Mk4 recaros are lovely seats, in my opinion the best seats for the mk4. Keep going with the work on vws. PS: if you find some mk4 3 door recaros please send to Portugal.. Afonso
Find a shorty headrest for the middle or all three! Usually they’re in B5.5 and B6 A4s I believe. I ran them in my MK4 golf when I leather swapped my interior
Yeah what happened putting GTI seats in my Mark 4 the connections are not the same bummer at least want to get the airbag connection corrected the seat belt connection I can switch out seat belt connector trying to figure out what to do no heated seats bummer anyway need to get that airbag connection correct any help or suggestion you can throw my way would help
I stole the black leather recaro seats from my previous gti which was a 5 door and put them in my 2003 gti 3 door so if someone needs to sit in the rear they have to squeeze through a 40cm gap haha
Help help searching back and reading through everything and anything ...looking at all comments taking out original seats out mark 4 ( passenger seat burned) here in the states found a set of GTI s super clean but the^%# man the connections are giving me nothing but problems I can switch out the seat belt connection ,,there's no heated seats in the gtis seats , bummer,,most important I want to put back the airbag connection.pins are not the same connections not the same help help

Those Recaros are SICK!! The wagon is top notch. If you could take it stateside with you I’d put the 3.6 in it, maybe even AWD. Keep it up!

middle seat is vw higline, that on the right from baisic vw named tredline. There was and velur seats in comfortline.

For your v5 and 1.8t you could poly engine mount for cheap its super cheap like £10 for 3 sets. Its two chemicals mixed together.

Yeah the high bolster leathers have the same cut as the basically recaro cloth/leather. They’re very huggy. Heat kicks on them too
