Nice job. Even with a couple of small rules mistakes it is nice to see someone competently show off the game. I actually like this better than most big box dungeon crawlers. It is definitely challenging but really not nearly as difficult as many make it out to be if you play the game how they want you to play it.
How does combat work? The dice always confuse me - you need a 7 to hit him from the dice you rolled you got 5, 5 and 3 that's 13 you hit him? But you say you haven't? I'm confused. Is it a particular number with symbols on it and numbers with no symbols is a fail?
So you only get to choose one dice out of the ones you roll. Except 1 and 2. If you notice there is a plus in front of those. Meaning you can add those to another die. So that means the best roll is actually a 6, 2, and 2. So that means a 10, is the highest you can roll. Then you add any pluses you have from your equipment and abilities. Then if you successfully hit, any dice that you didn’t use. You get that much focus (lighting bolt) or health (heart) back. Does that make sense?
How many dungeon card you set in deck B? Do you use 3 dungeon card because there's only one altar room there, or do use 6 dungeon card because you are playing with 2 heroes?
Thank you, because I wonder am I doing it right or not. I played 3 heroes game with story expansion and set the deck B with 9 dungeon rooms, 2 altar rooms, and a story based dungeon room. I lose that game because I can't find the story based room and I'm running out of time.
@@dimassatya8154 ya I do feel sometimes more heroes are slightly harder, sometimes. However, make sure that when you shuffle in the story card. It does specify that it should be shuffled into the TOP half of deck B. Meaning if you play with 3 heroes, the story room should be within the first 4-5 of deck B. Then as you build the dungeon you can count the cards and you have a much better chance of finding it quicker.
It was clarified in March 2022(BGG FAQ thread) by designer that for Stories Level 1 you add 3 Dungeon cards per minion, minions are fixed at 1 for 2 Heroes and 2 for 3-4 heroes. Sadly days after the faq was published.
So the torch track moves down before you reveal the rooms. So there were no goblins at the time the torch track moved to the space. Hope that makes sense!
Hi, at 31:30, B objective, that was not the corner room...the grid is 3x3 from central entrance, so it had to be 1 more right room...😉
Oh dang! You are right! thanks for pointing that out!

Thanks for watching! Ya, I like the challenge and the importance of the strategy. I really like that aspect of it.
Hey! Great video... at 27:48 you didn't have any focus to pay for Divine Might! Looking forward for the next videos!
Oh snap, I didn’t catch that! Thanks for pointing that out!
Great game! Can be incredibly hard to beat! Lost a game today, got caught into a death spiral
Yea, agreed. If someone gets killed it’s really hard get get out of that spiral. But such a fun game!
18:54 You don't get to take the 'unused' focus from the #4 dice? Or does unused focus/health only applies a success roll?
Correct, you only get the benefit of the 'unused' dice if the role was successful.

In the base rules it says 3 per hero and it didn’t say anything different for the story setup. So I still did 6, 3 for each hero.

Right at the beginning, shouldn't you have activated the 2 goblins?
