Satellite Lovers are the best group ever! Ok maybe not but they were in the experimenting phase trying to find their identity, something we can all relate to. Which makes them the best ever!
@@Miguel_Noether i never implied they should have. I`m a musician myself and that was never my goal, any art should be done with first goal to please yourself. I was just remarking that if we`ve never heard of them until now it might be why.
Sometimes, it's a double-edged sword, right? Putting out similar music can help you find an audience. But if that same audience thinks all of your music is too similar; they'll complain and say you don't do anything different
I've been listening this band albums. Most of the songs contain many american/british influences,... very openly. And it's no surprise since Japan was/is a huge consumer of brit and indie music. Sunlight is basically Desire by U2. Central Park could be something from The Cranberries. Nice music anyway.
"basically" is a little unfair to them. They have a unique version of all this influences, and much larger than only britpop-like music. Did you see that sons of 1973 album?
@@future9488 Got it, just seemed a bit unfair to their uniqueness. I am a great fan of U2 and didn't agree with "basically", but I agree with you that they have this influence - which I only realized because of your comment. I think what really matters is that we agree they are very, very good.
I know you've probably been asked this 100 times already but would you consider uploading the album in a lossless format like FLAC? good stuff regardless
Thank you for uploading this! I also appreciate the download link for the audio files! I'm just wondering if you have these files in lossless FLAC? I noticed they were encoded with iTunes, do you own the original CD? Many thanks once again :)
@coazop It'd be great if you could share them too if possible! So people can choose between a high-quality version and an MP3 version if they prefer. Again, no pressure :)
Anyone know any other J pop/City pop songs that use harmonica like the first song in here? I liked how Carlos Toshiki used one in his song "Automation"
No way AI is this advanced yet. And if it were you'd see more everywhere just like all the AI models that popped up. Not that it would necessarily be a bad thing. Imagine all the musically creative people out there that can't sing or play musical instruments. How much great music were we cheated out of and how many we"re in store for if they can use AI to help them produce it.

This is now my favourite album from this band. Just amazing and what I call ‘comfort music’ 😍
fantastic EP. like it as much or even more than "Sons of 1973"

GIVE ME LOVE 響いた…
Thanks, I’m Japanese and I love discovering new bands, ironically, who are old😅.
なに?この新しさ👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍♥️
Thank you so much for this I would have never discover them
This band didn't make two records that sounded the same. Which to be fair probably didnt help them find an audience.
1997.11.21 released 😅
Imagine to record music just for the sake of pleasing an audience... 🩻

Personally that’s what I like about them. They can do multiple genres and make it work

George Harrison would be happy and crying. They got him, they knew what he was talking about... in the 70s

That 90s American rock n roll/country vibe is very strong.

I am confused. is this a real band? or is it all ai generated?

Why would you think it's ai generated?
I can see some recent sales on Discogs. One of the best bands I've ever known, trust me, I know plenty of music.
Sounds like Led Zep 😂😂😂 👍
