How to make Sticky Toffee Pudding | Jane’s Patisserie

Sticky toffee pudding is the best pudding EVER, and nothing will change my mind. Yesss you heard right, this is my favourite pudding ever. I know, there’s so many good ones to choose from, but I always go back to this beauty 😍 It is THE BEST. Do you serve yours with ice cream or custard though?! 😏
Recipe:
The pudding
■ 175g dates, stones removed
■ 175ml boiling water
■ 75g unsalted butter
■ 175g dark brown soft sugar
■ 250g self raising flour
■ 1tsp baking powder
■ 1tsp bicarbonate of soda
■ 75g black treacle
■ 3 eggs
■ 125ml whole milk
The sauce
■ 75g unsalted butter
■ 75g dark brown soft sugar
■ 2tbsp black treacle
■ 1tsp vanilla extract
■ 150ml double cream

I love sticky toffee pudding ❤ This recipe is great 👍 I use 50/50 Treacle & Golden Syrup, its the perfect balance of rich but not bitter & dark. I find all treacle a bit strong.

I’ve yet to find a sticky toffee pudding as good as cartmel! 🤤 my dad used to own a caravan a short drive from the shop. Not had it for years! I didn’t know you could order it.
