Unconditional positive regard, also known as "UPR" is associated with Carl Rogers, the founder of Person-centred therapy. Unconditional positive regard refers to accepting and valuing the client precisely as they are without judgement, criticism or evaluation.

I just have a question... if a client mentions about suicide ideation but not clearly what intervention would a pct therapist would take ? And how tht would have an affect on client ?
