You should carry an orange vest, a trash bag, and a grabber with you and when it’s time to leave walk out picking up trash. Nobody is going to question a guy collecting trash from the bushes. Might be a good idea going in as well.

I've been debating whether or not to comment. But I lost my dad two years ago, and the youtube algorithm blessed me with a video of yours from six months ago and you look so much like him that I literally felt my heart drop. I've been watching a ton of your videos and it feels just like having him around again - camping, drinking a beer, and generally just enjoying life. Thanks for making nice videos.

I used to do something similar but in my car growing up lmao! I used to get kicked out of my house often so I'd always hang out with friends at car meets and shows etc. in the evenings and then go and "scope out" a stealth camping spot for my car and I to sleep. Any of my friends would have let me stay with them in a heart beat but I didn't want to impose and to be honest I always enjoyed the adventure of sleeping in my cars. Always be watching for security, people milling about, evidence of others left behind, similar to what you do. Didn't want a spot too remote as I didn't want any trouble with people messing with my car but not too populated as to draw attention. One of the most memorable nights, I posted up behind a warehouse by myself and woke up to 5 or 6 semi trucks around my car. When I crawled out of my car they all were sitting around a mini BBQ making sausages and stuff and they looked at me and said "long night eh? Want some breakfast?" So I sat with them and had some bacon and sausage. It was super fun. Not sure how I stumbled upon your videos but they are fun to watch! Brings back memories.

I work at a Wal☆Mart and we have this area in the back of the store that empty pallets and the recyclable cardboard and plastic sits waiting for pick up. It's enclosed by a wall on one side and some trees and a fence on the other.
Anyways, one day the janitor found a little tent ⛺ some guy has been living in. The area was clean, all of his possessions were there, nobody had any idea he was there.
Anywho, janitor tells the management, they call the local police and throw his tent away and the cops kindly took his stuff in a couple of bags.
Dude came back, and was upset, and even though I wasn't there, I was told the cops were called back and he admitted he was out there for almost a year.
Pretty clever spot. He was just trying to get back on his feet is all.

It wasn't so bad, cos I got to save all my money for a month and factory had locker room with shower and decent meals in vending machines at the breakroom. If it didn't start snowing I honestly might have stayed longer. all I had was a bivy tent with a real tree deer blind around it for camo sitting space. sometimes it was awkward getting to it without fellow workers offering me a ride thinking I was walking to my home, and having to meander till there were no cars and then olympic sprint for the treeline lol. stealth camping had it's worth for me for sure, can be useful when you are going from zero back to hero, cash grinding and saving for a place of your own again when shtf.

Dude, since the internet exists there is nothing special about where you live anymore. Lots of people like coleslaw on a pulled pork sandwich.

6:30 “It’s not as if I’m going to be sitting here in the woods pulling my own pork” Is the quote I need on a t-shirt, hoodie, and a bumper sticker. 😂
Joking aside, Steve, you’re amazing. I have been watching for years and still enjoy binging your videos. 💜☺️

Steve cooking his dinner and says “it’s not like I’m in the woods pulling my own pork” Sorry Steve but my Scottish humour had me choking on my dinner with that statement. My response was “you’ll get arrested doing that”

With most warehouses, once they leave for the day/night, there’s no one there. And most security guards, if a place has one, normally won’t bat an eye if aren’t trying to get in somewhere you aren’t supposed to. Take it from a truck driver.

Wow, that was cool as always. Just made me a quick Steve style dinner after work. Cracked open a can of beans, added 4 cut up wieners, added a couple slices of red onion, a bell pepper and a couple slices of tomatoes. Simmered for 15 minutes and voila! It was awesome!!! Glad I didn't stop at Taco Bell... Lots of leftovers for tomorrow or freezing.
