- Fix scratches and protect the lenses of your Oculus Quest 2 using KlearKare! If you have light scratches applying this to your lenses will fill them in and make it appear as if you have no scratches. Also this will protect your lenses from scratches.

You will need a pen or pencil to trace the shape of the Quest lenses on the backing of these scratch protecting film pieces. The link above is for the 49mm size. These are originally to protect watches but work GREAT for VR HMD lenses!
Download the following PDF so you can use it as a stencile to trace over the protective film for cutting it to the correct shape:

To create a dust free environment you can run the hot water in the bath tub and let the bathroom steam up. Then let it settle and all the dust will be out of the air. That's how I apply screen protectors without dust.

ATTENTION: I just wanted to let you all know that if you just bought a quest 2, and you have a lens scratch from wearing glasses AND you used the provided spacer, you can let Oculus know and they might repair it or replace it. They’re replacing mine. All I did was let them know about the scratch. I didn’t even ask for a replacement. I just asked how I could get it repaired. Hope that helps.

Hey Buddy, i got that same issue yesterday, i was wearing the spacer as provided and my glasses scratched the left lens, now i have a scracth on my glasses and on my oculus. Do you know where should i go to get this solved? Thanks!

What if we have slight scratches in the headset, trying to fix any scratches in my oculus 3 I would clean them and put these protectors on if it would work you think
cool, thank you.. but if you are not suppose to spray the solution on the lenses, which I would be nervous to do because I dont want liquid inside of headset, where are you suppose to spray the liquid, on the film?

hey, is there a better way to apply this protector? i dont wanna spray the lenses, because i dont know if it could get in the electronic parts. also it takes a lot of tries trying to squeeze the water out to stick to the curved lenses. the only thing i didnt tried yet is using a hairdryer, idk if it would ruin it or no.
Just wait it will dry. You don't need to squeeze the water out.
i have 8 pairs of glasses and no matter what pair i use i keep getting smudged scratches on my lenses. theyre not horrible but i notice them. after all the jank i ordered a set of what you put in the description because they are literally unsearchable on the amazon app. only precut ones show up but your link works to find the self cut ones. very excited to get these on. thanks for the best jank on youtube. outstanding video!

@@BlackV4You i meant i had tried 8 pairs of my normal glasses and nothing worked and id scretched the lenses. getting the setup for the oculus fixed the lenses immediately. then i ordered rx lenses for the oculus that snap on and it is perfect now and scratch free
Great video! The ones in the video are a single large sheet that you cut in two, but the link in the description appears to go to some that are already cut into small circles. Do you have a link to the specific ones you used in the video? I'm considering putting them on a Pimax headset with large lenses, so I need them to be large like in the video.
The ones I used are the ones already cut in circles I had to cut them even smaller as shown in the video.
If you pause at 3:11 You can see the 2 circles on the single sheet
would the product also work for the PlayStation VR glasses?

I think my vr lens has residue from the manufacturer sticker they put on it. Gives me bad headache. Any advice?
I don't remember any residue being on the plastic. It seemed to stick like plastic wrap does. Maybe try a damp microfiber cloth?

Do these cover smudges?
I would recommend cleaning any smudges off before applying these.
I wonder if you could just put them on and trim the excess with a razor.. ? Might scratch it worse! lol
