thank you for your feedback. as you know each person needs to be aware of what their ability to work with most any kind of vinyl film like ours. obviously some are more skilled and knowledgeable than others. the plus of the thickness of our film is that it is constructed to withstand impact of rocks and other small road debris thus saving you from having lights cracked, chipped or broken.
I tried this... TWICE... with my Q7. It's like trying to vinyl-wrap a basketball without using a heat gun.. nowhere near as easy as he made it look. Mine still aren't done LOL the fingers of vinyl are huge and wouldn't flatten down, no matter what I did.
the shape of some lights are much easier to work with than others. we provide an installation difficulty rating on our product for each kit. 'Level 4 or 5' we recommend using our Universal Sheets product or you can certainly take a sheet of Lamin-x to an installer - either way.
@@Laminxfilms I get that, and thanks for the response. However, I've ruined two films, trying to get them to lay down properly. And I used to tint car windows for a living, so I have a strong understanding. These just kicked my ass. I have a 'last set', but the nearest LaminX installer is 45 miles away. That round trip will cost me more in fuel than it did for the cut pieces for my Q7. My Q7 is same as the one in this video.
Go to a tent shop and get clear tent applied this material is so hard to work with

Not sure if you can answer this but why do you guys not sell clear bra’s for rear lights?
@@benlogicfactsshapiro I'd guess because the tail lights dont see a lot of 70mph road debris
@@geriatricginger Yes but that doesn’t change the fact they still make rear PPF for tail lights without a clear option.
