Automotive Territory: Trending News & Car Reviews and I might do a review with my new roadster when it comes out. So any suggestions what I should call my UA-cam channels name because my kid uses it to send fortnite clips to a fortnite channel.
It all depends on the model. But for example if you were to compare Harley Davidson Ultra Glide with it's three wheel counterpart the MPG is 43 vs 42. Three wheelers extra 400lbs weight actually takes a toll on the fuel consumption
Please don't think I'm being funny in any way, but have you actually ridden any of these? The biggest problem with some three and four wheelers is the fact they don't lean, this imho makes them dangerous, some times this can be overcome by an experienced motorcycle rider, but someone coming from a car will have no idea of how to counteract this, it feels like it would like sitting on a car roof as you go round a corner, it pushes you to one side, obviously the faster you go, the harder the push. On a proper bike, the gravity pushes you into the seat, keeping you and the bike in one straight line to the road, that's why bike tyre's have tread up the side and car, quad and some trikes don't. How anyone could even think putting someone who has only ever driven a car on a trike, or anything that even remotely handles like a motorcycle is fuckin rediculess, the other way round would be much easier. The reverse trikes are getting pretty good, i was even contemplating buying one for my wife, but she adores her old Suzuki GT 380 (2stroke, and mint) but she really didn't want one. Most of these are enormous, and compared to a normal motorcycle that's exactly what they are (3 time's wider than her bike) some of these are wider than a city car, and if you work in a city, then instead of darting through the traffic, you become the traffic, so your commute becomes that much longer. The majority of these are based on big engined machines, so you fule bill goes up, a lot. I'm told that they are good for what their good at, eating up the miles on a motorway, not so good on the fun stuff (B road's). Although I'm not keen on the subject matter, I'd like to say that your production and presentation were excellent. Please don't think I'm a hater, I'm looking into building a reverse trike for my son, and you can bet that it will lean into the corner's. P'S fuck me their expensive.
Thanks for your feedback. I understand your concerns and am aware of the dangers that Delta trikes pose. However, I have to mention that those are usually bought by the older generation Harley Davidson riders, who can no longer handle a big HD, but want to continue riding their favorite brand, keeping the iconic looks. I don't think young riders , switching from a car, will opt for a super expensive HD trike. Tadpole trikes , on the other hand, especially with leaning capabilities, are much better in terms of stability, aren't they? Im not at all assuming that you were hating on the video, this was a perfect example of how people on UA-cam should converse and express their opinion, supported by open arguments Iwish you good luck with your project and invite you to visit my channel from time to time. Just recently I covered electric motorcycles. Check it out ua-cam.com/video/o_yLKbYaATU/v-deo.html
When I bought my Freewheeler I was thinking the same thing. After I got the feel of the bike I can take corners faster and safer than a 2 wheeler. the key is knowing when to slow down and when to give it more throttle. I have noticed that by giving it more throttle the trike will want to straighten out through a corner or curve. I do lean into the curve when in mid turn at highway speeds to keep the inertia from throwing me off. it makes it fun going over the tall curvy bridges that connect highways to each other. Don't knock it till you try it. You don't need to be "old" to ride the freewheeler. You just got to get use to the inertia forces that are in play.
LOL....Being an "experienced" motorcycle rider has zero to do with riding a trike. They are completely different animals. In fact, to be successful on a trike, you have to "forget" a lot of things you did as an experienced motorcycle rider.
Don H that’s true, and this is for the other “so called bikers” out there. Please bear in mind there’s a lot of bikers out there who can’t ride 2 wheels anymore, and we still like to ride! Three wheels is as close as we can get!
Nope to the two wheels in front. The engine provides power to the back tire(s), one tire pushing the motorcycle and also the front tires just doesn’t seem right. Cheap as can be too. Still no dice. The two wheels in the back types were very expensive, or cheap, but no driving range. The only cool one with two wheels in the back is not street legal and low horseys. Put at least 100 horses on it and then I am sold. “I can’t drive 45!”
Hi there! Well, I have never seen a car without a steering wheel ;) I m not saying it is a motorcycle, but rather a trike and I wanted to hint in the narration that it is tough to give it one single name. How is the trike classification? Does it fit the Spyder?

@@malcolmnuttall3165 reverse trikes have been around for a long time and while I agree they are more stable that doesn't make what we call a normal trike unstable please explain what you think torque steer is this should be interesting when you say reverse trike is normal to steer that tells me that you haven't read what we call a regular trike that was set up right if the front end has the reduced trail it will steer as good if not better than the reverse trike and if that's what you say I'm betting that you've never ridden one that was set up with reduced trail
Adiva and Piaggio is more than good in city trafic and on the road trip 😎😎😎
Those are nice options indeed.
My choice would be the Russian Trike! (the last one(
Great for off road riding, too bad the top speed is only 28 mph.
No problem for me I'm in no hurry. And I wouldn't register it or put a tag on it anyway. ..... but I would use it any where I wanted to go. Be it to the grocery store or in the bush, or the water. ..... I live in Florida, America.
You should contact the manufacturer of this bike and ask if they are exporting it to the US.
Would be nice to have one. Import them please.
I hope they will read your comment and will start exporting them to the US. If they don't, there is always an opportunity for you to become a dealer yourself and send import.
How about yamaha tricity?
Love the suggestion. This trike slipped through the cracks. Hope that Yamaha Niken bike was a fair payment of respect to this motomaker. Did you like other entries? and by the way, do you ride the Tricity?
bonay
No Triumph Rocket III Trike? With the 2300cc engine?
Apparently I missed it. Awesome suggestion!
V8M - a “trike” with four wheels?
Where is the king of trikes the Goldwing 1800 CSC trike😮
Good video
Thanks, did you choose your favorite ride yet?
Automotive Territory: Trending News & Car Reviews I like the Nikon because it turns very nice but the price is something I will consider
Orange Harley Freewheeler is my top pick. Though handling is better on the Niken
Automotive Territory: Trending News & Car Reviews I think that will probably be my second pick
Automotive Territory: Trending News & Car Reviews and I might do a review with my new roadster when it comes out. So any suggestions what I should call my UA-cam channels name because my kid uses it to send fortnite clips to a fortnite channel.
I wonder why other manufacturers do not make three wheel bikes. Those Harleys and Yamaha are dope!
Because they suck. The Yamaha is aoput as good as it gets but is not as good as a regular motorcycle.
Is three wheeler less fuel economical than a two wheeler ?
It all depends on the model. But for example if you were to compare Harley Davidson Ultra Glide with it's three wheel counterpart the MPG is 43 vs 42. Three wheelers extra 400lbs weight actually takes a toll on the fuel consumption
My canam gets 454km to a 27ltr tank...
Thanks for your support.
I like the TRIO made for Harley and Honda. I would like to see more of it and a price range for this.
I'd like to buy a secondhand Rocket lll Roadster and get it made into a trike.
The modification could end up being more expensive than a ready made trike, but it will be an awesome project! Best of luck with it!
where is the ural with the side car
Great suggestion. I don't think they still release those, so I missed it during my research of the contemporary models
Do you have a trike glide for 5.000.00 dollar can a chance for a Piaggo Mp 300 from 2013 Miles 11.000.00 .please can you anser my thanks .
I would love to answer your question but it doesn't seem to make sense.
I think he is saying that he wants to change his bike for a $5000 trike glide, he has a Piaggo MP 300 he can give as a payment.
not for me expensive still love my Nissan Versa all season vehicle.
I won't compare the two vehicles, but do admit that the Versa is a fuel efficient and affordable model that can be a great daily driver
No FUV?
What is the name of the Russian 3x3. It sounds like you are saying “show fresh”.
There is a list of all models in the description.
Pretty sure "trike" by definition has 3 wheels.. not 4
Yes, I know. But I still wanted to feature some fun exceptions. Hope you don't mind.
You missed the goldwing modification which is the ultimate trike as far as I’m concerned!
No urals? sidecars still count for 3 wheels
Yeah, you're probably right.
Never ridden a spyder then?? 115hp is enough for my f3s spyder.. And two wheels on the front.. You get used to it.. Makes for excellent cornering...
it is pronounce as "KNEE-KEN", Ni means "2" and ken means "sword"~~ Niken=2 swords
Thank you a lot!
How much is the V8M
I included the links to all official manufacturer websites. Up to date prices and specs could be found there.
where is the yamaha tricity 125cc.
It's a nice suggestion indeed.
Ill stay with mine
What model do you currently own?
Excelente motocicleta
Which of these is your favorite?
Can Am Spyder
That's a very fine choice indeed.
ONE MC IN USA IS THE URAL WITH SIDE CAR STANDARD EQUIPMENT. WTF IS IT?????
As always the HD is extremely overpriced!
a spyder is not a motorcycle thats a car torn down
Hi there! Well, I have never seen a car without a steering wheel ;) I m not saying it is a motorcycle, but rather a trike and I wanted to hint in the narration that it is tough to give it one single name. How is the trike classification? Does it fit the Spyder?
@@automotiveterritory trike should be 2/3'd motorcycle but the spyder was like a off road vehicle 4 wheeler into 3 wheels. I even have some friends calling that can am spyder more like a car than a trike or motorcycle. A small car like the Reliant Regal
It’s much more of a motorcycle than a car. Have you ever ridden one?
Since when do you get cold and wet in a car?
NOT according to any State DMV....
