for "stress relief"? Building an RC in the back, away from her, is one way. Going out to RC (boat, local race track, etc), away from the wife, it's another. Just getting out of the house, away from the wife, is another. Accepting additional runs for work...especially anything that might involve an overnight in a hotel...that keeps me away from the house is another.
I don’t know how to break this to you but RCs are my stress reliever for my real world job/life. I don’t know how that equates when you work in the RC industry. Maybe it’s time for you to get into gardening?
Thanks for another great snu. I appreciate your hard work and dedication to this series, always look forward to it. Do you think the PlayStation mask and red jump suit will be a big hit for Halloween this year? Shooting my compound bow always helps with my stress.
Thanks again to the Ridge for sponsoring this month’s videos. Go check them out at ridge.com/harley10

I go for a drive in my ZL1, and went drag racing with it for the first time this year so thats my stress release!
Went to Crawl for a Cure. Drove tiny trucks with my lady. Awesome event. That helped reset my stress meter. Love the shows. My Girlfriend loves Nichole.
I ride BMX for a stress relief and for exercise too. Just riding a bike in general is one of my favorite things to do.
Me too. If I could get paid to ride a bike all day, I would.

Easy rc are less expensive models than FMS because the Easy RC models use a plastic chassis where the FMS models have a metal chassis.
