It never ceases to amaze me that Randy was 22 when he wrote this stuff. Chops from hell but taste, too, to make the chops subservient to the song (kudos to Bob Daisley for helping Randy mature as a writer).
Just something about this song. The composition is just so poetically mesmerizing. RR was something else. Not everyone can compose music like this at 23 years old.
Wow holy f#×k my wife is a huge Madonna fan and myself an Ozzy. I showed her this and even she was like dang. He is amazing and played it note for note without missing a beat. Thank you for your tribute to Randy Rhoads who I heard at the age of 8 in the early 80s. Keep rocking on brudda
There are some live version by Ozzy himself with Randy Rhoadss... the footage it bad when it comes to image quality, but still performed perfectly, theres a remastrered audio version from an Ozzy Show, the "Tribute" version.
Randy had those babies gained out with DiMarzio Super Distortion, MXR DIST+, yet controlled that rig that was trying to run away with feedback at every opportunity. His rig control was otherworldly.
Epic. Revelation solo at the end is TOUGH. He killed it. Probably best version I’ve heard. The phrasing in the solo is very difficult and most very accomplished players have difficulty pulling it off. I’ve heard Zakk Wylde both nail and flub it.
Agreed... He did a really "good" job, but Randy's subtle nuances and phrasing can't be copied. I have yet to see anyone do more than just a good job at covering his songs.
the most curious thing is that he knows Rhoads family. Kelle Rhoads played on piano on his second solo album. and he took music theory and piano lessons from Delores Rhoads.
I heard Keith urban is another massive randy fan....plays all the solos etc...sad so damn sad for randy...if there was ever a person who shoulda lived it is Randall William Rhoads..Godspeed
If only ozzy saw this he could easily replace Zak. Zak used to be awesome then he drop tuned too much and used too much pinch harmonics. Good Job Monty covering King Randy
Why would a talented guitarist be needed for Madonna concerts? That would be too easy---he'd only have to play 2 or 3 notes while the keyboardist and drum machine programmer does the rest.
The older I get the more this tune becomes my favorite Ozzy song ever.
mine too
But it has to immediately be followed by steal away the night.
@@craiginjapan36 I agree...it's like they were written to go together lol
It’s been my favorite since I was 14 (1987).🤍🖤
Anche per me è la migliore

Randy and ozzy and Bob and Lee were in this band also !
This is not an easy song to play live this fkn guy did an amazing Job 👍
Rock on dude 🤘
And he picked the whole thing, Randy didn't
Randy forever!
Just something about this song. The composition is just so poetically mesmerizing. RR was something else. Not everyone can compose music like this at 23 years old.
Beautiful
What a band!!! Singer sounds great, drummer, guitarist, bassist and keys too. Well done and much appreciated. 🙏🏽
I think he did Randy proud.
That was awesome, he played it almost note for note yet put his spin on it 🤘
Exelente sorprendente felicidades maestro Monte pittman
Awesome Cover. Never heard a better Version besides the original ozzy lineup. Good Craft, Passion. The musicians understood the song deeply
Bravo
that's a serious f#$-+;+! musician right there. From material girl to that? that's impressive. Hats off Monte!
You know you can swear, right?

Ice Kube Qwerty nice quote, I couldn’t agree more
Awesome performance !!! BRAVO !!!
Fantastic!
Why have I been so ignorant . This guy is amazing. Thank u
Music to my ears in a way that plenty of other peoples guitar solos aren't
Great job
Absolutely rocked it! Excellent!!!!!
awesome performance !
Great cover and love how the band rocked from the interlude through the solo!
F****** awesome, great guitar player

That was an unexpected gift I clicked on... I'd never seen that song played.
There are some live version by Ozzy himself with Randy Rhoadss... the footage it bad when it comes to image quality, but still performed perfectly, theres a remastrered audio version from an Ozzy Show, the "Tribute" version.
Didn't know Ozzy got replaced with Jim Morrison! Great performance!
Simply Outstanding!!!!
Monte Pittman plays plays a good guitar but Randy Rhoads is still king ofthe Guitar may he R...I P
A master piece! OO + RR= Perfection!
sounds great but damn Randy had Godlike massive tone from those marshalls that just can't be emulated.
Still very good though. He got majority of the notes right, and his feel, phrasing and timing were very spot on throughout.
2 Marshall plexi stacks creates beautiful but brutal sounds
Randy had those babies gained out with DiMarzio Super Distortion, MXR DIST+, yet controlled that rig that was trying to run away with feedback at every opportunity. His rig control was otherworldly.
Nice
My favorite song
Dewey sounds freaking great
I knew the madonna comment was coming!! Monte kicked some ass very cool!
It doesn’t get any better than that! Tough song live, especially with a pieced together band.
Beautiful classic, r. i. p. Randy!
Epic. Revelation solo at the end is TOUGH. He killed it. Probably best version I’ve heard. The phrasing in the solo is very difficult and most very accomplished players have difficulty pulling it off. I’ve heard Zakk Wylde both nail and flub it.
He didn't do himself any favors by playing the solo at a faster tempo, but he nailed it.
Agreed... He did a really "good" job, but Randy's subtle nuances and phrasing can't be copied. I have yet to see anyone do more than just a good job at covering his songs.
@@livemusicreportscustommusi4245 Dimebag did the best of them all
@@hieinh Dime was up there with RR and EVH.
That Ludwig drum set sounds awesome. It looks like a classic Alex Van Halen kit.
Espetacular!!!
Шикарно, чел может.
Sigo escuchando esta y me pregunto que paso con el maestro monte pittman alguien me puede decir
He played it super fast on the solo. But he definitely kept it in the pocket and in key
Good to see Phil Soussan on bass.
nice Ludwigs!!
Muito bom sonzeira
is that Phil Soussan on Bass?
Madonnas guitar player.....Really??!??

I was there in the 2nd row
!!!!!!That Is FUCKING bad fuckin ASSSSS
Thanks for Nuno's whole name. Now i know.
Leonel Messi on the guitar!!!
CROW ART STUDIO I was thinking the same damn thing!!!!
Did Sharon fire the sound guy, too? Keys???
Everything is better with age Music
*I Supposed....Monte Was Singing!!!!! X3 :(
Badass guitarist. In Madonna's band????
Jim Morrison stunt double on vocals
Damn, he picked the whole solo whereas Randy used tons of hammers and pulloffs . That's impressive
"Pullouts" 🤣🤣🤣
@@olidoran2485 Pulloffs . Auto correct put it that way
If only ozzy saw this he could easily replace Zak. Zak used to be awesome then he drop tuned too much and used too much pinch harmonics. Good Job Monty covering King Randy
Nice job trying to keep up on the solo... seemed like the drummer was rushing them.
To this day still cant be played note for note
Why would a talented guitarist be needed for Madonna concerts? That would be too easy---he'd only have to play 2 or 3 notes while the keyboardist and drum machine programmer does the rest.
Never heard of this guy, what an awesome guitar cover. Why the fuck is he wasting time playing with Madonna?
It’s called money.
Give credit where credit is due! I don't care who he played for he did this song justice! Nice job but still not Randy lol
Lose the leather buddy and get a vintage guitar that looks like a Prius.
Madonna Guitarist...that's like saying tallest midget.
