Charisma ingrained into every ounce of his body and soul. If ever a man fulfilled his destiny, it was Joe Strummer. Born to be a leader, born to perform, and born to change peoples lives.
He and The Clash certainly changed mine, and I'm in my fifties now but the passion is as strong as ever. I cried like a baby when I heard about Joe's death, and I'm not ashamed to admit it.

Without question the best thing out of the 70s. Hope you're raising hell up there, Joe! "The new groups are not concerned with what there is to be learned. They got Burton suits and think it's funny turning rebellion into money." Today they just talk about breakups and money.

I love the way half way through the song Joe signals the sound man to turn up his vocals coz he can't hear them because of the crowd joining in.

What a great man Joe Strummer !
Met him in a Camden bar where I was bartender in 1983.
