Hlw sir i am 16 yrs old discus thrower but i don't understand which discus (lo spin or high spin) should I buy. ? I have been practicing discus throw for 3 yrs with wooden discus. But now i want to buy fibre or abs plastic.but i don't know which is better? My throw goes flatly . Plzz help me sir
Brandon NAYLOR lots of help available ... become a member of throwBIGthrowFAR.com The key is patience and your right foot. Most throwers struggle keeping the heavier discs back behind the hip long enough. Keep turning the power leg, be patient with the upper body and you’ll be on your way.
I had this problem...for me, a weak link was my grip strength which was weak...this caused my release to be too early because I couldn’t hold on long enough to fully whip around from a locked down power position...try doing some grip strength workouts if this happens with you as well...another thing is to just take it slow and practice your full spin with no effort in the throw to work on technique and go from there

Pick up something with more rim weight then the woods your throwing ... plates are personal preference
