Would you believe me if I told you we do their landscaping at their house, for quite a while now and we always see them, to us they were just normal, very humble folks. And then they told us they were artists and we were like wow!

Love this trio - so much sound from 3 people! I designed the acoustics and sound systems at this room at KUT in Austin where this was recorded so I am a proud Papa!

I saw them live in Vancouver about 5 years ago... let me tell you, they ROCK. It was a small club, maybe 100 people. They were touring Slow Air at the time and the crowd was just stunned. Why aren't they superstars... who knows?

First song I heard of them was The Trip, and I fell in love with their music. They are a great band with such emotion in their songs. 💖
Only thing wrong with "The Trip," it's about 9 hours 12 minutes too short.

This is the first time I've been genuinely interested in a new band in about five years. So much awful shit out there and so few diamonds hidden in the vast swamps of excrement that passes for music these days. This band is very good.
I totally agree with you. Except for me it's probably been more than five years. The last group that I became really excited about was OceanLab, which led to Above & Beyond. It's a shame that in this day and age, you either have to stumble upon, or actively search for, music like this.
There are TONS of great artists - just very few in the mainstream. You gotta dig for the treasure.
Reminds me of me when I was 16 and claiming I could only listen to classic rock music and all the other stuff was garbage. Glad I'm done with that. Here are some bands you could enjoy : Alex G, Diiv, Current Joys, Ruby Haunt, Mount Kimbie (and many more)

Still Corners are the best ethereal, dreamy band going. Soon as tours begin again I'm getting to see them live. Heart-warming music.

So this might actually be my favourite song of all time. It has everything - from those ethereal vocals to the off the chart guitar work. It's heaven. And the live performance is even better than the album version. By the time we reach the "to an island in the black....black...black...black..." I have officially lost my mind. Thank you Still Corners.

They really are brilliant, makes me smile to see someone else enjoy them. Around the same time I fell for Still Corners I was also listening to a lot of Wild Nothing, Beach House, Washed Out, Blouse, M83, Deerhunter, and The Radio Dept. Goldfrapp's more recent albums (Tales of Us and possibly Silver Eye) might also be of interest to you. I hope you or others might like some of these bands if you loved Still Corners.

Look, I was 66 when I stumbled onto Still Corners.
I was cruising through Nevada when this tune streamed in, 2018, summer, cruising in an electric car doing 138.

I was so fortunate to have chanced upon this band 5 years ago now, via of all things, the political doco' "The Circus", which was all about the rather bizarre 2016 US presidential election...heard "Currents" playing upon that & then searched far & wide for it & FINALLY I found it...!!

That's a nice looking guitar. The drum set is beautiful. And her hair is awesome, how is hangs over her eyes. The style alone of this performance is so spot on. Just add that to the music itself and you've got a classic 👌🏻
